I remember back in 2007-2008 thinking Ron Paul was going to win the GOP nomination and that he had an actual shot at becoming President. Some of the traits that made me a supporter or his are the same ones that prevent him from being elected. He was never going to win over the ignorant and stupid, so even if the MSM would’ve given him a fair shake, his candidacy was doomed to fail. To win you have to pander and say things that you neither believe or ever intend to do and he is too honest to be a politician in this sort of system.
