WE ARE NOTHING BUT CATTLE IN AN INDUSTRIAL PROCESSING FACILITY

Guest Post by Hardscrabble Farmer

There is a growing divide in the country and day by day it grows deeper and more irrevocable. All around us we see the signs, if we look for them, of decay and collapse built into the very system itself.

If you reward indolence, it will become the norm, if we practice wholesale slaughter from the womb to a foreign wedding party others will take the cue. If we celebrate slatterns and degenerates and ridicule the wholesome and traditional we will wind up with more of one and less of another.

The further an organism lives from it’s natural state, the more adaptable the organism will become to that which is unnatural.

Yesterday an older farmer came to pick up his cow from my farm. She had been a guest of ours for several days to be bred by my bull and when he arrived I asked him to pull his trailer to the lower trail beside the stream and open the rear door. I explained that I would be opening a gate from one pasture and leading the animals to another, that his animals- the cow and her young heifer- would follow at the rear of the herd and when he saw them approach he would simply close the pasture gate behind them and allow them to load back in his trailer. The cattle dogs watched my every move, excited to work and anxious for their opportunity to show off to my friend. I called out to the cows- mooing to them from the trailhead- and they quickly assembled at the gate, mooing in return.

I opened the gate, placing my hands with palms extended behind me and walked them along the trail towards the upper field. The dogs, without instruction, took up places at the right and left of the herd, keeping a close eye on the calves. When the last calves passed through the gates the dogs trotted alongside them without a sound and followed them the length of the passage. My friend stood by his trailer watching for his animals and as my herd moved into the upper pasture they spread out and put their heads down to the grass walking slowly uphill.

The calves, younger and full of energy shot ahead past his animals and sprinted through the gate to catch up with their mothers on the green field and like clockwork his two cows passed the edge of his trailer and made a sharp right and climbed into the trailer without a hitch. The dogs came in for a pat and a couple of “good dogs!”, panting happily.

He shut the door behind them and looked at me with a rare smile on his face, genuine and slightly surprised.

An cow in it’s natural state, well fed, not stressed, kept on pasture rather than in confinement and handled with respect are trouble free. They thrive. They get along. They breed easily, deliver strong calves, put on muscle with ease, and are generally a pleasure to be around. Human beings share a very similar set of needs and requirements as most domesticated livestock- domesticated livestock being a creation of humans, adapted to human use and care throughout the centuries and to human habits and behaviors.

In progressive farming- yes, that’s what industrial agriculture calls itself- animals are kept in confinement, fed diets that contain little or no grass in order to fatten them quickly not with protein rich muscle but with tallow. They are pumped full of antibiotics- not to keep sickness at bay but to kill the digestive microbes in their guts so that each pound of feed is more readily converted to a pound of fat. They stand not in fields of grass but in knee deep paddocks filled with manure. They are moved about not by family farmers who have known them since birth, respectfully and with ease, but by hirelings who shout and push them and use taser like devices to shock them into compliance from on overcrowded paddock to another, filled with fear, their bodies flooded by hormones before slaughter.

How do we fail to make the connection? How do we not see that the further we drift from what we were meant to be and to do as human beings the more we become disoriented, obese, dysfunctional, angry, depressed, violent or passive in the extreme. These responses are the natural outcome of unnatural circumstances and we should be in no way surprised that the more we extol and promote such systems the more often we will see such behaviors. It isn’t surprising, it doesn’t require any in depth studies or introspection beyond the obvious.

We are a product of our time and place. We live in a dystopian future that makes Brave New World look positively mundane in comparison. Mass shootings are the natural outcome of a society that mentally shackles its population while pumping it full of psychotropic drugs and violent imagery. It tells us to turn away from bullying while it dumps payloads of high explosives on hospitals and schools. It tells us to empathize with women while objectifying them via pornography and then denies young adult males the benefits of a loving wife and family unless he meets an impossible standard or forces him in direct competition with females both academically and in the workplace, putting off family formation until such a time as a woman is near menopause-

I could go on but you get the picture.

What is happening is- in my opinion- is engineered. You couldn’t do more if you personally placed the gun in the young man’s hand and gave him a lawful order to kill everyone in that school- and ironically is that not what we do to our drone pilots, only in different locations?

We are being led, deliberately and inexorably to the abattoir. The only question is, are you willing to submit?

Llpoh: Thanks for the heads-up! LOL! Walked right into it~

Smells to me like operatives intentionally disrupting dialog. (There are said to be a substantial cadre of paid individuals to do that sort of thing, as well as several others, out there). It would be interesting to make a study of them. Clearly, they are not very sophisticated. The one taking the name “BB’s ex-girlfriend” is actually a fellow of fairly low intelligence, and should never been assigned to this kind of task. (Though it was fortunate for us, that he was: he inadvertently tips their hand, and it is obvious to all with just a small amount of awareness, what this is about.

Now that we see what the coarse ones look like, we can begin to look for the subtler ones.

…. who knows…? We may arrive at individuals with sufficient intelligence to be woken up!

…and…. what if someone wakens them?

Hmmmmm~~~

:

Hiya there intelligence operatives!

Interesting box you are living in, there!

Sorta….~

Did it ever occur to you, in your more lucid moments, that when you engage in this kind of thing, you are revealing what lies in your unconscious…? … to the whole world….? … including your peers?

Hmmm…..~

Try real hard to guess at what kinds of results that that might lead to~

Happy Dreams!~

You misunderstand.

Administrator is hard-nosed about this being a free – speech zone and every day a number of comments are made which you may find outrageous (and some of them are). Sometimes discussions turn volatile. Some commenters have been here a long time and know each other well, at least their online personas. Irreverence is appreciated by just about everybody, and hatred of the political and economic leadership of the world is routinely expressed. There is a particular fondness for mocking anything that remotely smells of hypocrisy.

Everybody gets offended eventually. Most skins are thick enough to allow return to the fray fairly quickly though. People tease and mock each other. “bb’s ex” is a fake doppler and the comment was meant to tease bb, a fairly common occurrence. A first time visitor has no way to know these things. I can assure you the actual intelligence level is high, and if someone with Hardscrabble Farmer’s gifts and class hangs around, you have a fair idea of the caliber of thinking that goes on despite the occasional nonsense. If nothing else, the entertainment value alone makes the site worth visiting. So don’t assume anything, and don’t give up just yet. It’s a unique place.

What does it take for a nation so steeped in the celebrated perversion of morality , sexuality, good government and freedom to gain a secure foothold with which to climb out of the abyss of self-destructive sin in which we as a nation have fallen? Whatever the answer may be, it is not via the popular vote , I assure you.

I spent four hours driving my 88 year old mother-in-law to our place yesterday. She is a southern girl raised dirt poor and has seen it all in her years. She talked about how bad things are getting and how our “leaders” are corrupt to the core. She, like HSF, sees our society slowly moving to immorality and debauchery. She doesn’t use the Internet, but watches TV.

Her words, “Bad times are ahead. I can feel it in my bones.”

I agree with you 100% about the farther one gets from nature but your cows are not in a true natural environment. Our New Mexico range cows are very close to one and are trapped only 2X per year. One time at branding and the other at weaning. I would classify them as feral/wild and yours as domesticated. Which is more natural?

Actually ours are pretty gentle on horse back but I wouldn’t suggest getting on the ground around them!!

We are entirely too concerned about the opinions (foibles and weaknesses?) of others, but it’s tough to think for oneself, against the crowd. And act accordingly.

I have somewhat longishly believed that we have become an Amoral Society (in the popular sense, there are those that remain deeply religious) as a result of the deification of cold, hard, Materialist science, the “thingization” of everything including people, and the attenuation of Christian morality. Society has lost its soul.

Or maybe to inadequately summarize: Freedom is a mental attribute first.

Newt,

I just wrote a piece on transhunance that explains a lot about the relationship between livestock- so-called domesticated animals- and human beings.

And you are mistaken about our animals, they do indeed live in a natural environment, simply one that is managed. They don’t live in a barn, they aren’t confined (except to our land) and they eat only grasses and forbs, etc. I wouldn’t refer to your style of ranching as “neglect” because yo only round up and harvest when it suits you and leave them to their own devices otherwise, by the same token what we do is entirely “natural” in that the animals live as they were meant to according to their nature.

Forty years ago we used to have a breed down here called florida scrub cow, and it was literally the only cow, other than Holsteins, you saw in entire state. They were the hardiest cattle, could live and thrive on the worst range with zero care. They are a curiosity now, and quite rare. I plan to get some when I retire.

HSF,
I enjoy reading your well reasoned commentaries. While I agree that our society is engineered, I wonder how much of the engineering is intentional and how much of it just happens. I studied architecture at an engineering and science college. We took more humanities courses than the engineering and science majors. One professor described our curriculum as “generalist”, a mix of art and science. The engineering students specialized in various fields, i.e. aero, civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical and were trained in the practical application of proven principles. The pure science majors, like physics, math and chemistry attracted the really bright genius types who went on to get PHDs and do advanced research. While I observed a fascination with learning and speculation and brainstorming about possibilities, there was little thought about the adverse consequences of technological development. And so, the cold-blooded psychopaths who are in power and running the show have been handed the tools to control the human herd.

Michigan Begins Heritage Hog Slaughter
http://www.motherearthnews.com/homesteading-and-livestock/michigan-begins-heritage-hog-slaughter.aspx

Booher’s aide, Kara Butters, told me in a phone interview that the Michigan Pork Producers Association, specifically MPPA’s executive director Sam Hines and MPPA board member Harley Sietsema, have been shopping this legislation for several years, trying to find a state legislator to sponsor the law.

Unable to find anyone to do so, the pair then took the proposal to the DNR, which responded with the ISO. Sietsema’s High-Lean Pork owns 250 of Michigan’s 313 confined animal feeding operations, or CAFO, hog farms, most of which are “farrowing operations,” dedicated to providing young pigs to ship out of state to other hog farmers.

I spoke with Michigan farmer Mark Baker of Bakers Green Acres farm in Missaukee County and asked him how the ISO would affect his heritage Mangalitsa hogs, for which chefs around the country pay premium prices. The Mangalitsa is a Hungarian hog prized for its extremely high lard production. Baker raises about 75 Mangalitsas a year and feeds out 50 to sell to top chefs.

Michigan Orders Slaughter Of All Heritage Breed Pigs

Michigan Orders Slaughter Of All Heritage Breed Pigs

In a brazen power grab threatening small farmers, the Michigan Department of Natural Resources (DNR) is using the state Invasive Species Act to expand its jurisdiction beyond hunting and fishing to farming operations. Their controversial Invasive Species Order (ISO) prohibits certain pigs the agency deems “feral.” Based on the way the state is enforcing the rule, even domesticated pigs under human husbandry are suspect. Farmers, ranchers and game preserves with successful small businesses are now threatened with economic and criminal sanctions, based on the physical characteristics of their swine.

Implementation of the ISO, as of April 1st, not only takes private property without compensation it also denies farmers of fundamental private property rights and the right to make a living. It will reduce or eliminate customer access to heritage breed pork, a product that has become increasingly popular with health conscious consumers and restaurants across the state.

The ISO allows DNR to seize and destroy pigs raised by Michigan farmers; Michigan DNR has publicly stated they will not compensate farmers whose pigs are destroyed. Possession of prohibited swine after April 1, 2012 is a felony with penalties of up to two years in jail and $20,000 in fines.

Our days as ” the cattle” are numbered.
Are there any here who still doubt that the two parties of corporate pawns and their putz-n-chief Obongo aren’t systematically replacing the the American people with cheap foreign labor?

Exclusive — Jeff Sessions: Time To Hit Brakes On ‘Radical’ Pace Of Immigration

The exclusive chart provided to Breitbart News documents how for every one net American born — i.e. births minus deaths — “the federal government will add seven more people to the country through future immigration.”

“When asked why politicians are not pushing to enact the immigration reductions desired by their constituents, Sessions explained that Washington politicians are “too close to the corporate class,” who see higher wages for workers as a bad thing because it increases labor costs. “If you read the business publications, and wages go up, they think it’s bad.”

Sessions, however, does not subscribe to this corporate view of American wages. “How can that possibly be policy for government officials… It just infuriates me,” Sessions said.

Sessions, who has been a tireless champion of the American worker in the Republican Party, explained that elected officials ought represent Americans, not special interests groups or big business donors:”

flash, you’ve outdone yourself with this find.

“Queering Elementary Education,” from the editorial review at Amazon:

“Those who teach queerly refuse to participate in the great sexual sorting machine called schooling where diminutive GI Joes and Barbies become star quarterbacks and prom queens, while the Linuses and Tinky Winkies become wallflowers or human doormats.

Queering education means bracketing our simplest classroom activities in which we routinely equate sexual identities with sexual acts, privilege the heterosexual condition, and presume sexual destinies. Queer teachers are those who develop curriculum and pedagogy that afford every child dignity rooted in self-worth and esteem for others. In short, queering education happens when we look at schooling upside down and view childhood from the inside out…”

You’ve. Got. To. Be. F*cking. Kidding. Me!

Really? Really!? This crap has reason to be in my kid’s school classroom, elementary or otherwise!?

This text is the end result, the illogical extreme, of people who buy into the mantra, “We’re from the government, and we’re here to help you.”

Government has ZERO business teaching my children about morality. And let’s be clear, for a large segment of society, this IS about morality.

But let’s go a step farther – let’s say it’ s simply about “lifestyle” choices. Again, the school (state) has NO business telling my kids what is or isn’t acceptable here. There are laws that do this (and how) but more importantly, there are social mores that should be left to direct daily behavior, not the state and it’s “ideas” of social engineering.

This is why my kids do not step foot in the public school system. It’s social engineering at it’s most sinister level: subtle, pervasive and unrelenting.

sexuality shapes children’s friendships and peer relations

The problem is we have a country divided, and an administration that has purposefully fomented the divide.

Nearly 50% of households receive some form of federal government benefits; SSI, SSDI, Medicare, Medicaid, military pensions, etc. Many receiving benefits “want change” but they’re not going to give up or allow for reductions in what they receive. No “workfare” or “means-testing,” etc.

From Roosevelt’s “New Deal” to Johnson’s “Great Society,” once the benefits genie was let out of the bottle it became impossible to put it back without societal backlash.

When financial reality regarding the ballooning federal budget finally hits home, it will result in divisions between entire demographics, with intense disagreements over whose entitled to what and why.

In the meantime, we already have mounting disagreements over the direction of federal involvement in daily life, with a large segment demanding more, and an equally large segment demanding less.

We’re so far down this road, with so many vested interests adamantly clamoring for an ever-larger cut of the pie, there’s no way to resolve the issues without upheaval.

None of this will end well.

EC, hardly, tolerance for deviancy was first hawked as integration of society at large. The greatest socio-engineering experiment in history was kick-started with forced public school busing with none of the instigators having a clue what the outcome would be…but now we know. It was an unmitigated disaster.

Why School Reform Failed

Raymond Wolters, National Policy Institute, August 26, 2015

Why School Reform Failed

Everything forced integration achieved was bad.It created the white flight phenomenon which left the urban centers to physically and morally rot for lack of talent/skill and leadership. It spawned the conversion of hundreds of thousands of acres of fertile forest and farm land into sterile suburbs inhabited by those now disconnected from community and tradition, forced into long soul searing commutes that incrementally wore their humanity down to nubs.

And , it would be difficult to gauge the gargantuan cost of life, wealth and resources (fuel in particle) lost because of this great Federal fuck you to those whites who only wanted their kids be protected in neighborhoods free from violence , drugs gangs and feral culture, none of which are conducive to the the rearing of any children.
But the break from community, church and tradition was not to be recaptured in the burbs. The cultural and spiritual links were broken and the soulless community of the sprawling suburbs never seemed like home to those who’d grown up in neighborhoods where the people were more like family than neighbors.

Disconnected from culture and community the latch-key kids of the 60’s and 70’s also became disconnected from family as well, which led to experimentation in counter-culture and drugs in order to fill the spiritual desire to connect with something of lasting substance and thus the way back was lost.

Failing to reconnect with community and culture via drugs and collectivism, the new counter culture turned to making money as their raison d’etre and no means of acquiring more was too low for them to stoop. Although these newly minted capitalists lived the comfortable bourgeois lifestyle behind the walls of gated communities , they preached something totally different – tolerance, diversity and egalitarianism- while surreptitiously practicing freedom of association.

Once the disconnected boomer brats broke the bond of culture and family there was no barrier the the cultural Marxist couldn’t breach. Traditional barriers to destructive feral culture where knocked down in churches, schools ,popular entertainment and personal relationships and all because of the Federal governments forced disruption of the continuity of continuity and tradition in the names of multiculturalism and tolerance we now face the end of the Christian based civilized society we once new , but of which twenty somethings never even got a glimpse.

We built this modern day Sodom and Gomorrah at the behest of the Federal prophet of the false Rainbow God of tolerance and diversity of all but the righteous.

So EC, in closing up this rambling rant , I’ll leave you with this..What the mass invasion from South of the US border has brought is vicious gang violence never seen before on any level and hordes of free shitters severely taxing the revenue sources of local state and Federal govenrment to the point of insolvency. Instead of allowing hoards of third worlders to invade out southern borders, US policy should have required the latino countries civilize their nations ,before allowing the feral overflow to spill into ours. The cost to productive society has gone beyond bearing.

tolerance began in small doses until people became so desensitized to debauchery they allowed it to permeate mainstream culture until mainstream became as debased as any past established society ever was..upon which none ever stood long after.

http://www.catholicgentleman.net/2015/10/how-porn-turns-men-into-little-boys/

The attempt to make sexual deviancy appear gentlemanly seems to me to be nothing more than the attempt of weak men to justify shameful behavior. Since the very first issue of Playboy hit the magazine racks in 1953, Hugh Hefner’s strategy was two-fold: to distributors he would market the magazine as soft-core porn, but to the target audience he would market it as a men’s “lifestyle magazine” for upwardly mobile men. This began the cultural change of porn’s public image:

[W]hen the editors addressed the reader, the pictures were just one of many attractions, rather than the attraction. The reader was invited not to masturbate to the centerfold but rather to enter the world of the cultural elite, to discuss philosophy and consume food associated with the upper middle class…The markers of upper-class life, which appear causally thrown in as afterthoughts (cocktails, hors d’oeurves, and Picasso), were deliberately placed to cloak the magazine in an aura of upper-middle class respectability.

Just as sure as Playboy would have died without the naked women lining its pages, it also would have died without its articles and advertisements, which gave permission to the self-defined middle-class American male to indulge in porn.

Man up and live your own life. I told the wife if she wanted the big house and new car’s,To get a job and pay for it.Funny how her mind changed about that.
Having extra food and a weapon to defend the family. Supply’s for getting through bad times? Your mate should applaud your desire to make sure everyone is taken care of.
Right now is the time to get out of debt,If you currently are.
The problem with the whole prepping thing is how many think looking like Rambo is the key. Many will find out that food is needed more than mass amounts of ammo.Food run’s out fast. How many people doe’s everyone see shooting at?
Camping gear,Warm sleeping bags and blankets. The ability to cook and purify water would be a good idea. This stuff really isn’t that tough to do.

So, I wanted to come back to this thread. I thought it was a really good read with lots of good advice given, and taken. I thought it was odd to receive so many thumbs up with not a single thumbs down. There must be some kind of common resonance with the others out there on TBP. Other spouses not on the same prepping space, I suppose.

After much thought, and some kind, gentle words on my part, I realized I just needed to vent. Rant a little. I was really making a mountain out of a mole hill. Having a little pity-party, as it were.

The truth is, no, my wife and I don’t see things eye-to-eye. We’re located in a huge metroplex (Dallas/Ft. Worth; 7 million fuckers live here) and she digs it, and I can barely stand it. She likes it that we’re close to the Super Target and the Super Kroger and the Cinemark multi-plex. I’d like it if I could sit out on my back porch in the evening and hear some fresh water running, and the bullfrogs and crickets singing their natural tune. Throw in a coyote’s howl on a cold, full-moon night, and I’d be in heaven.

And, we’ll get there, someday. As for now, we are where we are. It may not be the best location if shit really gets sideways, but right now, shit isn’t sideways, and I’ll deal with a future situation differently. By no means do we live near the urban ghetto, but we also don’t live in uber-rich whitey-ville. We’re actually about two blocks from the uber-rich, but we live on a street with some elderly, a Columbian woman, a landscaper from Guatemala (BTW: That dude has the nicest house on the block!!) a functioning alcoholic and his family, and a retired military man. We’ve been in this neighborhood almost a year, and we actually know our neighbors better than living 8 years in El Paso.

My wife is actually very helpful in our prepping efforts. It took me about a day to calm down, look objectively at everything she does to keep our household running, and I realized that by no means do I have the same situation as TE.

My wife looks after our chickens, more so than I do. She actually knows which chicken lays which egg. She likes the honeybees, too. It’s our first year with those, and we don’t know anything about them, except it takes a lot of sugar water to keep them fed. She’ll go out there and change out the sugar water without any of the headgear or gloves on. For reasons unknown to me, she is unafraid of the bees.

She also supports me in my kooky permaculture activities. I’m going to have some permies over at the end of October to help install some swales in the backyard (to harvest rainwater) and she’s ok with that. She’ll cook a brisket or pork roast or something and have some beers with us at the end of the day. Pretty cool deal.

So, yes, we eat out a Chick-Filet more than I’d like. I envy Hardscrabble for his setup. (Envy isn’t actually the best word here, but I’m trying to get this typed up and I don’t know what other word to use.) But we’re not there, yet. Maybe we never will achieve the level of prepper-hood that HSF, llpoh and others have.

But we are where we are. I planted three raised-garden beds full of spinach, swiss chard, carrots and broccoli. I’m building two more raised beds and will have them installed in the next couple of weeks. Probably plant garlic and pecan/persimmon trees in those two.

She may not understand the financial/war/violence themes that I’ve grown to understand since reading TBP. And, who knows? There may be a time coming when she realizes moving to this large city was a mistake. But I won’t say, “I told you so.”

I’ll say, “OK, here’s what we’re gonna do……”

Thanks, TBP, for giving me a place to vent.

You know Tim, my wife wasn’t on board with my decision to change our lives either. Like your wife she was comfortable with the life we had, the shopping, the neighborhood full of children and other wives like her. We had all the trappings of an American Dream minus the deeper satisfaction of a life tied to self-sufficiency. Hell, I was trapped in it too. I liked driving a nice car, having a beautiful home and enough financial wherewithal to do what we pleased- within limits of course.

The problem we had was that none of it was satisfying. Like obese people who constantly crave more because they aren’t nourished we got caught in the trap of wanting more without realizing that it didn’t feed what was really hungry in us.

There was zero guarantee that what we decided to do was going to fix what was wrong. We certainly didn’t have the experience going in- gardening was about the extent of our skill set. Our marriage was good, but we were becoming alienated from each other by all the time I spent commuting and at the office, I was angry all the time because of what I was discovering about how things really worked and every attempt I made to vent by writing only caused more anguish by blowing back at me. Clearly we were at an impasse. The decision was spurred by the sudden and unexpected death of a beloved family member that woke us up long enough to actually ask ourselves if life ends without a moment’s notice, why wait to do what you dream about until there may be no time left?

We took a gamble, but we also went all in. We committed ourselves to doing this primarily for our children- we wanted them to have the kind of life in Stucky’s thread, the childhood I had with even greater challenges and we threw ourselves at it as if our lives depended upon it, which oddly enough they do. It took time to get our heads out of that old style of doing things and into a frame where we believed in ourselves and our abilities. My wife was miserable at first and it made me question my decision constantly. The first couple of years were extremely difficult without the farm work, adding that to it made it so onerous I didn’t know if we could make it, but like the old saw about each journey of a thousand miles beginning with a single step, we just kept moving in the right direction- for us. We made more mistakes than we made right moves, but we gained just as much from what we lost than from what we won and each little move forward brought us closer together and we could see in our children that what we’d done was exactly what we needed to do. Now, earning 90% less than we did 7 years ago we find that we’re 10 times more content. Our love for each other and our mutual respect and admiration has grown to the point where we have truly become ‘one flesh’ in every sense. Our dependence upon things I would have thought impossible to live without has vanished and we face each day with the kind of outlook that makes our life richer than if we had pursued wealth.

The reason I keep writing about what we’re doing isn’t to get other people to do what we’re doing and unless that’s your dream I wouldn’t advise anyone to try it, but it is to reinforce the idea that you should be doing whatever it is you feel you were put on this earth to do; to spend the greatest amount of your limited time with the ones you love the most, to understand that having your loved ones think well of you is more valuable than the approval of the whole world, that anyone with a modicum of intelligence and a healthy body can learn and master just about anything you set your mind to and that at the end of the day when you lay your head down to rest you must believe that you left the world better than it was when you arose that morning, no matter how insignificant that change might have been.

You get one life as far as I know and if you want to get anything out of it you can’t cheat yourself. You don’t mail it in when you can kick it through the goalpost and you never forget that the biggest agent of change is your willingness to put it all on the table every single day.

Tim, you’re further along than I was when we took our chance, believe me and you’ll go as far as the two of you are willing to go and succeed as well, no question.

Tolerance, they said…

We’re Only Three Small Steps Away From Legalized Pedophilia

Step One: Establish a legal right for “transgender” children to receive hormone therapy

Step Two: Destigmatize pedophilia first as a mental disorder, then as a sexual orientation

Step Three: Extend children’s legal rights over their sexuality to allow pedophilic relationships

flash says: So EC, in closing up this rambling rant , I’ll leave you with this..What the mass invasion from South of the US border has brought is vicious gang violence never seen before on any level and hordes of free shitters severely taxing the revenue sources of local state and Federal govenrment to the point of insolvency.

It’s an epic rant, you covered the last 60 years of American history with verve. I was reminded of Updike’s Rabbit Redux but also of Run Rabbit because I can feel your desperation with life. You should read Tim’s and HSF’s long comments above, they also describe the sense of alienation you seem to have; a disconnected and purposeless existence. They found a way out, you are still wallowing in the muck, I don’t agree with your conclusion because there were queers long ago, and there were financial crises also, but will accept your observation that it has a part in the current reality.
