I just heard a radio report saying $28K was transferred to the San Bernardino shooter’s bank account two weeks ago.
What happened to the patriot act that require banks to report any transaction over $10K?
I guarantee you that if someone transferred that kind of money to my bank account, I’d be seeing a SWAT raid up close and personal. Yet, if I point this “minor inconsistency” out to the average Joe, all I hear is that I’m just paranoid.

Reporting doesn’t mean investigating.
I’ve done wire transfers and deposits greater than 10 grand on a somewhat frequent basis and I’m sure they were duly reported but I’ve never had it called into question or been investigated.
Laws like that are most commonly used to go after someone they want but can’t find anything else about them to go after them.
Neither of them were on any kind of watch list to make their bank account activities attract attention. Malik, the imported and radicalizing one, was fully vetted through Obama’s fiance Visa process and was found to be as pure as the driven snow (not prior, but retrospectively reporters have found stuff like listing non existent addresses in the ME and such).
