You’re part way there.
The “Malignant Narcissist” is actually much worse. For example, they live by the magical WORD: the belief that a fact can be made to disappear or come into existence merely by uttering a magical word; or by maintaining a silence or blindness in the presence of unwanted facts.
These people will DIE OR KILL rather than allow such facts to “exist” in their presence or brain; I mean, if they have brain.
These people are generally known as “controllers”; and where they exercise authority, they will use that power to maintain the “reality” of their fictions.
If destruction of Western Civilization is required to maintain their fictions, so be it. They will even destroy their own children to safeguard their fictions.
Where there are a million people who live by the WORD, there you have the psychological foundation for tyranny: rule by terror.
We would do well, and save an enormous amount of energy and resources if we learn how to identify these people; and leave them to their self-destructive habits. (http://redressone.wordpress.com/cults/)

@DC, this is how I feel after reading that article.
I think I made the case, very convincingly, I might add, in a post here several years ago lining out point by point the case for Obama being 1) a malignant narcissist and 2) a sociopath. Admin can dig it up. I saved it by that was several computers ago.
I had one of these as a business partner many years ago. It was HORRIBLE. She hid a lot of her pathology successfully from the rest of us for several years but when things started falling apart in her personal life (husband asked for divorce, son dropped out of college, etc), she went right off the rails. I left, took a finanical hit to do so, but fared better than the rest of the partners who ended up totally broke with lawsuits all over the place.
My advice if you find yourself in the same zip code with a malignant narcissist – flee flee flee.
