I live in IL.

Voting in a presidential election (not a primary, the one in Nov.) is a waste of time even if I believed in voting.

Why?

Chicago. It insures that IL’s electoral college votes will go D no matter who runs. Lucifer himself could be the head of the D ticket and Chicago’s cemeteries would all pull the D lever.

If you are ever curious about the Gate To Hell, it’s found in the 7 block tall elongated triangle formed with the following corners:
Dirksen Federal Building
Chicago Federal Reserve Bank
Chicago City Hall & The Thompson State of Illinois Building are the pinnacle.

Open Primary, Closed Primary
Open Caucus, Closed Caucus
Election Order

I don’t have a clue what these man; maybe cuz I’m an Independent.
And, does it really matter to me?; as DC Sunsets states, in many cases, it is just a waste of time.

I am getting fed up with my type errors – I had gotten used to Disqus where it allowed to correct, edit, and save changes very quickly.

DC,

Yeah that’s why no Republican has won during the last century or so.

A shame, they could have made a difference if they did.

@Anon,
Chicago is a machine. Illinois is Chicago’s bitch.

About the highest taxes (property, income, sales combined) in the country and still facing utter bankruptcy.

It would not have mattered what label you used. The state is run by a criminal conspiracy and probably has been since Lincoln was a senator.

“The state is run by a criminal conspiracy….”

Isn’t that the truth along with most states and the central government as well.
When I think too much about the people we have to choose from to run the government and ultimately our lives, I am appalled that I even waste the time.

It’s looking more and more I’m just going to stay home come voting day.

The Florida Primary is Tuesday 15Mar2016 (not Saturday 12Mar).

There’s nothing as exciting as a Republican caucus in Minneapolis. At least in 2012 the old white guys in toupees were offset by the Young Stoners For Ron Paul. This year I plan on wearing a “Make America Great Again” hat and swinging some nunchuks.
