Some people have asked why did I bother to follow weather? I became a partner in a firm called Strategic Weather to do long-term forecasting, which today is Planalytics which is geared to forecasting weather for business. The database on weather was put together and formed one of the largest in the country. Weather has played a key role in migrations and the rise and fall of nations. I have warned that we are entering a period which is summed up best as – the Age of Whatever Can Go Wrong – Will Go Wrong.
From a weather perspective, our long-term models at PEI project that we are heading into a mini ice age – not global warming, and it has nothing to do with emissions. This is a natural cycle whereby the energy output of the sun collapses. This week, temperatures plummeted in Hong Kong. They were even talking about snow, which I am not sure anyone has ever seen in my lifetime. This is the Maunder Minimum & the Coming Mini Ice Age. It is blistering cold right now in New Jersey. We have to comprehend that this is like a crash of the stock market from a 1929 high. It will be rapid and by no means gradual. By the time we look back at this in a few years, we will be willing to pay taxes for global warming to heat things up again.
NASA’s climate-change red flag: 2015 was, by far, the hottest year on record

It’s official: We’ve never endured a hotter year than in 2015, according to NASA and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. Well, almost official. NASA said on Wednesday that, due to various factors, there’s only a 94% certainty to the claim.
Regardless, it was really hot. It might be easy to forget those scorching days with frigid temperatures and storms looming on both coasts, but the average global temperature in 2015 shattered the previous mark by 0.23 degrees Fahrenheit. Incidentally, that mark was set in 2014. NASA pointed out that a new record has only once before beaten an old by that much.
“Climate change is the challenge of our generation, and NASA’s vital work on this important issue affects every person on Earth,” NASA Administrator Charles Bolden said. “Today’s announcement not only underscores how critical NASA’s Earth observation program is, it is a key data point that should make policy makers stand up and take notice — now is the time to act on climate.”
NASA explained in a release that the planet’s average surface temperature has risen about 1.8 degrees Fahrenheit since the late-19th century, due primarily to increased carbon dioxide and other human-made emissions. Here’s a video of the long-term warming trend from 1880 to 2015:
As you can see, most of the warming has taken place in the past 35 years, with an amazing 15 of the 16 warmest years on record occurring since 2001.
“2015 was remarkable even in the context of the ongoing El Niño,” GISS Director Gavin Schmidt. said. “Last year’s temperatures had an assist from El Niño, but it is the cumulative effect of the long-term trend that has resulted in the record warming that we are seeing.”
WTC7 caused El Nino, but Trump’s hair gel compounded by the ISIS demotivator will reverse the idiosyncrasy and cause El Salvodor to enter a new ICE AGE, while Alaska warms up to Libyan temperatures. Short the FRB-NY and Komsomolets while going long bear salmon futures and bb’s trucking business.

As a reference for those that may not know, Hong Kong is at about the same Latitude as Havana Cuba.
ASIG: that’s true, but keep in mind that Paris is at the same latitude as International Falls, Minnesota, and is well north of Fargo, ND and Montreal, Quebec. Latitude is only one piece of the climate puzzle.
