Question of the Day, Mar 18

I just finished a family of four’s taxes. Took me over 2 days, 60 or so forms, each to make or save 10 bucks, ridiculous. When will the tax revolt be??

The Gov’t realized sometime after 2000 that outlays were surpassing revenue, with no end in sight.
Taxes used to be fairly simple – Example: My state taxes in CT used to be calculated by 10% of Federal taxes; now, I have 4 pages to punish 95% in order to catch the 5% cheaters.

It is all about going after Money.
NSA snooping has nothing to do with terrorism – it is looking for money.

Taxation in this country is a joke. Just looking at the debt (national, state and pensions), one can see that the sole purpose is about social control/engineering.

Kill The Beast (the RINO and the Rat); the Elite want all your wealth, e-money and The Mark of the Beast; they want you (and even the Useless Idiots) as slaves (or dead and your soul in Hell). Trump ain’t a saint but he sure isn’t one of the Evil Establishment with a skewer out to “barbecue” you! Trump has a good heart and brain who defends the Constitution and Bible (even if he can’t quote them) and he speaks his own mind in our language. Please vote Trump; we can’t afford to lose again.

We’ve reached a point where even the IRS doesn’t understand how to fully comply with all the laws and rulings they are charged for overseeing.

This is a condition that is guaranteed to collapse as its own weight crushes everyone that is involved with taxes in any status from payer to enforcer.

The taxes themselves are another story that can be told, and added to the heap or regulations and laws on top of it.

Oh really?

Perhaps it is time to repeal the 16th Amendment.

“The Congress shall have power to lay and collect taxes on incomes, from whatever source derived, without apportionment among the several States, and without regard to any census or enumeration.”

Revolt? My fat ass. HOW will that happen?

Should we not pay property taxes … and become homeless? Should we not pay income taxes …. and go to jail? Should I randomly go kill someone? Burn down a business? Should I write nasty letters? Should I sell everything and live off free shit?

Really, lemme know how to revolt.

The U S tax code is 70K plus pages. Everyone in America is supposed to know what every page means…at least that’s what a judge will tell you if you’re hauled into tax court . Of those 70K pages about 200 are written for the “Average American “. The rest is for the rich and the powerful ….think Warren Buffet who pays a lesser percentage than his secretary as an example.

If you call the IRS you’ll get the wrong answer to your question 50% of the time,20% of the time they don’t have an answer for you . All of this is according to the GAO.

What’s an ever bigger farce is if an agent tells you how to file and an auditor looks at your taxes and disagrees with your paper work…you’re on the hook for the fines…..Even though you did it their way.

The only was the IRS goes away is when and if TSHTF…otherwise it’s here for the life of the planet !

“The Congress shall have power to lay and collect taxes on incomes, from whatever source derived, without apportionment among the several States, and without regard to any census or enumeration.”

The 16th amendment has ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with the taxes that are imposed on your pay/wages. The 16th taxes income (incoming transfers) that are derived (separated) from their source (property). Examples include: Rents and Dividends.

Explained more: You own a house (property), you rent that house out for $1000/month (income). The house requires $100/month to maintain+property tax. Your taxable income is $900/month. The house is not being taxed under the 16th, just the rent payments that are incoming minus maintenance costs and other taxes.

The true enemy that makes your pay a taxable event is the Federal Fucking Reserve.

“Congress may restrain (TAX), by suitable enactments (IRS code), the circulation as money of any notes not issued under its own authority (Federal Reserve Notes, other bank credit, bitcoin). Without this power, indeed, its attempts to secure a sound and uniform currency for the country must be futile.”

It is really that fucking simple…..We are being fucked because our government gave the majority of the money creation power over to the fucking banks.

Admin, prior to the late 30’s – mid 40’s, the majority kept all of their paychecks.

Social security baited Americans into the system, then backup withholding took the rest.

Since then inflation has gradually pushed more and more of your paycheck into the government pocket.

They never kept up with inflation via exempt income amounts. Prior to the 1940’s most peoples yearly incomes were less than the exemption amount.

Stucky,

You are right, if you try to start a tax revolt you’re likely to end up in jail. The government can and will prosecute people who stand alone and refuse to pay their taxes. But if you could get enough people (I’m not sure how many, but at least thousands if not tens or hundreds of thousands) to revolt AT THE SAME TIME the government wouldn’t have the capacity to prosecute everyone and maybe things would change.

How do you do that? I’m not sure, but for some reason this reminded me of the dancing guy video:

It won’t be a tax revolt, it will be a slow shift to the black market.

When it becomes impossible to comply with taxes, people inevitably find a way to either flat out avoid them or circumvent them.

Even if they abolish cash, people will trade prepaid credit cards, or gift cards, or physical items.
The more they push, the more loopholes people find. Businesses stop expanding because it isn’t worth it. Innovators stop innovating because it isn’t worthwhile bringing anything to a market that will tax and regulate it to death. People stop maintaining their property because doing so (adding improvements) only raises taxes. All of the jobs that go towards marketing, sales and improvements fade away as people no longer use their services, and the tax base shrinks further.

Excess taxation is a death blow to growth, and growth is what keeps our fiat system afloat. The parasite is literally killing itself.

Now, they’ve made filing taxes 10x worst because of Obamacare. How can a self-employed person work within their system, since you have no idea how much you’ll net going into the year, especially in these dismal economic times? Getting the IRS involved was a big mistake, IMO. Bring on single-payer!

“When will the tax revolt be??”

Right about the same time sparrows start shitting golden eggs all over the world, 24/7. If anyone believes a tax revolt is coming then please…….begin holding your breath in anticipation of it and refuse to draw another breath until it comes to pass.

If you want to come up to speed on the subject of tax revolt I think you need to have some knowledge of Irwin Schiff father of Peter Schiff. Irwin Schiff tried to start the tax revolt but failed to recruit a critical mass to make the movement successful. Irwin Schiff died in prison in 2015

You will know that the revolt has started when there are IRS agents filled with lead.

There isn’t going to be a tax revolt. Most wage slaves can’t wait to file their taxes so they can get their big refund. I can’t believe how ignorant so many otherwise intelligent people are about taxes.

I hold my own tax revolt by reducing my tax footprint–all legally–in every way I can think of. It doesn’t do a damn bit of good of course, but I feel better sending fewer of my dollars to fund things I disagree with.
