Know Your Enemy

by Uncola via TheBurningPlatform.com

In his inaugural address on January 20, 2017, President Donald J. Trump, once again, threw down the gauntlet before his political opponents.  In a declaration of war against a globalist establishment, he reiterated his love of country and his support for common Americans.  Just as during his presidential campaign, Trump promised to put America first on the way to making America great again:

We the citizens of America are now joined in a great national effort to rebuild our country and restore its promise for all of our people. Together we will determine the course of America, and the world, for many, many years to come. We will face challenges. We will confront hardships, but we will get the job done.

For me, it was reminiscent of the same scorched earth strategy he exhibited during his speech at the Alfred E. Smith Memorial Foundation Dinner on October 20, 2016.  It appears Trump meant what he said during the campaign and, at this time, he is not acting as a typical politician who lied to get votes only then to change positions once elected into office.

From the very beginning of his speech, Trump identified the demarcation line; or the red line in the sand, that has separated the political establishment from average Americans over the past several decades:

For too long, a small group in our nation’s capitol has reaped the rewards of government while the people have borne the cost. Washington flourished, but the people did not share in its wealth. Politicians prospered, but the jobs left, and the factories closed. The establishment protected itself, but not the citizens of our country. Their victories have not been your victories. Their triumphs have not been your triumphs, and while they celebrated in our nation’s capitol, there was little to celebrate for struggling families all across our land.

Then, in a bold proclamation, Trump announced a new beginning, or rather, a return to the American Way while sharing his victory with those who elected him:

That all changed starting right here and right now, because this moment is your moment. It belongs to you. It belongs to everyone gathered here today, and everyone watching, all across America. This is your day. This is your celebration, and this, the United States of America, is your country.

Of course, establishment politicians, globalists, and the mainstream media found Trump’s inaugural address to be repulsive, undignified, distasteful and not unifying enough for an incoming President of the United States.

Before the speech, New York Times columnist, David Brooks, evidently not admiring the crease in Donald Trump’s pants as much as he did Obama’s so many years ago, took note of the “Internal White Invasion”.

After Trump’s speech, among many various and diverse manic media meltdowns: NBC’s Tom Brokaw and Chuck Todd commented to each other how it was “divisive”, and did not have the “normal presidential timber”.

MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow, among others on her political panel, immediately discussed the speech as “dark and fierce” and that it was “untypical” of past presidential inaugural speeches in “healing the wounds” of the past election and calling for “unity”. Hey Rachel, had Trump mollified your delicate sensitivities during his inaugural address, would that have stopped the ensuing protests in Washington? No way.

Former presidential speechwriter and current senior editor at The Atlantic magazine, David Frum, Tweeted: “Trump is the worse human being ever to enter the presidency and I include all of the slaveholders.”

The ever-solemn Charles Krauthammer, said it was “the most classically populist speech we’ve ever heard from a U.S. president” but also identified it as the “most aggressive, most hyper-nationalist and in some way, the most hostile of any inaugural address since the second World War.”

Unsurprisingly, after Trump’s speech, the press continued to cover him in a very negative light. They have focused on the numbers of people in attendance during the inauguration as well as the size of the television and online audience in obvious attempts to delegitimize the new president. They do this at the same time they deny or obfuscate Trump’s reasons for victory.  Furthermore, the media refuses to acknowledge Obama as the worst president ever, or the fact that Hillary Clinton was one of the worst presidential candidates in history, for their beloved Democratic Party.

Instead, the mainstream media continues to propagate their opinions and bias as de facto majority positions in spite of the very significant political destruction over the last eight years under Obama. Here are some facts outlining the decline and devastation of the Democrats over the last eight years that has now become known as former president Obama’s bitter legacy:

  • Democrats surrendered the White House to political neophyte Donald J. Trump.

  • US Senate seats slipped from 55 to 46, down 16 percent.

  • US House seats fell from 256 to 194, down 24 percent.

  • Democrats ran the Senate and House in 2009. Next year, they will control neither.

  • Governorships slid from 28 to 16, down 43 percent.

  • State legislatures (both chambers) plunged from 27 to 14, down 48 percent

  • Trifectas (states with Democrat governors and both legislative chambers) cratered from 17 to 6, down 65 percent.

For eight years, those who have opposed the soft tyranny of Obama’s leftist politics have stood by the democratic process as he recklessly utilized his “pen and phone” against the will of the American electorate. Over that time, the American voters legally prosecuted the Magic One, the Democratic Party, and their liberal agenda in polling booths all across the land.  It turns out that globalism has been weighed on the scales and, in the balance, found lacking by the American voters.  Obama’s and the Democratic Party’s leftist policies and legislation has failed not because of any prejudice on behalf of the American people, but instead, by the blatant falsehoods that were crammed down our throats in the name of social justice, diversity and political correctness.

Now, the tables have been turned and a “new pen and phone” has been given to President Donald Trump.  What has been the response of those who oppose the man and his policies?  Compromise? Civil discourse and debate? Renewed vigor infused into the democratic process via new ideas, novel appeals to American voters and fresh election strategies?  HELL NO!  Those who opposed Trump have, instead, embraced nothing less than the hypocritical abandonment of tolerance, due process and law as these charlatans preach love and acceptance while, simultaneously, inciting violence and anarchy.

Evidently, political playtime is over and new intrigues have been put into effect by those on the left.  In the days preceding the 2017 inauguration, video evidence was released which exposed an anti-Trump protest group’s plans for “violent disruptions” and even a “chemical attack at a Deploraball”. Moreover, it was revealed that Trump advisor, Roger Stone, was “almost killed after being poisoned with what doctors believe may have been Polonium.”

As the German Press called Trump’s speech a “declaration of war” and German Chancellor, Angela Merkel, lamented her “established” friends that have been swept away by the tide of “populist anger”, one German author has identified three “opponents” who could take down Trump.  According to the article:

Opponent No. 1: The other America. Across the country, an anti-Trump movement is growing….

Opponent No. 2: The Media. Among publishers, producers, filmmakers and journalists, Trump has hardly any friends. CNN, The Washington Post, The New York Times and Hollywood couldn’t warm to the volcanic personality of the new president. Even an unbroken Twitter assault has no chance against such a monolithic wall of media rejection…

Opponent No. 3: The Political Party System. Washington is having an allergic reaction to Trump. Democrats and even Republicans are cooperating on Capitol Hill to investigate the Trump team’s contacts to Russia in a special committee. House Speaker Paul Ryan doesn’t see himself as a Trump follower but as a Trump successor. He is the wolf in sheep’s clothing, biding his time, waiting for an opening. Put another way: Not only Democrats are hoping for an impeachment proceeding.

At this time, no one can know for sure what the future holds or how any prospective dominoes may fall.

Can Trump transition the American economy away from Obama’s widespread economic devastation and $20 trillion national debt and back towards real prosperity?  Or, will the elite bankers behind the Federal Reserve pull the plug in order to collapse the U.S. Dollar, thus, creating an inflationary national nightmare so they can blame Trump by default?  Indeed, should a financial crash happen, it will serve as fertilizer to Trump’s already burgeoning toxic crop of invading corpse flowers in the allegorical weed-infested garden of a dying nation.

Whether or not Trump’s political movement and momentum will inspire renewed prosperity or fail to turn the Titanic ship of state (SOS), either way, many of his “political opponents” have already transitioned into “wartime enemies”.

Sun Tzu, in his 5th century BC military treatise, “The Art of War”, proclaimed the importance of understanding one’s enemies.

If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.

Vitriolic vehemence is growing within the United States. This means, in the near future, people may need to choose sides during certain circumstances.  For those who are unsure how they feel about Trump’s vision to put America first, you might question whether Trump is your friend or foe.  So, with that in mind, here are just a few ways how to take inventory of where you stand regarding the current President of the United States, and his deplorable supporters:

If you believe the mainstream media is NOT the primary source of “fake news” in America today, then you are the enemy.

If you believe Trump’s inauguration speech was “bleak”, “combative”, “militant”, “dark” or as having “anti-Semitic overtones”, then you are the enemy.

If you propagate lies in order to perpetuate a political agenda under guise of impartiality, then you are the enemy.

If you have the raging desire to physically assault someone walking on the street simply because they are wearing a Trump hat, then you are the enemy.

If you believe the Russians “hacked” the 2016 presidential election, or that Trump is not a “legitimate” president, then you are the enemy.

If you march in the streets because Trump is a misogynist, but believe Bill Clinton is not, then you are the enemy.

If you believe Trump made fun of a handicapped reporter during the election, then you are the enemy.

If you propose that Barron Trump might be autistic, or Tweet that he will be the country’s first homeschool shooter, or say that he is a date rapist to be, then you are the enemy.

If you can’t sit by a Trump supporter on an airplane, or, lack the balls to tell your wife to “shut up”, then you are the enemy.

Since the election of Donald Trump, if you have “thought an awful lot about blowing up the White House”, then you are the enemy.

If you say that President Trump has wet dreams about his own daughter, then you are the enemy.

If, under the guise of a political protest, you take to the streets causing violence and property damage, then you are the enemy.

If you are more concerned about Trump’s inaugural crowd size instead of the “devastation and destruction in our schools, with our health care, in our economy, and with our small business owners”, then you are the enemy.

If you believe with absolute certainty that mankind is causing climate change, or if you are concerned regarding “the Disturbed Psychological Mindset Driving President Trump’s Climate Change Policies”, then you are the enemy.

If you believe that Barack Hussein Obama was a good president, then you are the enemy.

If you esteem Hillary Clinton’s vagina more than her honesty, then you are the enemy.

If you value your own “welfare” more than your country, then you are the enemy.

If you refuse to acknowledge, identify or speak the words “Islamic Terrorism” or “Islamic Extremism”, then you are the enemy.

If you consider the phrase “black lives matter” to be just and fair, but the phrase “all lives matter” to be intolerant and racist, then you are the enemy.

If you believe that little children should be subjected to the dangers of “gender neutral” bathrooms, then you are the enemy.

If you believe in prosecuting hate speech and encourage “safe spaces” to protect students from free speech on college campuses, then you are the enemy.

If you believe Donald Trump is a bigot, a racist, or a xenophobe, then you are the enemy.

And whether a child is born in the urban sprawl of Detroit or the windswept plains of Nebraska, they look up at the same night sky, they fill their heart with the same dreams, and they are infused with the breath of life by the same almighty creator. So to all Americans, in every city near and far, small and large, from mountain to mountain, from ocean to ocean, hear these words. You will never be ignored again. Your voice, your hopes, and your dreams will define our American destiny, and your courage and goodness and love will forever guide us along the way.

Donald J. Trump, Inaugural Address, January 20, 2017

If, when discussing your political opponents, you use terms like “white privilege”, “toxic masculinity”, “Islamaphobia”, “xenophobia” or “homophobia”, then you are the enemy.

If you value the skin color of Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton and Barack Obama over the character and integrity of Dr. Ben Carson or Supreme Court Justice, Clarence Thomas, then you are the enemy.

If you either subsidize, or receive payment for, protesting in the streets of America, then you are the enemy.

If you support people from foreign countries invading America illegally, then you are the enemy.

If you believe the United States Constitution and the Bill of Rights to be antiquated documents written by old, white slave-owners in order to infringe on your modern natural rights, then you are the enemy.

If you believe only celebrities, politicians, the government, the rich, the powerful, law enforcement and the military deserve protection under the Second Amendment, then you are the enemy.

If your politics result in the sacrifice of American workers upon the altar of globalism, then you are the enemy.

If you are an individual, corporation or government agency illegally surveilling American citizens in violation of their Fourth Amendment rights, then you are the enemy.

If you are a politician, member of the military, employed by a government alphabet soup agency or working in law enforcement while playing politics and abnegating your oath to the U.S. Constitution, then you are the enemy.

If you are a politician who lies to get elected, or one who earns false respect, seeks illicit favors and accepts unearned wealth by giving away other people’s money while accepting bribes, then you are the enemy.

Together, we will make America strong again. We will make America wealthy again. We will make America proud when it. We will make America safe again, and yes, together we will make America great again. Thank you. God bless you. And god bless America. Thank you.

Donald J. Trump, Inaugural Address, January 20, 2017

In America today, instead of engaging in the peaceful participation of ideation and the vigorous contemplation and debate of ideology, we are experiencing the descent into tribal warfare, identity politics, ad hominem attacks, lawlessness, anarchy, and chaos.  At this moment in history, words are once again being replaced with bricks, rocks, hammers, colored flags and fire.  Unless the current trajectory changes, these will soon give way to bullets and bombs.

American patriots might soon replace their MAGA hats with makeshift helmets and battle armor to wage all-out war against left-wing nihilists and a heavily armed Deep State in a Second American Civil War that is currently underway.

History rhymes and the past has already foretold of the forthcoming chaotic times. Just like in a garden of seeds, weeds, and flowers; the passing of time will produce a yield from the same elements that have always been.  Just like the Revolutionary War, except today, it is the political establishment and global financial elite, acting as an entitled monarchy.  Just like the First American Civil War, but instead of North versus South, it is now “urban” versus “rural” and lawless anarchists challenging those with Common Sense and decency. And, just like Germany during the 1930s, except today, the leftist Brownshirts have chosen to wear black instead.

War is here. The battles have begun. No quarter was asked.  None will be given.

Good article. If you stand against trump you stand against: 1. Secure national borders; 2. the supreme obligation of the U.S. government to put the welfare of Americans above the citizens of any other country; 3. the obligation of the the government to be financially responsible. How ridiculous it is to oppose any of these ideas.

I agree with a lot of it but what was totally missed was the people that control the money of the world Goldman Sachs & Company are in his cabinet you cannot win anything by having the people that control the money of the world in your cabinet unless these Goldman Sachs people are like Eric Snowden and now the inside workings of Goldman Sachs possibly spies and will bring down the world globalist money Empire

I’m not sure who said it, but it goes like this, “You will never defeat a free man the most you can do is kill him!” Well I believe the gauntlet has been thrown down by the left and open warfare is at hand. They want it badly because they know their policies have failed and the freedom loving Americans have pulled their mask off and exposed them for what they are. It would have been an accelerated death of freedom if Hillary had won, now the battle lines are drawn and we plainly see and understand the enemy. The most that the enemy can now do is “kill us”, because they can never “defeat us”!

I may sound like a broken record, but once more I have to give Napolean his due-

“Never interrupt your enemy when he is making a mistake.”

The more they keep this up the more they weaken their own position, so by all means, encourage them, lift them up, tell them to double down and do it again. Protest, march, screech, smash windows, torch trash cans, strip naked or dress like a sex organ-whatever they think they ought to do to demonstrate how tolerant and progressive they are, please, please keep it up.

But I don’t want it “trendy”, trends come and go. I want it to be “necessary”, as in you’re either conservative or you have little chance of survival – primarily due to the company the liberals want to keep, such as thugs, Islamic terrorists, FSA, etc.

Neither side is taking seriously the resource and environmental issues we are facing.

The approach you rightly call “necessary”, james, is not one I am really seeing from anybody. They all just promise “moar”.. shades of GWB’s “growing the pie higher.”

The pie is a lie.

Actually, the cake is a lie; you can always bake a bigger pie, up until you hit the limits of your oven.
“Neither side is taking seriously the resource and environmental issues we are facing.”
Many of these are not lies; you have to find a destination for every waste, emission and loss that you incur. The main problem, as usual, is a lack of imagination: gold ores that were once uneconomical are now routine, as are other resources. If you can mine gold at an ounce a ton and make a profit, why can’t you mine pollution at some concentration that’s minimal and recycle the elements for a profit?
But then, a lot of time and effort and mental energy has been wasted on AGW / climate change; a fraud to line partisan scientists’ pockets. It’s hard to make a case for real environmental issues (like China has) when you’ve already been lied to by “scientists” on the government teat, and bogus data and bogus “consensus” and ….
Now that Trump has frozen most government hiring, begun reducing regulations and regulators and opened up a number of forbidden topics like the Wall, the limit on Islamic immigration, the replacement of the State Department leadership and so on, maybe the pie might actually grow for a change!

I have been saying exactly this for quite a long time. We are at war. The anti-Trump fanatics are NOT your fellow Americans. They are the Domestic Enemy explicitly cited in our Constitution. The Enemy will try to take down Trump, like they took down the feckless and bumbling Nixon. If they try he will fight back, and not just with words. Prepare yourselves to fight in the streets. And as this author said, there will be no mercy for the other side – or for us, if we lose. Everyone will be forced to take sides. Don´t fool yourself into thinking you can sit this one out.

I have had this feeling for some time. This is why several of my essays (both before and after Trump’s election) have ended with ominous lines like:

“this can end with only one of two possible outcomes”

and,

“Will liberty be resurrected? Or tyranny? There is no middle ground.”

etc,

For this one, I was inspired by a TBP comment made by Rob in Nova Scotia (RiNS) on the Trump inaugural live feed post. He wrote:

RiNS says:
January 20, 2017 at 12:10 pm

Speech makes me think of the following phrase.

No quarter asked, none given…

I had heard the quote before, but when I read that particular comment in the context of Trump’s speech just as he was speaking to the nation during his first address as president, it really resonated. I kept thinking about it the past few days, and well, the above ended up being the result.

It just shows how even a passing comment on an internet thread can remind and/or inspire. Whether you call it “ripples in the pond” or “The Butterfly Effect”, it’s happening all the time. For good, or bad. For better, or worse. I’ve said it before, I’ll say it again: Sometimes there are no answers, only choices.

I don’t even know where to begin. Pigeon holing everyone who doesn’t fit neatly into your criteria of “the enemy” is fanatical, polarizing, and down right ignant! How can you profess to be better than the libtards who do the same thing by name calling Trump supporters the “deplorables” …A bunch of misguided patriots to say the least. You guys really believe we live in a Constitutional Republic yet talk about the Deep State and the Constitution without fully comprehending the true nature of the system we live in; particularly the UCC Universal Commercial Code and maritime/admiralty law (the law of the high seas) which dominates our institutional decisions; not the Constitution!
But Don’t worry President El Douche will fix everything! If fix everything means playing the role of a good nationalist and continuing the global narrative of devaluing the dollar, and splintering parts of the U.S. over the next 4-8 years eerily similar to what transpired after the fall of the Soviet Union with many of the former soviet states attempting to gain sovereignty and eventually being gobbled up by NATO!
Trumps appointed General MAD Dog Mattis recently confirmed the U.S.’s “unshakeable” commitment to NATO! So I can play the role of nationalist and yet still honor the international organization that will be used to bring the world that much closer to WWIII!
Again, all part of the narrative being peddled to the Goyim!
A bunch of useful, well-intentioned, gullible idiots!
Pick a side! I pick the side of TRUTH! TRUTH always is the best medicine!

The elite globalists are nothing more than pragmatists. They don’t care how they get what they feel they are entitled! Remember what George Carlin said, “its a big club and you ain’t in it…We know what they want, more for them and less for everyone else!”
The trick is to make the victims think they are winning! HAHAHA

It would be easy for me to join the dogpile of you platoplubius but I do admit to agreeing with you. To a point. The problem is we are being presented with a choice that is binary. As a consequence the solutions are extreme, polarizing and less reliant on the truth.

It is not often in history that the road forks and the difference is obvious. It could be that Trump is being peddled to once again deceive, as you put, the Goyim. Time will tell. Although some have, it does seem premature for anyone to declare victory.

All this talk from and about Trump ignores that he was selected by the same people that proffered Hillary as his alternative. He is President because psychopathic mass murderers wanted him president. I bet most of these self-professed American patriots have not learned that there are multiple “legal” definitions for the term “United States” of America. Three to be exact!

Here is a thorough analysis of the crux of the argument that WE ALL must understand in order to see through the vale of deception that has been hiding the TRUTH about our current state of affairs.

Beware. A corporate govt nationalist (obummer was globalist govt corporatist) who rules by executive order…bypassing the balance of power the founders wanted, will end, maybe this, the next or next preznut, with a dictator as each president has expanded the power of the oval office by use of a pen.

TPP needed to go. Agree with that. Building expensive walls? What of the northern border? What of coastlines?

An authoritarian who has walled you in will become your warden.

To long the idealic lifestyle America became soft and pudgy ! The men gave in to weakness and the women gave up looking for good men of honor . Politicians sold the families still attempting to stand independently strong out to special interests who’s only desire is to reap a reward from others hard work ! This includes business people hiring illegals or offering unfair wages for work to be done and investors canibalising American industry for a profit from the sweat equity of hard working women and men left holding the bag ! Trump witnessed what was going on and could no longer stomach it ! What really shocks the left is the fact, President Trump is doing what he promised the American people . I will pray for his success , I am worn down by health but not broken in spirit and hope for I have young adult children and will not exit this world without doing what I can to preserve their futures !

The enemy is so sick it needs to be put out of its misery. Watch this 2 minute video of a confrontation between black trump supporter (‘youre making black people look bad’) and the effeminate wimpy liberals. Listen to the weak whiny voice of the men and wonder how they could do anything but piss their pants if push comes to shove.

Watch the guys young son staring at the liberals t shirt with effectively porn he drew on it to worship the vagina and next to him the womans picture of another one they hold in front of the boys face until he cries. Also they want a tax to pay for tampons yet can afford to throw them at people they dont agree with here. Then one of these manginas calls it a piece of paper and not violence to throw that in his face in front of his son. These freaks are worse than useless, fuckem.

We have a civil war of violent nature will be our first, that last was a war of succession, just wanted to leave originally, not take over the govt.

The people have been fucked by the so call progressives and so called conservatives,i.e. uni party or what ever you call it.We the people allowed this to happen, really,is our own fault.I am not too into the blame game but if do play it start with a mirror, and then, what are you willing to do to change things?

I would say start with local govt. and work from there while keeping a eye on bigger nationwide picture, work locally with others with plan(S)for if things go completely haywire, decide how much freedom you are willing to lose before you just will do ANYTHING to fight back while hopefully not becoming the monster you hate.Oh,and try and enjoy the day and time you have!

Uncola,

I’m having a tough time with a response for this one.

You’re a great writer and this piece is well put together. I too agree that no quarter should be given, especially in the intellectual arena.

At this moment it is unclear as to what Trump’s relationship with the deep state is. I suspect he will own it. Time will tell that tale.

The ‘blackshirts’ are weak and without any moral high ground, their funding will soon be cut off. Soros is being hunted financially. Hungary is already talking about cracking down on the manner in which he funds NGO’s. This is just the beginning I suspect. The mainstream media will follow a similar demise over time as their viewership plummets and funding dwindles.

The left is being disenfranchised. It is our job to dog them, harass them and help them make themselves look foolish and inept (like Crowder did yesterday) but I believe in a short amount of time we will see that they no longer have the power they once did, and they certainly do not have the power to wage a war of any kind.

Their time is over.

I wonder – what will we build on the rubble of their failed ideology?

In spite of the fiction I have been writing lately I believe we are entering a time of opportunity. Not just financially but socially and politically as well. People like you have the power to influence our world with your words.

The only question is – what do you want that world to look like?

Respectfully,
Francis

Francis,

It’s funny because I’m having a tough time, as well, writing a response to your comment above. There is a lot to process there. Enough, perhaps, to put together 10,000 words. Instead, I am going to go with the following that will be less than 1,000.

When you say people like me “have the power to influence our world” with my words and then ask what I “want the world to look like”, I would first need to have a positive vision and then I would need to implement persuasion.

In all sincerity, I don’t know if I am there yet. I am still very much a work in progress. One of my strengths, however, is the ability to strategically run the “chess” moves, and counter moves, through the end of the game for most scenarios. Through the years, the computations and formulas in my head kept adding up to a future far more pessimistic than even your “City of the Dead” fiction (so far). This actually caused me to fall into a state of despair of which I am only now beginning to put behind me.

I do agree with you regarding the uncertainty of Trump’s relationship with the deep state. Only time will make this clear. For now, I have hope. And, I do believe most of my posts have some elements of truthful persuasion regarding Trump, especially his positions on immigration and trade. In fact, as I write any of my essays, I try to keep in mind those who are currently “asleep”. On my own blog, I get lots of Facebook and Twitter hits (even though I am not set up for “shares”) and my essays have been read in 52 nations of the world since September 2016.

I don’t know about you but, an idea comes to mind and the words flow through me. Once I release it in the form of a post, I don’t feel it’s mine any longer, but I am gratified when others might agree with the content because it helps me realize I am not alone. Other than that, I have nothing to sell. I just report on what I see and what I think I know at any given time.

What do I want the world to look like? Personally, I am a fan of Norman Rockwell. I see truth in his paintings and they move me in nostalgic and sentimental ways. However, if my skin had more melanin and I grew up on Chicago’s Southside, or the 30 Blocks of Squalor in Philly or in Kandahar, but currently living in Detroit, I would probably feel differently.

At times I think the “Dilbert” cartoonist and blogger, Scott Adams, is right and we really do view the world in the context of “movies in our minds”. This may be the heart of the issue. When referring to those who are not like-minded, what you might see as the “rubble of their failed ideology”, I tend to see as “craziness, deeply embedded” and growing stronger.

It truly is a numbers game. In my view, the “Religion of Moonbatery” is exponentially propagating:

Hillary Clinton won the popular vote in America. Now California is trying to secede. I am of the opinion that Trump will only be fuel for the fire and, after an inevitable financial crash, or any number of black swans, the center will not hold. By 2025, I predict America will be balkanized into separate regions. Actually, a civil war would benefit the globalists because they want America divided so she will fall.

Just as a virus overtakes an entire population, so does a little leaven make bread. Like Admin has stated before, “the demographics aren’t there”. Too much debt. Too much materialism. Too much greed. Too much apathy. Too much gluttony in all its ugly shapes and forms.

I want to write about many topics: Subjects ranging from the UFO deception to a comparison/contrast of George Orwell’s and Aldous Huxley’s visions of their future and our present. For now, Huxley was right. In 1932 people thought “Brave New World” was a peculiar little book overly obsessed with immorality, drugs, and sex. Now we can just turn on the TV and watch “Shameless” on Netflix, which is simply a toned-down version of reality in our modern world.

I can’t stop what has been decades in the making. Trump won’t be able to stop it either. I want to be wrong. But I don’t think so. Either way, I hope to write about what I see (and feel) right up to the point the hater’s crash through my front door and I go out in a blaze of glory or, get put on the rack.

In the meantime, I will get my own house in order. Like I said above, I am still working through my own malfunctions as I enjoy each moment of every day. Over the past several months, I have been trying to engage in self-examination as opposed to self-absorption, stay humble and be brutally honest.

America will never be destroyed from the outside. If we falter and lose our freedoms, it will be because we destroyed ourselves.

Abraham Lincoln

Uncola,

I think you and I and most people on this board have traveled the same road philosophically on many occasions. I’ve spent the last decade waiting for a collapse to happen and while I believe that history does run in a series of cycles much like Strauss & Howe’s theory lays out for us, a fourth turning does not necessarily have to end in bloodshed or collapse.

My thought is that while change or flux is inevitable that it is not always negative either.

Financially, it could be that Trump’s purpose is to halt the bleeding and restructure the debt in concert with those at the top of the financial pyramid (not just to simply bring jobs back – although this is an important part of the equation). Time will reveal more on this front as we go forward.

Socially things will change. The radicals on either side, constantly pushing for conflict, will be marginalized. The vast majority of people will find middle ground and come together to once again be “American”. This is already taking place as evidenced by Trump’s dealing with the big union reps a few days ago. Think about the social implications of that relationship and how in time it changes how we look at one another.

America’s biggest threats do come from internal sources. But just because they are there does not mean that they have to win. By calling them out and shining the light on them like we do here we begin the process of stripping their power from them.

Trump’s election in concert with writing from people like you could mark the first time in modern history that words and ballots won a war. Right now we are embroiled in a battle of words and ideas with the enemy. We are winning. The enemy is routed and bleeding even though it is still flailing about. And since we have the upper hand in both the intellectual and physical arena the only way we can lose is if we make the same mistakes they did.

The left is expecting people like us to punish them physically and to start a war so they can point their fingers and say “See! It’s their fault!”. We don’t need to engage them in this manner. Not while, as HSF has pointed out, they are so busy destroying themselves.

All good perspectives above and I wish to controvert nary a one, if, for no other reason than to avoid appearing as a raging doom porn pimp at this time.

There is a fine line between cautious optimism and under estimating one’s enemy.

In other words, I want the “comment section Francis” to be right and the “dystopian-fiction author extraordinaire Francis” to be in error.

At the same, just know I am a fan of both.

I hope the other side comes to the table. I really do. Or, maybe you are right and some already have, but I remain overly focused on the moonbats.

Revolutions are born either in diplomacy or blood. In time, we will know. Until then, I will pray for the former while continually preparing for latter.

I personally don’t espouse violence as the solution to any problem. Don’t even own a gun. While it is true that the left seems to be flailing about in self-immolation, their weakness makes our world dangerous.

This might surprise you but I agree. Great Change do present Great Opportunity.
In the world of facts and their alternatives I worry that the power of the word promoting a positive change will not win out over the forces arrayed and allied against it. The easy bits are,

Building a Wall.
Deporting the Illegals.
Banning the Muslims.

The rubber will only meet the road when Trump takes on entitlements. Welfare, SSI, Medicare, Unfunded Liabilities of every sort and description. I can’t see words mattering much when tens of millions are forcibly weaned off the Government Teat.

The Hood Rats, Baby Mommas, The Welfare Queens and the Congenitally Unemployed have to somehow be convinced that they need to work for a living to get by in this world. That will be a very tall glass of water to pour.

If that isn’t enough to contend with too many folks live just check to check. Their lack of preparation and contingency for a raining day is another danger. Right now even the threat of a snowstorm can send thousands into sheer panic. Couple a breakdown in Food Distribution Network with SNAP cards that haven’t been reloaded at first of month and the result is something that can be predicted with near 100% accuracy. Inner City Neighborhoods already “no go zones” will erupt in an orgy of violence that will be difficult to contain.

Now folks in countryside say the problems of the Inner Cities won’t reach their communities. This is complacency as the epidemic of Government Dependence brought on by 60 years of socialism, while maybe not as pervasive, is ever present there as well.
Hungry people will do desperate things. Words then won’t matter. Sure there will be some smart enough to plan but there is no point growing crops and raising livestock if those that don’t have can take what they want.

Then Scarecrows won’t protect crops as the Farmers will be forced to throw away the books and pick up a gun.

D. Horowitz’ new book, “Big Agenda” lays this out well in an understandable format. Uncola has independently done an admirable job of doing it in encapsulated form.

The “war” needn’t be of the shooting variety on a broad scale.

A mere splintering of racial voting blocks, especially the black monolith, would relegate the Dems to the back bench politically for decades. Their self-marginalization is a wonder to behold! Meanwhile, Trump has already expressed the thumbnail plan to splinter black solidarity with a freedom and economic liberty agenda.

This includes breaking the public teacher union monopoly, and propagandizing, of children (that pulls double duty), enforcing equal exposure of viewpoints on public university campuses by threats to federal funding, and limiting the unaccountable influence of large charitable trusts.

Trump has a very in-depth program of reform that will take out the underpinnings of the liberal intelligentsia’s power structure. Yet he’s doing it in ways where it doesn’t appear as a frontal assault, but genuine reform. He’s washing away the sand that supposedly supports their foundation, and when it gives, they won’t know what hit them.

I cannot emphasize enough that every single person, from all political perspectives and religious beliefs needs to binge watch the George Webb channel on youtube. His series on Eric Braverman and DynCorp is BEYOND eye opening. To me, he is disclosing information in the hopes that WE can apply pressure from the bottom up! This needs to happen!

A warning though! By merely clicking on his channel I fear you will be monitored. This is not paranoia. However, I feel that most TBPers are already on a list so what does it matter anyways!

This remark is for Uncola plus Jim Quinn. I am trying to suss out a sense of timing and severity of our current 4th turning.

I’d love for current conflict to be of the non-kinetic information war type, however I find this kind of scenario to be more wishful thinking.

A couple of folks with ties to the “liberty movement” that resonate with me are the boy-wonder Brandon Smith plus the quite smart and prescient Catherine Austin Fitts. Looks like Brandon Smith is calling for financial fallout within this year, and CAF says probability is that we’ll have big fallout “this year or next year.”

From the perspective of Strauss & Howe’s “Fourth Turning” —what is the shortest “winter” that we’ve been through in the past? I haven’t read their book, yet I have seen some folks discussing our 1860-1865 “Civil War” period as a short virulent winter that somehow seemed to negate any following “spring” / high / first turning season during the following years.

Did Strauss & Howe really propose our “Civil War winter” to be a contracted yet bloody period? How long per their writing & theory was that period? Did it start prior to 1860? How long did they say it lasted?

I could see the case for a “Civil War winter” back then to start at 1859 during the Harper’s Ferry incident, or even a couple years earlier during the Dredd Scott Supreme Court decision.

When do Strauss & Howe say that period ended? At the end of the Civil War? Sometime later during the “reconstruction/rehabilitation” of the South?

Again the case could be made that socio-economic/generational winter did not end til the 1870s some time… if you declare the period started in 1859 and went til 1878 there it would be a 19 year period —yet what’s the Strauss & Howe take on its start and end?

1859-1871 Civil War crisis era including post war “rehabilitation” —I could see this as a deep yet short winter/crisis of ~12 years.

Here’s my take on things: if we compare where we are now to a shortened winter period, we still have about 4 years to go to come out the other side. Somehow I think our current crisis period will last longer than just 4 more years— also there’s always the spectre of armed conflict that I don’t think we get to escape because somehow “this time is different.”

So what’s your take on the severity of our current winter crisis period, how the next few years will play out, & when do you think it will end?

Uncola
Uncola

I won’t speak for Admin – but you may want to check out his Fourth Turning library on this site’s lower sidebar (desktop) or near the bottom (scrolling on your mobile device).

According to Strauss & Howe, 4th Turnings are 15 – 25 years in duration. The Civil War is untypical because it began early and therefore skipped a “hero” generation.

The last 4th Turning began with the stock market crash in 1929 through post WW II & establishment of UN in 1945- 1946 = 16 – 17 years.

This current 4th Turning began with the banking crisis in 2008. The exact timing is anyone’s guess. However, it appears the election of Trump as a Grey Champion marks the beginning of the “Regenerency” phase of the crisis.

If your asking me, I believe we will see the financial meltdown / war / “black swan feces” hitting the proverbial “fan” in 2018. (It could happen later this year tho)

The “Peak” of the crisis generally occurs 5-6 years before the “Resolution” (end) and the start of the next 1st Turning.

My best guess would be to see the Peak hit around 2020 and the Resolution around 2025. However, it is possible the Peak won’t hit until 2025 and the Resolution until around 2030.

Round and round it goes. Where it lands, nobody knows (with 100% certainty, that is).

Hope that helps.
