This morning, the Daily Caller has provided new details, courtesy of former U.S. Attorney Joseph diGenova, suggesting that Rice specifically requested that the NSA provide her with “detailed spreadsheets of intercepted phone calls with unmasked Trump associates.”

“What was produced by the intelligence community at the request of Ms. Rice were detailed spreadsheets of intercepted phone calls with unmasked Trump associates in perfectly legal conversations with individuals,” diGenova told The Daily Caller News Foundation Investigative Group Monday.
“The overheard conversations involved no illegal activity by anybody of the Trump associates, or anyone they were speaking with,” diGenova said. “In short, the only apparent illegal activity was the unmasking of the people in the calls.”
Meanwhile, Retired Colonel James Waurishuk, an NSC veteran and former deputy director for intelligence at the U.S. Central Command, said that the level of coordination required to pull off such a massive spying operation is staggering and would have required numerous personnel from the White House, NSA, CIA, National Security Council, etc.
“The surveillance initially is the responsibility of the National Security Agency,” Waurishuk said. “They have to abide by this guidance when one of the other agencies says, ‘we’re looking at this particular person which we would like to unmask.’”
“The lawyers and counsel at the NSA surely would be talking to the lawyers and members of counsel at CIA, or at the National Security Council or at the Director of National Intelligence or at the FBI,” he said. “It’s unbelievable of the level and degree of the administration to look for information on Donald Trump and his associates, his campaign team and his transition team. This is really, really serious stuff.”
In other words, it’s growing increasingly unlikely that this operation was anything but a direct, targeted attempt of the Obama administration to utilize the full force of the U.S. intelligence apparatus to take down a political adversary.
As Michael Doran points out, if these alleged actions are proven to be accurate then several people within the Obama administration likely committed felonies.
Michael Doran, former NSC senior director, told TheDCNF Monday that “somebody blew a hole in the wall between national security secrets and partisan politics.” This “was a stream of information that was supposed to be hermetically sealed from politics and the Obama administration found a way to blow a hole in that wall.”
Doran charged that potential serious crimes were undertaken because “this is a leaking of signal intelligence.”
“That’s a felony,” he told TheDCNF. “And you can get 10 years for that. It is a tremendous abuse of the system. We’re not supposed to be monitoring American citizens. Bigger than the crime, is the breach of public trust.”
Waurishuk said he was most dismayed that “this is now using national intelligence assets and capabilities to spy on the elected, yet-to-be-seated president.”
“We’re looking at a potential constitutional crisis from the standpoint that we used an extremely strong capability that’s supposed to be used to safeguard and protect the country,” he said. “And we used it for political purposes by a sitting President. That takes on a new precedent.”
Of course, just because Obama used the NSA to try and take down Trump doesn’t mean that those allegations that he used the IRS to take out Romney supporters in 2012 were true….Scandal-free administration…

As evidence exposes the Obama White House was spying on Trump, mainstream media is desperate to cover this up, but most importantly, this is feeding into the forecast of our model that we are looking and the decline and fall. Government is simply not trustworthy and as we see this affair will prove legally to be no different from Watergate and the Nixon scandal except this one goes all the way to the top. We are one step closer to undermining the system, which is critical to the collapse in public confidence. Hillary Clinton told a crowd in San Francisco: “Resist. Insist. Persist. Enlist.” All the feedback I have been getting from the non-partisan observers confirm that the civil unrest is deliberately being orchestrated to prevent any reforms that Trump had promised. It is highly dangerous to engage such class warfare and I will be issuing a special report on this subject showing this is how the decline and fall always begins. George Soros is allegedly a lead funder in this movement. Even Hungary is trying to stop Soros who is funding what others allege are revolutions in Hungary and even Poland.
I warned that reliable sources were putting the leadership role on attempting to undermine Trump squarely on Valerie Jarrett. I further warned that Jarrett even moved in and was living with Obama turning his home into a political bunker to undermine the Trump Administration and feed civil unrest.
Now Bloomberg is reporting that evidence has surface proving that Susan Rice in the White House was the person unmasking the Trump names in the surveillance. Indeed, once you create such a system that you can be pretending to be concerned about terrorists and listen to Americans even distant from such incidents, the temptation is just too great to ignore. The unmasking of unidentified Americans in intelligence reports is within the scope of the job of a national security advisor. The real question is, others appear to have known who was who and this is perhaps why Obama changed the rule shortly before he left office to claim this was all legal.
The Atlantic reported on January 13th, 2017, “the Obama administration finalized new rules that allow the National Security Agency to share information it gleans from its vast international surveillance apparatus with the 16 other agencies that make up the U.S. intelligence community.” Because Obama changed the rules just before leaving, this provides cover to Rice receiving and sharing before any national security or privacy concerns were attached.
Rice SusanSusan Rice served as the 24th US National Security Adviser from 2013 to 2017. However, she was previously the ambassador to the United Nations. She also served on the staff of the National Security Council and was Assistant Secretary of State for African Affairs during President Bill Clinton’s second term. She was even considered to be Secretary of State upon Hillary leaving.
In has been going around behind the curtain for the past couple of days that Rice was the person who unmasked the Trump names. Rice requested the identities of U.S. persons in raw intelligence reports on dozens of occasions that connect to the Donald Trump transition and campaign. This story is just getting started. Rice reported those findings to Jarrett based upon standard protocol. The Democrats will have plenty of cover to defend these actions. They should be very careful, for whatever they have done and claim was legal, can also then be done to them.

CNN Rages Against ‘Susan Rice Bombshell’, Urges Viewers To Ignore Story

Since news broke Monday that the Obama Administration’s National Security Adviser, Susan Rice, directed the “unmasking” of NSA intercepts of Trump associates, CNN has raced to shoot down the blockbuster report.
CNN Tonight’s Don Lemon went so far as to announce he would ignore the news at all costs.
While interviewing a Democratic congressman, CNN’s Chris Cuomo claimed it was “demonstrably untrue” Rice sought surveillance of the Trump team, even as that’s exactly what yesterday’s reports prove.
Over the last 24 hours, the network has also repeatedly called on its chief national security correspondent, Jim Sciutto, to dismiss the reports as a non-story; Sciutto has even excused Rice claiming ignorance of the unmasking scandal two weeks ago, arguing Rice “wasn’t aware” what unmasking Rep. Devin Nunes (D-Calif.) was referring to.
And on Tuesday’s “New Day,” anchor Alisyn Camerota openly pleaded with Sen. John McCain to write-off the news as unimportant.
Last night, Lemon began “CNN Tonight” with an announcement that the Rice report a “fake scandal ginned up by right-wing media and Trump” that he would not be baited into justifying with coverage.
“On this program tonight, we will not insult your intelligence by pretending,” it’s legitimate, he said. “Nor will we aid and abet the people trying to misinform you, the American people, by creating a diversion. Not going to do it.”
Sciutto also claimed the story was “ginned up” to distract from Trump tweeting that the Trump Tower was “wiretapped,” when it was in fact communications were picked up through ordinary NSA surveillance.
“Again, to note by senior intelligence officials who work for both Democrats and Republicans, this appears to be a story, largely ginned up, partly as a distraction from this larger investigation,” Sciutto told Anderson Cooper, explaining that “someone close to Ambassador Rice” told him this type of unmasking is “not unusual.”
In another appearance, Sciutto even attempted to excuse Rice from claiming to have no knowledge of the unmasking she’s been caught orchestrating.
“From her perspective she didn’t know what specific unmasking Devin Nunes and others are talking about, in part because that is something she asks — or asked during the regular course of her work as national security adviser,” he said. “I do know from speaking to people yesterday close to her that she doesn’t know specifically what Devin Nunes and others are accusing her of when it comes to unmasking because that was something sets in the regular course of her job.”
And in yet another appearance, Sciutto also setup something of a strawman, arguing that the unmasking story is not important because “unmasking is not leaking.”
During an interview with Sen. John McCain, CNN’s Camerota plainly tried nudging the Arizona senator into dismissing the Rice bombshell:
CAMEROTA: “Okay, senator, I want to move on to other news of the day and that is, as you know, the Trump White House has talked about what they see or they say they see as a controversy of the former national security adviser Susan Rice unmasking a name, someone on team Trump, that was somehow caught up in some incidental collection of surveillance. They say that this is a controversy, it shows that she has done something wildly out of the bounds of normalcy. Is this business as usual for a national security adviser to ask for a name to be revealed, an American name, if she wants to know more or is this some sort of a controversy?”
McCAIN: “I think the circumstances indicate that there’s a possibility that that request could have been politically motivated. But we need to get to the bottom of it. As I’ve said, and I’ll probably say many more times because I’m kind of boring, this is a centipede. A shoe will drop every few days, the latest the meeting in Seychelles. This is a requirement, in my view, why we need a select committee in order to get through all this because there’s lots more shoes that will drop. I can’t make a judgment on what I just heard. She did have the authority to do it. What was the motivation for doing it, I think is the question.”
CAMEROTA: “What we’ve heard from the reporting, is that if she saw a masked name that said American number one had these conversations with Russians at the same time that President Obama had imposed sanctions, wouldn’t that arouse some curiosity on her part?”
McCAIN: “All I can say, Alisyn, is that I don’t know enough to reach a conclusion except to say this is another aspect of this multi-dimensional scandal.”
CNN were not alone in this effort to desperately cover up Rice’s misdeeds – just skim MSNBC or New York Times’ headlines – but CNN does seem the most vociferous in its defense of Rice. Here they are this morning…
Roughly translated: “That Susan Rice story is fake. We know this because Susan Rice’s friend says so.”
The pushback comes as Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) said on Monday that Rice should testify under oath to address multiple reports she had unmasked the identities of Americans associated with the Trump campaign and transition team.
So the major media does not want to report the Susan Rice expose? Well, Hillary Clinton’s live campaign ended on November 8th, but her zombie campaign staggers on. It looks like Rice was using her office and the vast agency intelligence resources for opposition research for the Hillary Clinton campaign. Would she have done that for Bernie Sanders? I think not. It implies a relationship with a Clinton going back years.
Why would BHO give Hillary Clinton such a carte blanche to allow her to appropriate these resources and by extension incite Susan Rice or a confederate to break the law by leaking the reports? It presents as if he were working for her, not the other way around. If BHO was indeed coopted by HRC, it questions what she had and why she would want to have it or use it in the first place. These contemplations may hazard the cause of the safe preservation of one’s brains.
If the major media, the Democratic party and the previous administration are a monolith, my mind keeps going back to what Lawrence Summers told Elizabeth Warren: that insiders never speak ill of other insiders. Much that is evil can be justified in that mindset, and the premise is wrong. Government can not survive perpetual, blanket opposition between insiders and outsiders. Elections are a necessary feature of this life, but after a reasonable period to campaign it is time to put away the bunting and do the ordinary work of governing with full participation. I don’t know where this idea that party comes first came from, but it is wrong and should be discarded as we unfold this sordid spying scandal.

Let me see if I have this straight. Around the time of the 2012 election, the administration used the IRS to go after conservative groups. For the 2016 election, the security agencies were tapped the political purposes of spying on the opposing party’s candidate.

Once Trump was elected, Obama had a real problem: someone who was vocal and determined to “undo his legacy” was going to succeed him. All that Obama had worked and schemed for during his eight years was in danger of being reversed or eliminated.
Something had to be done. Something was done. Obama saw that Hillary was the best chance for his “legacy” to survive, since she could claim the election was stolen, that Trump was a Russian tool, and that she was the “rightful heir”. Never mind her campaign manager being a pedophile; never mind her organization was corrupt, incompetent and leaky as a sieve. She was the only option.
He let his minions spy on Trump between the election and inauguration; he covered for them by those last-minute intelligence-sharing rules changes. Lackeys in the press and on the Hill spread the false charges about Russia, leaked names like Flynn, released details from intelligence documents. The “resistance” was on, live!
But holes kept coming: the various intelligence agencies had some Trump fans as well, so those who leaked were eventually identified. Those who opposed Trump showed their hands, like the assistant Sec of Defense who spilled the beans on live TV (hard to ignore that!). And finally, this leak from insiders at NYT and Bloomberg, who showed that the MSM WOULD SIT ON A STORY UNFAVORABLE TO OBAMA rather than inform the public. Then CNN DEMANDED that we ignore the reports that showed what Team Obama did to spy on a political opponent and break intelligence filters to identify his staff BY NAME.
TREASON is what this is: working to subvert an elected President and his administration for political purposes. HANGING is what it deserves.
