Kings of a Tropical Island

by The Subway Philosopher TM

What was your (male) day like today?

Now imagine your same self on a tropical island as yet undiscovered by civilization.

“Waking with the sun, I went to the boat and dived for clams and oysters. When I got home, I ate, slept for a while, and then we played with the kids. After dinner, beer, and the visits to the women’s huts. ”

– – Notes From a Matriarchy.

If you’re wondering about our social trajectory, wonder no more, and if you’re wondering why there’s no organized male resistance, it’s because we’re not sure we won’t like it that way. What’s not to like?

Corporatized civilization hasn’t exactly left people free, any more than the socialized, communized or other versions. If there’s one thing we can learn from history however, it’s that government of any kind, be it warlords or democracy, always devolves to its true nature – the few ruling and exploiting the many through a monopoly on coercion and violence.

‘Advanced’ forms of government are simply better at masking the slavery of ordinary people, but the basic model is the same, despite the veneer of ‘doing good.’ In fact, I’d suggest that the urge to do good has been the backbone of much violence and evil in the world.

Imagine a primitive society on a sun-drenched tropical island. Rain falls frequently, so fresh water is abundant. It’s always warm, so there’s no need for clothing or a textiles industry or cotton plantations. The seas around the island teem with life, from mussels to whales, and the island’s native plants are both edible and nutritious, requiring only minimal agricultural skills. What’s left to do besides building the odd canoe or erecting shelter for a woman when she needs it?

Colonizing such a place would be a fool’s errand, but it is the nature of western civilization that the interaction proceeds in two ways – the island and its people are exploited by criminal elements, and they are exploited by do-gooders seeking to bring the benefits of civilization to a place which doesn’t really need or want them. The usual pattern is that both happen simultaneously under color of law.

A feminist acquaintance argued recently that matriarchies aren’t generally successful because they haven’t been tried often enough, a classic example of female logic. In truth, female-dominated societies offer little incentive for development in any field of endeavor (perforce the domain of men), and thus are easily overrun by male-dominated organizations, be they buccaneers, missionaries or the armed vanguards of democratic capitalism. If matriarchies offered a successful model for civilization, we’d have seen many more of them.

One’s definition of ‘successful ‘of course determines how the matter is viewed. Is a society unsuccessful because its men spend their lives fishing, playing with the kids, drinking beer and having sex with whichever woman fancies them?

Do we really need traffic jams, air-conditioning, cubicles, bureaucrats, yachts, forced labor (what do you think taxes and government money are for), libraries, war, McMansions, drug laws, geopolitics, pop-tarts, divorce courts (forced labor for men only), Amazon, license plate readers and Starbucks?

One certainty prevails in today’s confused world – the alienation of men from family and children has removed a major incentive for ordinary males to build, create, produce. Destroying the lives and careers of men who deviate even slightly from the PC feminist narrative is having a similar effect. Blocking men from numerous career fields on the basis of gender leaves them with fewer opportunities to contribute. That’s a matriarchy in all but name.

Let’s not forget the current fashion – crucifying every man who’s ever been accused of making a pass at anyone. I’m still waiting for just one of the ‘victims’ to mention that she was delighted to prostitute herself for fame, fortune and a taste (pun intended) of power.

Japan is infamous for its ‘grass-eater’ males, while young Western men are becoming equally so for living in their parents’ basements playing video games. Matriarchy alert!

Nothing can stop an idea whose time has come, and so it’s time for men to relax, go fishing, and drink beer. But avoid the ladies until family courts collapse.

Sounds like you’re talking about Africa and we’d all be niggers in a couple generations.

Sorry but my “white” mind doesn’t relish the thought of lounging about all day, eating food I pretty much had not much to do with, getting a killer tan and banging my woman or women, whatever.

I know there are millions of people that are locked away in some cubicle, grinding away and pretty fearful of losing their job. That has never been my case. I never had a job other then when I was a teenager and few part time gigs lately, mostly to fill in some creative writer’s block kind of crap.

If I was on that island, I’m building some kind of boat and beating feet.

It’s been said here before and so I will say it again. The reason women won’t ever rule the world is because they have no balls and they can’t get along with each other. It also doesn’t help that when God cut off the dick the brains slipped out.

‘Do we really need … air-conditioning..?’
Life on your mythical tropical island would be much more agreeable with it than without. Certainly the women would appreciate it if their hut was air-conditioned…
I live in the tropics (12 degrees south) and I can tell you air-conditioning isn’t a luxury but a necessity.
