There are few things in life I enjoy as much as watching my ideological enemies circle the wagons and in the heat of the moment run over their own brethren/sisteren/otherkins.
Even I don’t think there’s anything wrong with a guy trying to kiss a pretty girl- hey, that’s life. If she doesn’t want him to kiss her, it’s not that hard to turn your head and say goodnight, what’s the big deal? Has that ever not happened to anyone ever? But I am not in charge of the Neo-Puritans of the left and their ever changing standards, I just watch them dance on the heads a million pins trying to keep up with the music that the DJ be sketchin’.
This one gets me though. Womynz supposed to be in it together, but naw, dawg, not when they silver-maned brony be the target. Here are the same unattractive, butch cut wearing femmes who headed for the fainting couches when Trump said he could grab it, now spinning on their moral axis saying that the bitch be all cray-cray accusing they pimp Tommy Brokaw of unwanted advances. I thought no meant no? Whatever happened to the #MeToo solidarity of the day before yesterday? I guess that meant as much as anything else they’ve ever said, bupkus.
The downfall of the left appears apocalyptic. All I can hear is the rending of garments and gnashing of teeth and it sounds sweet.

Mika Brzezinski Joins Rachel Maddow And Others In Letter Supporting Tom Brokaw
UPDATED: MSNBC’s Mika Brzezinski’s has added her name to the more than 60 women who signed a letter supporting NBC News veteran Tom Brokaw after sexual harassment allegations against him were published by Washington Post and Variety.
The Morning Joe co-host joined Rachel Maddow, Andrea Mitchell, and more than 60 other women who currently or formerly worked at NBC News, who have put their names on the document.
The carefully crafted letter begins by saying that “as professional women, we fully endorse the conversation around abuse of power in the workplace. In the context of that conversation, we would like to share our perspectives on working with Tom Brokaw.”
Brokaw, the letter says, “has treated each of us with fairness and respect. He has given each of us opportunities for advancement and championed our successes throughout our careers” and that they “know him to be a man of tremendous decency and integrity.”
The testimonial was made public one day after Washington Post and Variety published allegations of former NBC News staffer Linda Vester that Brokaw sexually harassed her in the 1990s.
Here’s the letter:
As professional women, we fully endorse the conversation around abuse of power in the workplace. In the context of that conversation, we would like to share our perspectives on working with Tom Brokaw.
We are current and former colleagues of Tom’s, who have worked with him over a period spanning four decades. We are producers, correspondents, anchors, directors, executives, researchers, personal assistants, editors and technical staff.
Tom has treated each of us with fairness and respect. He has given each of us opportunities for advancement and championed our successes throughout our careers. As we have advanced across industries — news, publishing, law, business and government — Tom has been a valued source of counsel and support. We know him to be a man of tremendous decency and integrity.

Not entirely relevant, but what’s the deal with speech-impedimented people becoming Top New Announcers. Once upon a time, broadcasters were encouraged to have perfect diction, preferably homogenized and free from dialect.
Yet a huge percentage recently (25-30% or more?) to my ear, have speech issues. Brokaw, Baba Wawa.. NPR critters… I thought it might be the US, but when I lived abroad I found it to be the same proportion: a large number of people poorly able to speak the native language were nonetheless promoted into extremely-high-paying and prominent spokesjobs.
The analogy would be having amputees in the NFL.
I really don’t get it.
Chubby, you are deluded but it ain’t your fault. I think Brokaw like Carson, has the Midwestern accent which is kinda flat. TV convinced folks that a bland diet of cereal and hokey sitcoms (Mr. Ed, Green Acres, etc.) were the way to Nirvana.
Likewise, newscasters had to sound generic. Saturday Night Live woke us up from that slumber as we discovered that people actually talk and sound normal outside of our little circle of acquaintances.
