TOWER OF BABBLE

Guest Post by Maggie

Hey, TBP readers. I’ve followed Ann for years, increasingly awed with her devotion to the Catholic church in spite of her obvious awareness of continued wrongdoing at its highest echelons of power. This business with the current Popetart (like that one?) being the forerunner to Satan, but NOT the AntiChrist (she calls him AntiPope) is a bit confusing to this old Baptist turned Methodist turned nondemonimational gal, but I certainly get politics in any organization. Power, power, abuse of others, and more power.

Unless constant reminders to be contrite and humble are exercised with due diligence. I don’t think there was much contrition or humbling going on in Pennsylvania and, apparently, not in the Vatican city, either. Just some strange premature deaths of a few complaining priests and lots of lost boys. And probably girls too. Let’s not forget those hideous nuns.

So, for whatever reason it is that Ann continues to believe the Catholic Way is the one and only WAY to the Father, I still admire her gumption, her grit and most of all, her integrity. Long ago I popped off an email to her in jest and finished with an invitation to park her van by our little pond here, should the tax man get too close to her river. She declined, but with an actually reply, which I found thrilling.

Which made me feel like an Ann Barnhardt groupie. I’ve continued to follow her blog and listen to her well-constructed podcasts occasionally, and came to realize that with Nick being “ex” Catholic and my having no shot at redemption (according to Ann’s interpretation, since I am previously divorced myself… all I can hope for is Nick to reconcile with his lesbian ex-wife, then maybe I can have a celibate life with my husband somewhere in the wings. Not sure where that leaves my son).

I cancelled my invite after that podcast on “how to return to the church after divorce.” So, our pond spot is now open for Stucky, should the need arise for him to get out of Jersey fast. But, please scroll through her blog and podcasts here for some really detailed information on both the sodomy issue and the status of the Popetart, who may or may not have been placed there by Satan Itself.

Important things are occurring in some of the most ivoried towers of this world. Sounds a bit like babble.

I am RC myself. I am always taken aback by the folks who preach the foolishness that our church is the “only way” and stuff like that.
I ask how can we be the one true church since just off the top of my head, there are these people called Antiochan Catholics who literally trace the beginning of their church to St. Peter’s house when he still lived there. Then there is the Ethiopian Orthodox Church which is 100 years older than the Roman church.
I believe there is a lot of the devil’s work involved with all these scandals and there are supposed studies which show this goes on with all denominations at the same or higher levels. Some here may delight in the supposed fact rabbis are the number one offenders, but still a distant second to school psychologists, counselors etc.
Anything involving God is going to attract the full attention of the fallen angels. That is a 100% certainty.

Thanks for the comment. I would like to tell my favorite Catlicker joke.

A devout Catholic is shown through the pearly gates into paradise, where she notices there are directional signs indicating various areas of lay interest which might help her determine where to spend her first days in eternity. It seems the choices are endless, as they should be.

She’s a little peeved because Peter is steering her toward one little door that says “Others” and the Saint isn’t being too saintly about letting her drag her feet. She refuses to go through the doorway without an explanation. After all, this is her arrival in freaking heaven.

“What’s the deal here?” she asks Pete.

“Look, it’s odd enough that you are here, but we really can’t risk the riot should any of the Baptists see there are Catholics up here.”

She opened the door and joined the kegger.

Three men die the same day and go to heaven, arriving at about the same time.

St. Pete appears jaded and tells the men “okay, okay, we have only one question for today, so let’s just get on with it…”

To the first guy he asks “So, tell me, how many times did you cheat on your wife?”
The guy stutters a bit and tells St. Peter “I fooled around a little, you know, I’d say about 20, but no more than that.
St. Peter replies: “well, for you, and by the way, did I mention that you smell a little like smoke…, for you, you get the shack, dirt floor, one lousy window, no heat, no water and an old cot with no mattress. And, if you wanna go anywhere, you’ll be using a moped.

The second guy steps forward and answers before having to be asked. “I cheated twice, that’s all, only twice”.
St Peter tells the man: “You get the nice brick ranch, hardwood floors, nice kitchen, all utilities free. And, you get a cook and a housemaid.
Oh yeah, and a Catholic, er, I mean a Cadillac to drive.

The third guy doesn’t budge. He’s sweating a little and is obviously scared.
St. Peter says: “Well bub, hows about you?”

The guy takes a faltering half-step forward and says: “I know you’re not going to believe me, but.but…”
St. Peter interrupts: “Well?, Go on.”

The third guy replies: “I never cheated, not once, ever. I never even thought about another woman.”

St. Peter tells the man: Well-well. You get the mansion. It’s a huge palatial place. Comes with about 75-90 servants, all gourmet meals. It has five full floors, indoor pool and bowling alley, ping pong etc. full theater, game room etc. two kitchens thirty bedrooms plus a grand master suite. Tennis, golf, horses, marina, airstrip… the works, it’s just too much to tell now kid.” “You get a fleet of cars and drivers.

About a week later the three men see each other at a road intersection. The 1st man was on the sidewalk gutter, the second man was driving the Caddy in the right lane. The third man was in his Rolls in the left lane being driven by a chauffeur and the man was sitting in the back crying his eyes out.

The first and second man were looking at the third guy and questioning “what are you complaining about, you got the best deal of the three of us?”.

The third man exclaimed: “I just saw my wife go by on a skateboard”.

“In the Convert’s Catechism of Catholic Doctrine, we read:

Q. Which is the Sabbath day?
A. Saturday is the Sabbath day.

Q. Why do we observe Sunday instead of Saturday?
A. We observe Sunday instead of Saturday because the Catholic Church, in the Council of Laodicea, (AD 336) transferred the solemnity from Saturday to Sunday….

Q. Why did the Catholic Church substitute Sunday for Saturday?
A. The Church substituted Sunday for Saturday, because Christ rose from the dead on a Sunday, and the Holy Ghost descended upon the Apostles on a Sunday.

Q. By what authority did the Church substitute Sunday for Saturday?
A. The Church substituted Sunday for Saturday by the plenitude of that divine power which Jesus Christ bestowed upon her!

The historical “divine right”concept … you know, the same concept guiding the legitimacy of monarchs who tended t0 exploitation and tyranny. It makes a good argument for keeping the Rabble in line – until the Rabble gets tired of being mistreated.

Aren’t you clever, seeing what I said?

Faith is a basic part of humanity. I took an anthropology course (cause I had to) and learned that no civilization has ever formed without some sort of belief in supernatural. And, then, government co-opts. In Rome, that perverse relationship has built a swamp beneath the house that Peter built, if he indeed built it.

People should read and decide for themselves, but when you discover that your friends who are currently practicing Catholics do not have a CLUE about any of the issues surrounding this mess, it is time to try to educate them.

Ann has some excellent articles and podcasts which might encourage some to do that. Or not. Just doing the best I can in a tough position.

Catholic men have become Derelict of Duty in the last few decades. I have not heard of one case of even one Catholic man beating the Hell out of one Catholic Father for molesting his son or daughter. Problems with queers are not common in Protestant Churches of the South (except for the few that actually advertise they have gone to Hell).

It occurs to me that the Q phenomenon may qualify for religion status. It is similar to the aid drops that begat the worship of planes. In this case, the drops have engendered a faith in Q prophesies. The anon’s faith is unshakable. Kind of ironic since a couple of believers at one time professed a deep skepticism of faith.

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

Aware that his disciples were grumbling about this, Jesus said to them, “Does this offend you? 62 Then what if you see the Son of Man ascend to where he was before! 63 The Spirit gives life; the flesh counts for nothing. The words I have spoken to you—they are full of the Spirit[e] and life. 64 Yet there are some of you who do not believe.” For Jesus had known from the beginning which of them did not believe and who would betray him. 65 He went on to say, “This is why I told you that no one can come to me unless the Father has enabled them.”

66 From this time many of his disciples turned back and no longer followed him.

67 “You do not want to leave too, do you?” Jesus asked the Twelve.

68 Simon Peter answered him, “Lord, to whom shall we go?

That’s the point of that lesson. Many became scandalized and left, giving up on a great promise. Only a few remained. The lesson is repeated in the story of the lepers. It seems like the faith of the Trumpeteers is stronger than the faith of some Catholics; Trumpeteers have remained faithful through scandal after scandal.

To be a real Catholic one must believe that their mass is a sacrifice on an alter, where the communion host is the literal flesh and blood of Christ. One must further believe that only a priest can perform this miracle (even one that likes the kids) and therefore any other communion received at any other denomination (excluding Orthodox Catholics) is just a meaningless ritz cracker.

Furthermore one must believe that the priest is indeed a middle man who absolves sins on God’s behalf, one can not shed his sins merely by being sorry for them.

Furthermore, because God is busy being God, one must believe that a dead saint can throw you a bone and do favors for you, getting God to sign off on your prayers.

Those who can stomach all of that are real Catholics, the rest, about 80% are Protestants who just don’t know it. And mostly liberal Protestants not conservative, bible adhering ones.

Well, first of all, it is an ‘altar’. Auto-correct is a bitch, eh? (1st part of para 1)

Para 2? See Matthew 18 and John 20, I think.

Para 3? That is a cultural thing, private revelation, if you will. It is not part of Scripture, is minimally recognized in the Tradition of the Church (whether RC, Byzantine, or Melkite [Antioch] rites).

Para 4? I could not agree with you more.

Okay, just married off a kid and back from that road trip for a few hours before heading off for another multi-day jaunt for a memorial service for a dear friend of forty-five years.

Bwwwaaaahhaaaa…

But seriously, why someone would put much faith into canon translated from Hebrew and Greek, into Latin, is beyond me. No wonder so much fuckery has occurred within organized religion from the time Adam first skidmarked his original fig leaf.

The “rock” was Peter’s confession. Not Peter. The Pope is just another dude and rosary beads are idols.

I guess we’re all responsible for whatever blows our hair back; but it’s been written that ignorance will be no excuse.

To the extent the church is founded upon and conformed to the ultimate truth and the cosmic order,it is the only way to salvation. I have been a follower of Ann Barnhardt for a long time. I am Roman Catholic and my reaction to some of the things she has said about what is going on in the church has been, “Well, we’ll see.” Unfortunately, we are seeing. I do not discuss Roman Catholicism with non-catholics. They know next to nothing about the church or it’s doctrines; how closely it is conformed to the truth or pretty much of anything else to do with it. There is no point in my discussing the church with them. If there is a point, let me know.

My own reaction to Francis has been and will continue to be, whether he is from Satan or from God, he has been sent to test the faithful. How do I know? Have you seen him do anything else? He lectures me and my people on why we should welcome aliens and enemies of the church into the seat of Christendom and says little about the abuse of children by the clergy. He refuses to condemn sodomy and says nothing about Ireland’s fall into abortion. At best he is a relic from the 60’s and 70’s. He has the physical features and the demeanor of an old Quaker woman.

Most people, including some Catholics, have the wrong idea about the papacy. They think Catholics can never criticize the pope or disagree with him. I am here to tell you, this is not the case. There always been a history of Christians criticizing the man who fills the office. Paul himself “…withstood Peter to his face.” Catherine of Siena , a saint and doctor of the church, criticized the pope of her day. The others are too numerous to mention. False submission is an excuse for moral cowardice…the sin of our age. My own observation…priests must be kept on a short leash.

If you want another view of catholicism, watch the film Doubt. If you are truly pozzed, your hero will be the sodomite, but if you watch it again you may begin to see that the true hero is Sister Aloysius, who swears that the doors of the church may close behind her and she be damned to hell but she will have the truth. There is no more profound a statement of what catholicism about.

2) Who gave Catholicism the authority to change sabbath to Sunday?

I appreciate your point of view. This submission to the blog was not meant to be either Anti-Christian nor Anti-Catholic. I admire Ann because I see a fervor in her eyes I saw in people I have known in my life who have complete and total faith that what they believe will hold them up.

Her faith has held her up this far, hasn’t it? There has been a time or two when mine kept me adrift if not aloft. However, none of this is about CAtholic versus Christian versus Jew versus New Age Freakshow Zealot. It is about the tendency of mankind to take advantage of those around who are weaker and who will pledge their sacred trust in an ideal, be it religion, ideal or even law in order to form a bond of community wherein they live. It is about those evil bastards prancing down the hallways of the Vatican looking at little boys and thinking they want to “hit” that and then, convincing those little boys what they are doing is an act of love for God.

So, yes, Ann is perhaps batshit crazy for a faith that may or may not be founded on a rock. But, at least she isn’t poking her fingers into baby’s orifices during baptism for a little thrill or whatever it is those evil faggot priests have done. May God have mercy on their souls? No. May God reign JUSTICE onto their testicles with tiny daggers of hot steel.

Now, the link to her blog is for people who want to really KNOW what Ann has been saying, as you point out, for years. And, so many of her podcasts/articles start with TOLDYA. For a long time, I thought I would never see these things uncovered as she suggested. Yet here we are.

People try to make this about religion versus spirituality. Yeah, whatever works for them to avoid the TRUTH. Evil men are fucking children and calling it good.

In the past few months, her supernerd dude who helps with the podcast and such, became a father. The child was brain dead, I believe, but living and loved. I haven’t followed, so don’t know if the child continues to live, but have said a few prayers for the little princess. She had a few photos of the little babe, cuddled and tubed and bruised and lovely. Just love me, the child seemed to say. I won’t be here long. Just love me.

While some might wonder why they would share the photos of such a private time, I think I can help. Even as you would do to that baby, so you do to Him. And that makes that tiny baby very much like God.

Ann, I am emailing a link to your email (never shoulda answered me!) and hope you will read this post and comment. I’m not sitting here dissing Catholics. At the end of my father-in-law’s life, I consulted with friends, got him a lovely rosary and learned a bit about the ritual prayers he seemed to want to return to after years of being out of practice. It made him very happy to hold that clutch of beads and crucifix in his hand and fiddle with the beads. I kept the rosary and still have parts of it…it finally broke and I lost most of the beads, but I just left them where they lay sometimes.

I called it letting Christ off the cross.

The photos of the baby touched me. I’d never seen so lovely a reminder of why being a woman able to create and produce a child is the most amazing thing in this world.

The church has a saying, “Give me your young until age six and they are mine forever.” They know that our characters are formed by age six. Thereafter, we may learn new skills and habits, but character after six doesn’t change.
I know. My father was a Catholic and even after being excommunicated for the unpardonable sin of marrying a Protestant, he remained gullible all his life.

Ann can be really interesting or extremely annoying depending on what she’s talking about that day. I skip most of her religious hoo haa and pay attention if it’s anything else. Lately it’s all been religious.

I would never assume she’s hellbound even though I disagree with her views fully understanding she would not say the same for me. I do have a better understanding of Catholic doctrine than most Catholics do.

Catholicism attracts persons who want to herd and are impressed with pageantry, rituals of men(a lot of homos). All of these religious groups err(Protestants too) in that they all succumb to the doctrines of men to some degree(a little leaven). Jesus called the religious leaders of His day a synagogue of Satan. They had already created an alternate version of worship which persists to this day based around the Talmud not the Torah. Catholicism has done a similar thing with the Gospel, poor Anne, so smart but unwise. Certainly some Catholics are saved, they seem holy but I wonder, Max Kolbe dies worshipping Mary, John Newman loved ritual.

St Peter is in the process of showing a Pope around heaven. He asks the Pope what he would like to see. The Pope asks if there is a library. “Of course, we have a library, like none other in the universe” St Pete says.
“May I go in there to peruse your collection?” asks the Pope
“Certainly, let me show you the way.”

Some time later a terrible scream comes from the library and they hear the tortured voice of the Pope saying “CELEBRATE! It says CELEBRATE! Not CELIBATE!”

It doesn’t make sense, does it? Your spiritual counselor concerning family matters is an unmarried dude who may or may NOT be celibate in truth rather than title.

A Baptist, a Lutheran and a Jew are traveling together in a car that careens over a cliff, killing them. They arrive simultaneously at the Pearly Gates. St. Peter says to the Baptist: “Baptists are down the hall in door 31. Be real quiet when you pass door 9”. To the Lutheran he says: “Lutherans are down the hall in door 19. Be real quiet when you pass door 9”. To the Jew he says: “Us Hebrews are down the hall in door 12. Be real quiet when you pass door 9”. The Jew asked why everyone had to be quiet when passing door 9. St. Peter replied: “Those are the Catholics. They think they are the only ones here”.

I think this was a good thread, Maggie. If you notice I didn’t tear down Ann’s faith at all. It’s admirable. Just a bit annoying to me since I heard all of that when I was in school. I’m just done with it.

I don’t tear it down. I admire her for it. However, I just wonder how she clings to the idea that the Catholic Way is the only Way.

But, as I said to a friend with whom I had the “rapture” disagreement… she was getting whisked out of here pre-Trib, while I was pretty sure I was hunkering down for the hard times: If you are right, I’ll admit it on the way out. If I am right, you come to my house for beans.

She died of breast cancer. Perhaps neither of us was right on that one.

I’m hoping Stucky will ready my prelude above and just peruse the titles of the links from Ann’s page I’ll paste here for his convenience.

What I hope to do is show people that even Catholic church members and the devoted (like Ann) seem to KNOW this shit is ongoing.

Why don’t they make it stop? For the same reason we can’t stop our CongressCritters until they die. We handed them the reins of power and they ain’t letting go. Until they die.

What does that say to you?

I’m hoping more folks will read/follow Ann a bit more because while she may seem batshit crazy, I don’t think she is. I have rescinded my invite to her to park her van by my pond. That spot is now reserved for you.

A most fascinating article I jumped to from her page…. the medium is the message.

She gets it. Do you?

http://wdtprs.com/blog/2013/09/attacks-on-archbp-nienstedt-reveal-a-deep-and-diabolical-and-successful-campaign/

There are two photos.
First, look at these two wonderful, elated happy “gay” men, husband and husband, in the rotunda of the Minnesota Capitol.

Aren’t they wonderful? Aren’t you happy for them? Look at the joy breaking through the pain!
And now, Archbishop Nienstedt from the same article.

Doesn’t he look mean? How stern! How cold!
What a meanie!
Marshall McLuhan pointed to the fact that the visual trumps all other media. The medium is the message.

I really think something big is happening here. I hope it is big in a good way, but if not?

I’m ready.

I’m afraid if a void opens up something much less desirable will temporarily fill the space. The “Great Falling Away” has been going on for years, but now it seems to have accelerated.
Maybe the Old Nuncio’s rebuke has given it a push over the edge and opens more eyes … and hopefully, he survives to see how it ends up. I’d sure like to.

We are given a description of the Last Days that features a different trinity: The Dragon (Satan), the Beast (democracy), and the False Prophet (perfect description of the MSM).

What this means is that, in the near future, the most insane, rabid, carnival barkers on the Left will soon regain power. Prepare accordingly. Nobody escapes End Times prophecy.

I am trying to figure out how the Tower of Babble ties in with the Ivory Towers of Academia, where social scientists (whatever those are) convinced a nation we needed less work and more analysis to make things work better.

More data. More data. More data. More analysis.

Half the CongressCritters are policy wonks like that Pelosi shrew, who can’t put together a decent thought without a survey.

I would like to write a post to accompany this, but in the current situation I find myself, can’t.

So, I will add this plea from Ann for others to share their stories and keep this in the news cycle longer than 36 hours.

My email just quit working after I emailed this link to Admin for the Tower of Babble post. I suppose it is not sinister, just coincidental, but still…

“Nobody cares. Just a few loud conservatives. It will all be forgotten in a week….”

“Nobody cares. Just a few loud conservatives. It will all be forgotten in a week….”
Word from Rome is that the Curial clerics and prelates are telling themselves and others that, “Nobody cares about this. Look at the comment threads on mainstream media outlets. The primary outrage is that the sex abuse is being blamed on homosexuals. Nobody cares about the cover-ups. Just a few loud conservatives. This will all be forgotten in a week.”
They are relying on the 36 hour news cycle to bail them out, yet again. I think we should take a lesson from the Weinstein scandal that broke last fall and launched the entire #MeToo movement in that there were fresh allegations and victim testimonies on a daily basis for months on end. Weinstein led to Kevin Spacey, which led to Matt Lauer, etc.
Given that there are countless THOUSANDS of victims of both childhood and adult sexual attack by sodomite infiltrators into the Church, given that there are thousands and thousands of alumni of seminaries and universities wherein the bathhouse scene was an open secret, thousands of men who entered seminary over the past 60 years and fled or were drummed out by sodomites, there is absolutely no reason in the world why this torrent should dry up.
Good men need to start telling their stories and NAMING NAMES. Just in the English-speaking world, all alumni of:
Any Pontifical University in Rome (Angelicum, Greg, Anselmianum, Augustinianum, Santa Croce, Regina Apostolrum, Biblicum, etc.) and the Josephenum in Ohio, which was a bathhouse for decades – TELL YOUR STORY AND NAME NAMES – NOW IS THE TIME.
Any seminary – – TELL YOUR STORY AND NAME NAMES – NOW IS THE TIME.
All colleges in Rome, with the North American College (NAC) at the top of the list, but also the Venerable English College (VEC) and the Irish College which has had open, flagrant sodomites in residence just within the very recent past – TELL YOUR STORY AND NAME NAMES – NOW IS THE TIME.
All people ever involved in the Legionaries of Christ and Regnum Christi – TELL YOUR STORY AND NAME NAMES – NOW IS THE TIME.
The Brompton Oratory, Allen Hall, and anywhere else in the U.K. – TELL YOUR STORY AND NAME NAMES – NOW IS THE TIME.
Any chancery or parish employee – TELL YOUR STORY AND NAME NAMES – NOW IS THE TIME.
Any “c”atholic University or prep school – TELL YOUR STORY AND NAME NAMES – NOW IS THE TIME.
Archbishop Vigano did what he did in the hopes that it would help other people to come forward. He has fled Italy and is now in hiding, in fear of his life. He has opened the path. Others should follow it. SPEAK UP. EXPOSE ALL OF THEM. Do NOT let this die in the 36 hour news cycle. More than picket lines, what will help the most right now is MORE VICTIM TESTIMONIES.
St. Peter Damian, pray for us.

Thanks for that…. gives me something to watch while in the waiting room. No email from Ann…. I didn’t really expect it, but since the topic is of such import, I mean really, MC…. did you ever think this would blow right open like this?

I’m almost hopeful, between the Katie Hopkins video and all of these revelations that really can’t just be hidden away and shushed. Perhaps my optimism is premature, but it has been a while since I felt any optimism about the world’s state at all beyond the borders of my little corner of paradise on Earth.
