Watching the 2 of them together I was reminded of the ancient joke that if Mamma Cass had given Karen Carpenter her ham sandwich they’d both be alive today.
Cass Elliot (English surname) AKA Jewess Ellen Naomi Cohen died from congestive heart failure in London. The ham sandwich hoax was started by the first doctor on the scene. However, the autopsy revealed heart failure as the actual cause of death. No drugs were in her system and there were other items found to be the cause.

The US and China are not natural enemies. We have 7000 miles of ocean between us. OTOH everything China is looking for lies right over its northern border. Millions of square miles of sparsely populated Russian territory so it is Putin who needs to be very careful about his relations with China.
The declension of the past two generations in our country proves my point below that america as we know it along with it’s government is coming to an end.
The silk road project will open every continent for further development. The Chinese model for social development seems to be showing great potential for lifting populations out of poverty and evolving the social consciousness of the world. Conversely , the western model of exploiting people and land for the benefit of a few elites is no longer desired by anyone. This latter model is a dead man walking. My bet is on the former model.
Western culture is dying. A new world culture is forming and the US won’t be leading it. But america will become a part of it.
A new religion is coming.
The Chinese see the US as a people in social decline. In their psychology of life we are in the process of self destruction. So they have no fear of us and in their 100 year plan America is a part of their silk road project.
The Chinese one world order will be dominated by the Neo-Confucianism model of living. When the dust settles after our fall don’t be surprised to see the Chinese moving in to clean up the mess and confusion with re-education camps for the people.
Has anyone here wondered why america has increasing numbers of people falling into poverty while in China millions are moving into middle class status?
Has anyone here wondered why our political leaders have no vision for our country or the western hemisphere while China has a 100 year plan for the world which includes infrastructure and social development?
Has anyone here wondered why over half our population doesn’t vote? When leaders have no vision for the people and their campaign slogans are generalizations along with negative comments about their opponents what is the point of voting?
America is failing because it seems to have lost it’s vision. When people become commodities for the government and corporations to exploit in contradiction to the Declaration of Independence our country was based on then the reason for the existence of our country is gone.
Because of their ruinous nature democracies don’t last more than 200 years. Our Republic soon after it’s debut soon fell into a democracy that is now 200 years old. It is now in it’s death rattle.
What comes next is what we have to concentrate our attention on.
How many Chinese elected to US Congress are also citizens of China too ?
