Compulsory government schooling?

https://www.freemansperspective.com/learned-to-torture/

Forced grouping breeds bad conduct. When you mix that with hierarchical domination, it gets much worse. And that is precisely what mass schooling does.

Laws force children to attend these institutions, where they are forced to submit to authority. Learning from this example, the children turn around and apply the same domination on others, putting themselves above them in the all-important order of hierarchy.

The Psychopathology of Everyday Schooling

How could such a policy produce hallway decorum and relative quiet in classrooms, you may ask? Well, look at it this way: it’s tailor-made to be nonconfrontational with dangerous kids. True, it spreads terror and bewilderment among their victims, but, happy or unhappy, the weak are no problem for school managers; long experience with natural selection at my school had caused unfortunates to adapt, in Darwinian fashion, to their role as prey. Like edible animals they continued to the water hole in spite of every indignity awaiting. That hands-off modus vivendi extended to every operation. Only once in four years did I hear any teacher make an indirect reference to what was happening. One day I heard a lady remark offhandedly to a friend, “It’s like we signed the last Indian treaty here: you leave us alone; we leave you alone.”

First of all child, teen or young adult and adult suicide has always existed. Perhaps better questions to as might be causing this uptick in suicide.

1. What happened to core family with both mother and father? i.e., It takes both to raise children doing their individual parts.
2. What happened to God in their life giving them a moral foundation to follow?
3. What happened to our educational system that was suppose to prepare them for competition in a chosen profession?
4. When did we give up teaching responsibility, self reliance, self worth, the need to struggle and respect for others?

I am sure there are others that could go on the list. These are just a few possible causes that leads to this tragic trend we are seeing among our youth, children and even adults. The answer lies in our failure to remember the basics of life and how to deal with them.

Perhaps we should look at what socialism or some other form of tyranny leads to in the long run. When nearly all or all hope is done away with, what is left for them or anyone else to hang onto that is purely “theirs”.

I wish there was more demographics provided…..are they from
‘progressive’ families?
mid to upper income families?
LBGQTXY families?
Single-parent ‘families’?
Blue-state (city) families?

Some of that information may provide a better clue as to WHY

All of the above. Plus:
– High number of children being prescribed various medications including SSRIs for “depression”, stimulants for ADHD, vaccines, etc.
– Diet of non-organic food high in carbs, especially high fructose corn syrup, GMOs, and food contaminated with glyphosphate.
– Way too much time staring at a screen of some sort (blue light) playing violent games and accessing social media.

Great points Annie. I would also add the cell phone and game consoles. Young individuals don’t have a great deal of face to face time.

Too much aggregate screen time – school, home, play. It’s enough to drive anyone to despair.

Then there is that “bright” future facing the young. Yeah, very bright.

Agreed, not enough time spent out doors with friends to develop social skills and basic coping mechanisms. Today, if there is a problem or a question, it is straight to the smart phone, and going with the first post/page that fits their “outlook”.

Because no one told them why no man is a island and none of them have been trained up to properly read at all.

No Man Is An Island

No man is an island,
Entire of itself,
Every man is a piece of the continent,
A part of the main.
If a clod be washed away by the sea,
Europe is the less.
As well as if a promontory were.
As well as if a manor of thy friend’s
Or of thine own were:
Any man’s death diminishes me,
Because I am involved in mankind,
And therefore never send to know for whom the bell tolls;
It tolls for thee.

How many were Whites or Asians forced to attend shit hole godless public schools and be discriminated against and abused by Minorities and liberals; intelligent Whites and Asians who were already using pot to escape a Black Hell?

From the onset of their intellectual ability to express themselves with recognizable attempts to verbalize language, around the same time that they develop the mechanical balance AND hand-wrist-eye-ankle coordination to throw themselves at the ground without actually hitting it, children of the last two “generations” (plus-or-minus) are given joysticks, controllers, or touch-pads that cause sparkle and flash and the illusion of motion while standing still. So, about the time they stop crying and start doing something interesting, they are told to sit down and shut up and play with this. So they do. The cartoon-world that most kids know is not real (not even inside the television itself) becomes reality, or a central pillar of it, at least from BEFORE they actually develop the portion of the brain that stores long-term memories. So, for longer than many of these kids remember, they hold the controller to their own “occupation” – entertainment and distraction and digital fixation, all at once and all the time. Then sometimes they chase the cat. Otherwise, the real world sucks.

Ennui, “Frenchie” for boredom (of a certain middle-class type)

https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/ennui

could be a factor – maybe they are just really f*n bored. Nevermind the mental illnesses or vaccine damage or life in broken homes, dis-unified families, awful diets, propagandizing soul-killing schools, super-hero gods on the big-screen but no God anywhere else, even in most of our churches, and nothing worth reading about, either way, and until Jesus makes a youtube of himself walking on water, they got sparkle boxes to stare into until they go as physically blind as they are just blind.

I know any loss of life, especially self inflicted at a young age is awful.
I had a class mate in college who took his life very publicly my senior year.
6 / 100,000 = 0.006%, the trend doubled over past seven years which is not good.
Go ahead and rip me, but its a small percentage.
