Yesterday’s rally while successful in showing that significant numbers of Virginians will stand for freedom (despite the pathetic whimperings of Matt Bracken and the Buffalo Jump crowd…very disappointed in Matt) is not sufficient.
The Leftists in Richmond will not be swayed and will simply ignore the will of the people and pass the tyrannical package of unconstitutional gun laws.
Remember…..VA has a gun homicide rate of 12/100,000 while neighboring MD has a rate at 47/100,000 or nearly 4X Virginia….yet oddly MD has much more restrictive laws on firearms…..it is about a monopoly on violence not “safety”.
So like usual, the question is “now what”…..
I like the idea of European “protests” to start actively making the machine less functional….semi-trucks blocks highways/bridges. Farmers slowly driving tractors at rush hour…..etc. The police state will attempt to impose costs on the protestors through the confiscation of assets….but it is time to “starve the beast”….get creative.

I don’t know why it would be. That guy doesn’t look like to grab a bug-out bag and live in the woods in a guerrilla action against anyone. He doesn’t look likely to do anything that might delay his next cheeseburger. He’s likely more afraid of being called “racist” than anything. He might have a cool weapon but does he have any beliefs he’d kill for, or die for? Doubtful.

Anybody can ambush anyone anytime…found that out the hard way more than once, and stone cold killers and murderers ‘can’ look harmless, saw that too.
I am especially leery of drunken irregulars manning remote checkpoints, teenagers with Ak47s in any setting, death squads on deserted highways and all AGWs…….Oh yeah and small barky dogs….those little fuckers will always bite….the veneer of civilization is as thin as a Chihuahua’s patience…..

I think at this point we are both especially leery of the human race, and any animal with teeth, antlers, horns, hoofs, and claws.
One of the reasons I consider myself at the most dangerous point (to others, two and four footed (with evil/harming intent) is because I have survived so many situations I never expected.
Now, I expect anything…from any man, woman, child or beast…anywhere…at any time. I am now ‘armed’ both ‘mentally’ and ‘multiple weapon wise’ for a midget assassin, posing as seven year old, sneaking up behind me in the toy aisle in Wally World.
Having almost been blown into a red mist by an 11 and 9 year old I have a different attitude towards children than the general population.
One example of being prepared past Joe Sixpacks normie attitude is this. I hate the winter because of the cold, (one of the many reasons I live in the South) but I love having my hands jammed in my coat pockets, the right one (in many situations – C-Store – parking lot – street stroll) holding a hammerless wheel gun, with the finger on the trigger, ready for the big two way SURPRISE! That’s long before I have to go to my hip for the Sig.
They surprise me…then hopefully I surprise them.
I practice shooting from a pretend coat pocket on my home range…with just the right hip/pocket tilt delivering what could be an unexpected (accurate) split second trigger pull from one of my subbies after an indisputable life threatening situation.
No draw…just tilt and fire.
If he has money to buy a Barret .50 he obviously has the means to feed a gun capable of 1600m hits on larger material targets – like choppers or BearCats. Now whether he can hit anything of consequence is another matter and none of my beeswax. My preference, should my eyes cooperate, would be something a bit more modest, like a 140g Creedmoor semi-auto.
I’m sure 50BMG Guy was a hit at the gathering. ALL the Barrett guns are outstanding works of mechanical art in my opinion.
