Italian Serie A soccer team Inter Milan cemented its spot in the next round of the Europa League last night, but not a single fan was present at San Siro Stadium to watch, according to CNN.
As Lombardy, Italy’s hardest-hit region, struggles to contain the virus before a cluster emerges in Milan, Italy’s most densely populated city, the Milanese football club was forced to play the match without anybody there to witness it, as Italians wrestle with the fact that these ’emergency measures’ will likely remain in place for some time.
Across the world, in Japan, China, South Korea and elsewhere, sporting events have been cancelled as part of containment measures targeting large crowds and gatherings where the virus could easily spread.
This weekend, five more Serie A matches will be contested before empty stadiums.
Inter Milan triumphed over Bulgaria’s Ludogorets in the match, 2-1.

I’m a bit surprised at the level of coverage here with this flu. TBPer’s should always cast a wary eye on any threat that smells of getting the herd to panic-usually into sending more loot and power to d.c. I recognize the threat and took some sensible precautions but let’s keep our heads screwed on and our brains focused. I like, on such issues, to follow the lead from someone I think has a healthy perspective.-In this case Ron Paul. Obviously his medical training and experience are unique but he’s seen past scares like this and kept his head. He and Larry McDonald (an MD also-murdered by the government) were the only 2 congressmen on a past such virus scare who voted against a vaccination which wound up killing more than the virus did. Dr. Paul is not panicked about the virus yet but really concerned by the market. He talks about the virus at 4:00

I feel the market was the target all along. What better way to create panic in an already financially strapped world. China is one of the most unscrupulous countries in the world. What better place to start a rumor of this magnitude. China also produces the lions share of goods consumed by the world. It is my understanding India is the second largest producer. Why aren’t we seeing the same issues in India? China in my opinion would be completely on board with the destruction of our economy. Just like magic we will have a one world order to save the world from itself and china would prosper beyond its wildest dreams given its industrial capabilities.

What will the Emperors do when bread and circuses no longer keep the masses distracted from their non-stop crime sprees? I guess we might find out in Tokyo this summer if the Olympics (the world’s biggest crony-capitalist circus/distraction) are cancelled.
Or if the economy tanks. Also, if Trump loses or the dem’s lose the election. Either way someone is going home with a bloody nose. I would still like to know who the puppeteers are. We need to put faces and names to these folks. They need to get their helping of humble pie.
