Americans are tired of Hollywood’s blatant doublespeak when it comes to guns. Alec Baldwin is now the most notorious anti-2A nut – this despite the fact that he’s killed more people with a firearm than most of the entire population of legal gun owners combined. Matthew McConaughey is another; he goes on rabid gun rants despite having been made a gajillionaire being featured in action-packed movies loaded up with guns and ballistics of all kinds.
Thankfully, not everyone in Hollyweird is a raging leftist fanatic. Brad Pitt’s politics aside, he has proudly taken a stance that he’s owned guns since Kindergarten.
Kurt Russell is another gun proponent who shredded a beta male faux journalist to pieces in an oldie-but-goodie interview designed to make him look brilliant and Russel like a troglodyte. Amazingly, just the opposite happened.
During the interview, the idiot journalist Jeffrey Wells said that guns are something “disenfranchised white guys need” because gun ownership “makes them feel good about themselves.”
Rough start. Not only does he hate guns, he thinks that this is a white supremacy issue. I wonder if he’s been to Chiraq recently.
Russell vociferously pushed back and lit the buffoon up, saying “If you think gun control is going to change the terrorists’ point of view, I think you’re, like, out of your mind. I think anybody [who says that] is. I think it’s absolutely insane.”
And he didn’t stop there. Russel went on to destroy Wells with a master class lesson on the stupidity of gun control measures.
“The problem, the problem that we’re having right now to turn it around…you may think you’ve got me worried about what you’re gonna do? Dude, you’re about to find out what I’m gonna do, and that’s gonna worry you a lot more.
And that‘s what we need. That will change the concept of gun culture, as you call it, to something [like] reality. Which is, if I’m a hockey team and I’ve got some guy bearing down on me as a goaltender, I’m not concerned about what he’s gonna do — I’m gonna make him concerned about what I’m gonna do to stop him. That’s when things change.”
Russel is so obviously right it’s beyond stupid to counterargur with him. I just posted separate articles on a single mom blowing away a home invader in front of her kids. What if she didn’t have a gun. And then I just did, ironically enough, a piece on how New York looks like the set of a 1980’s Kurt Russel movie.
Nonetheless, Wells couldn’t stop digging. Instead, he tried to make his foolish point yet again, saying “Obama’s point was that the guys on the no-fly list, [there] for good reason because of terrorist connections or suspicions…they can get hold of a gun pretty easily.”
Russel just continued slamming this ignorant Regime mouthpiece into the ground.
“They can also make a bomb pretty easily. So what? They can also get knives and stab you. [What are you] gonna do about that? They can also get cars and run you over. [What are you] gonna do about that?”
When Wells tried pivoting to the tired argument that some terrorists rely on guns, citing the fact that the 2015 San Bernandino terrorists didn’t run people over to kill them but rather used guns, Russell immediately reponded, saying “But they’ve killed others that way, haven’t they? Yeah, yeah. Whaddaya gonna do? Outlaw everything? That isn’t the answer.”
Some things shouldn’t even have to be said. Since we live in a dumbed down world, at least there are big voices like Russel to speak some necessary truths.

Saw a video once, of a black guy, explaining things to a black female singer who had achieved a
small dose of stardom, fame, and some money from her ability to sing.
The gist of his message to her is this, and it’s certainly not widely known by the general public. Open / secret.
He told her: (paraphrasing here)
“Look. You have great talent, and that’s what got you some success. Maybe you’re a millionaire. But the
people in control will sit you down. They will say to you: “Congratulations. You’ve done quite well for yourself, with a little help from key people in the entertainment industry. Now, we can take you to much higher levels. If you want to be that superstar, with widespread fame and a much larger fortune, up to say the 10-20 million dollar net worth, we can make it happen. BUT, we must have your unwavering loyalty, to go along with how we do things, and NEVER reveal the things we do for you, or demand from you, to the general public. Are you in or are you out?”

THAT is the ugly underbelly of the media and entertainment industry of movers and shakers.
There’s been rare individuals who have spoken out, but those people either shut up fast, or fade from the scene.
Figuratively and literally. Many suspicious deaths in the media industry of people who wouldn’t go along.
Think of many of the people who used to be relevant performers in the public eye, who opted out, walking away from the sick game, perhaps because their talent faded, or perhaps they just wanted to make their living in another realm.
One more wholesome. A simpler lifestyle, like raising a fine family with privacy, or going into another business venture that’s not so much in the public eye, free from humiliation and abuse. Ventures no longer seeking fame and mass fan approval, and no longer craving the desire of massive amounts of filthy lucre.
Conscience plays a role in it.
Maybe faith in God, whatever they perceive Him to be. A love of freedom.
But instinctively, they know that what they were a part of was wrong, on too many levels.
And, the ones who stayed and tried to endure, suffer immense psychological pain and damage to their being.
As for the conservative folk who go against the narrative and speak out, they are few and far between.
They exist, for sure, but even they are, for the most part, opinionated, but not loudmouths for too long
about the majority who constantly uphold their PC comments and actions, in following the liberal agenda.
Never.
Never compromise on your ethics, your integrity, or your instinctive realization of what is right vs. wrong.

Pretty good takedown by Russel, but one problem immediately, it’s Russell with two l’s I thought maybe I don’t know something about his background like maybe his family came from Eastern Europe or something, and maybe it was originally spelled with only one l, but nope. two l’s It’s not even worth me going back through the entire thing to point out more typos (giving credit, because I often type on my tablet which is over the top with creating typos), but something about the word ‘argue’ comes to memory.

I’ve read Russell characterize himself as a court jester, & that as an entertainer his “political” opinions shouldn’t be sought. That’s a serious keeping of perspective.
I’ve seen McConaughey launch into self-helpish-guruish podcasting & self-aggrandizing biography writing & sacrifice his physicality for a role & I remember his how-to-turn-a-coffee-filter-into-a-facemask-to ward-off-cold-bugs tutorial. That, like & along with the gun hypocrisy, is seriously supercilious as to perspective (but which may well also be deeply knowledgeable about his fan base, many of whom which may have only two or three blades a-whirring). Wouldn’t surprise me if MM goes for political “office” someday.
Baldwin, Stallone, Schwartzenegger (the maid-fucker, & before that massive steroid-shooter) the same “I’m a serious person” hypocrisy.
Going into politics, you already know the person’s character, even if s/he’s got perfect physiognomy. ☺
Going into acting is much the same. And lots of those folks have the physioG-money in spades.
I hire specialists for the specialties I want to buy. I don’t ask the yardguy to tune the car, or the actor to understand/parse the larger stage for me.
