I never understood the attraction to this guy’s videos. The in-your-face lecturing style is reminiscent of being chewed out by Dad. This is intentional, I am sure. I am an adult now and pay no attention to anyone who tries to speak at me this way.

When I watched his videos, as I did now and again, I understood that his schtick was to be a tough love father figure to young men who needed one, so rather than getting annoyed at the way he was talking to me, I understood that he wasn’t talking to a man who might be old enough to his own father.

I just don’t see anything special about him and won’t waste my time watching his video’s. What’s his credentials? He’d be good for on the ground reports, which I believe is how he started. If I want geopolitical opinions I’ll watch Col. Douglas MacArthur.
