I have started reading the transcript from Joe Biden’s October deposition in the classified documents case that was released yesterday and came upon this interesting exchange between Special Counsel Robert Hur and President Biden.
Mr. Hur: We are trying to understand how you handled classified documents. For instance, when you were Vice President, you would receive classified binders for the daily briefing and such things, is that correct.
President Biden: Sure, they would bring me a binder. It was a big blue bag, and it has a lock on it, with big with letters that read “For Your Eyes Only.” And it has a computer, you know like a laptop in it as well. Well, not exactly, the president gets a laptop, I just got an Etch-A-Sketch pad. But it was really neato. Did you know that if you spin both dials at the same time, you can make a diagonal line? I got really good at that. Sometimes I was even able to draw letters.
Mr. Hur: Mr. President, sorry to interrupt, but can we stay on topic?
President Biden: Sure. Anyway, after a little while drawing letters, the guy with the little earpiece would come by and ask if I was ready? I always said yes, even though I was never ready since I spent the whole time playing with the Etch-A-Sketch and not preparing for the briefing. While we would walk to Oval, we never called it the Oval Office, we just called it The Oval cause that sounds much cooler, I would always ask if I could get one of those cool earpieces, you know the ones with the wire hanging down. I would say, “Hey pal, I always called him pal, because I could never remember his name, can you get me one those cool earpieces?” He would just smile and not answer so I never got the cool earpiece.
Mr. Hur: Mr. President, I’m sorry you never got the earpiece, but we were talking about the classified documents.
President Biden: Oh right. Anyway, we would walk to the Oval, did I tell why we called it the Oval?
Mr. Hur: You did.
President Biden: Good, cause that’s important. When we got to the Oval, Obama, President Obama, he was president, I think, at the time. He was always in the Oval when I got there so he must have president, would always say, “Tell that idiot to wait in the hall!” This was kind of like a joke between us, but I would go sit in the hall and they would close the door and have their meeting. All the while I was sitting out there, I would always regret not bringing my Etch-A-Sketch.
Mr. Hur: So, you’re saying you never received classified documents during your time as Vice President.
President Biden: Sure, I got oodles of them. They would bring them over in that big blue bag, but they always told me not to read them, I’m not sure why. It was ok with me because I would rather play with the Etch-A-Sketch anyway.
Mr. Hur: Well, what would you do with the classified documents when you were done with them?
President Biden: Oh yes. Hunter would always drop by and pick them up. He always needed them for his board meetings with Burisma or when he met with that Chinese fella, whose name I can never remember. Speaking of which, you look sorta Chinese pal, did he ever meet with you?
Mr. Hur: No Mr. President, If the White House Counsel has nothing to add I think we can move on to other topics.
President Biden: Can we talk about my Corvette now?
I will keep reading the transcript and will report on any other interesting exchanges as I come across them.

this may be an unpopular take, but I don’t find this stuff amusing or worthy of parody. These MFers are thoroughly corrupt from top to bottom, and they keep shoving their naked corruption right in the public’s face. This Hur guy is part of a DOJ and justice system that has become a totally politicized joke over the past few years. Yes, impartial justice may be one of those unattainable absolutes like true love, but the partisan bias on display under this adminstration almost beggars belief. Biden is too feeble and mentally incompetent to answer for the documents issue, but he’s sharp and fit and fiery a few weeks later at his SOTU speech, and if you don’t think he’s capable and ready for reelection, well, F _you—Joe Scarborough said so. Sorry Joe, but you can’t have it both ways
Thanks for your view with which I agree. Not only is DOJ, and every other department in the Execuitive branch, politicized but they also take deliberate pleasure in rubbing law abiding citizens’ faces in the shit that they have created. Mayorkas is a prime example; another is the entirety of the House democrats supporting the idea of non-citizens being able to vote.
Every institution is corrupt.
