Trump tweeted something a few days ago that is still bothering me today. (Sorry if this has already been discussed since then.)
He tweeted; –“Nobody should be allowed to burn the American flag – if they do, there must be consequences – perhaps loss of citizenship or year in jail!“
REALLY???
The question is not about your opinion about flag burning. But, feel free to include a sentence, or two. Me? I don’t like flag burners, but, in America, this is one the freedoms we have …. to show disagreement with the government.
Q1: IF Trump were to get his wish, wouldn’t this be the beginning of the end of the Constitutional Right to dissent?
Q2: Is it legitimate to start wondering if the Trump Way is the way to tyranny?
