Library admits they let a convicted SEX OFFENDER read to children as young as two in drag after failing to perform a basic background check

  • Houston Public Library has banned a man who had been previously charged for sexually assaulting a child from reading to children at Drag Queen Storytime 
  • The library apologized after not completing a background check on Albert Alfonso Garza, 32, last known to be reading to kids at the Montrose Library
  • The library blamed the failure to complete a background check on a volunteer 
  • Garza was charged with child sexual assault involving a victim who was eight-years-old in 2008

It has emerged that a registered child sex offender has been reading to children at Houston Public Library as part of its Drag Queen Storytime.

A group called Mass Resistance, which has been trying to put an end to the program and contacted KHOU about the pedophile.

The action group claimed that it had been asking the City of Houston for months to disclose information about the drag queens but got no response.
