Congresswoman Demonstrates ‘Worst Parking Job Ever’

Abandon all hope, ye who happen to park anywhere near geometrically challenged-motorist Eleanor Holmes Norton.

An HOH tipster watched in horror Wednesday as the 77-year-old D.C. delegate awkwardly forced her way into a wide-open spot in the carefully controlled corridor of New Jersey Avenue Northeast sandwiched between the Longworth and Cannon House Office buildings.

“If she parks like that she should not be a member of Congress anymore,” one mystified observer — who wisely recorded more than a minute of the automotive travesty — suggests after witnessing Norton reportedly rub the correctly positioned, red sports utility vehicle to her immediate left with her improperly angled, silver sedan.

Larry Summers – Who Admits He Cannot Forecast – Forecasts Trump

Guest Post by Martin Armstrong

Larry Summers is a classic example of how a PHD means absolutely nothing compared to real life experience. He had the audacity to say, “The vast majority of the companies who have large overseas cash also have substantial amounts of domestic cash.” Obviously, Summers has never advised a real company. If Trump makes it a 10% tax, any company who does not bring their cash home would be a short. EBay had two companies it wanted to buy domestically. It backed out of the deal because it would have to bring in cash from overseas and pay too much tax to make it worthwhile. That’s how much Larry Summers knows about the world.

THIS MIGHT BE THE DUMBEST F#$KING WOMAN ON THE PLANET

Hillary will appoint her Secretary of State

BEST OF SHEILA JACKSON LEE:

“Maybe I should offer a good thanks to the distinguished members of the majority, the Republicans, my chairman and others, for giving us an opportunity to have a deliberative constitutional discussion that reinforces the sanctity of this nation and how well it is that we have lasted some 400 years, operating under a constitution that clearly defines what is constitutional and what is not.”

“Don’t condemn the gangbangers, they’ve got guns that are trafficked, that are not enforced, that are straw purchased and they come into places even that have strong gun laws. Why? Because we don’t have sensible gun legislation.”

“I stand here as a freed slave because this Congress came together.”

“And I want to say to my colleagues that I stand here asking us to do what we did not do in Vietnam. Was to recognize the valiant and outstanding service of our men and women. And to understand that victory had been achieved. Today we have two Vietnams, side by side, North and South, exchanging and working. We may not agree with all North Vietnam is doing, but they are living in peace. I would look for better human rights record for North Vietnam, but they’re living side by side. Because that was a civil war.”

“All those who wore sheets a long time ago have now lifted them off and started wearing uh, clothing, uh, with a name, say, I am part of the tea party.”

I Want A Thank You

Guest Post by Zman

News brings word that one of the hyper-violent meat-heads the NFL hires to entertain us on fall weekends is making a nuisance of himself over the custom of playing the National Anthem before games.

San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick has willingly immersed himself into controversy by refusing to stand for the playing of the national anthem in protest of what he deems are wrongdoings against African Americans and minorities in the United States.

His latest refusal to stand for the anthem — he has done this in at least one other preseason game — came before the 49ers’ preseason loss to Green Bay at Levi’s Stadium on Friday night.
“I am not going to stand up to show pride in a flag for a country that oppresses black people and people of color,” Kaepernick told NFL Media in an exclusive interview after the game. “To me, this is bigger than football and it would be selfish on my part to look the other way. There are bodies in the street and people getting paid leave and getting away with murder.”

Kaepernick was born to a destitute black white mother¹ in Milwaukee, who put him up for adoption. His father was a deadbeat from the neighborhood. In other words, he was born into the typical black environment, but unlike most black children, he was saved by a nice white couple who adopted him and raised him as their son. This got him into good schools, sports and a middle-class lifestyle. Later, nice white coaches helped him with his sports career, first at college and then in the NFL. Jim Harbaugh made Kaepernick a legitimate NFL player.

Sen. Bob Casey Wants to Ban Gun Sales to “Anyone Reasonably Suspected to be Guilty” of Misdemeanor Hate Crimes

Via Reason

My Douchebag Senator

Reasonably suspicious.

One need only be suspected of an ineffective “feel-good law” to be deprived of rights.

In the wake of this past weekend’s massacre at a gay nightclub in Orlando, Sen. Bob Casey (D-Pa.) announced in a press release today that he intends to introduce new legislation which “would prohibit the purchase, possession or shipment of a firearm by anyone convicted of a misdemeanor hate crime or who received a hate crime sentence enhancement.”

What makes Casey’s “Hate Crimes Prevention Act” especially noteworthy is that a conviction would no longer be necessary to deprive someone of their Second Amendment rights. Merely being “reasonably suspected to be guilty of a misdemeanor hate crime” would be enough. It is not clear who the senator would authorize to determine whether a person is reasonably or unreasonably suspected to be guilty of any particular crime, much less one that tries to get inside the head of a suspected criminal and police their thoughts.

Per Casey’s press release:

“If you have proven you will commit criminal acts based on hate, you absolutely should not have access to a gun. It’s common sense,” Senator Casey said. “It is time we as members of Congress do something. If you are a member of Congress and you say you care about security then you have to take steps to keep guns out of the wrong hands and ensure our law enforcement has the resources needed to keep communities safe.

Casey’s press release also states that “known hate groups are growing in the United States” and cites the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC)’s statistic that “892 hate groups are currently operating in the United States, up 14 percent since 2014 and almost 33 percent since 2000.” Earlier this year, Reason‘s Jesse Walker examined the SPLC’s often very-fuzzy math and its frequent tendendency to define “gang slayings, domestic violence, and other apolitical or ambiguous assaults in which the killer also happens to subscribe to an ‘extremist’ worldview” to fulfill their pre-determined theory that hate crimes and hate groups are almost always on the rise in the U.S.

Kanye West Is Retarded

Kanye West Is Retarded

Why aren’t more people making fun of Kanye West? Is it because he’s retarded? Who cares? That’s hilarious. On Tuesday, Virgin Airlines told him he should “EAD” (eat a dick) and added that he’s a “douche.” This is interesting because douchebags were designed to clean vaginas and if there’s one thing that should eat a dick it’s a clean vagina. Just kidding, they said nothing of the sort, and quickly apologized to Yeezus “for any offence caused.” The original comment was a response to Kanye claiming he deserved a 30 out of 10 for his album instead of the 9 critics had given him. With context, “EAD” and “douche” seem remarkably benevolent.

As a Canadian immigrant by way of Britain, I am constantly surprised by the soft bigotry of low expectations blacks in America are awarded. I don’t care about slavery. America got 3% of the slaves Africa sold the New World and Americans lost 650,000 men abolishing the practice (the equivalent of 7M today). I heard they had it rough in America, but where I’m from “No Blacks, No Dogs” included “No Irish,” and they were slaves too. When a black person says something completely insane, I laugh my head off and go, “That’s idiotic.” In America, they say, “It’s complicated.” So a concussed entertainer such as Kanye West can go gallivanting through life like something out of a children’s book and the response is usually positive.

“Americans laugh at this asshole in polite company, but in public they’d much rather kiss his black ass (which he insists he doesn’t enjoy).”

CAN’T A BROTHA GET A BILLION?

Can’t a nigga get a break? Just because they spent $4 million on a 2 year old birthday party at Disneyland, rented out the Staples Center for $110k to play some pickup basketball, and rented out AT&T park for $3.3 million with pyrotechnics, a Jumbotron, and a 90-piece orchestra for their reality TV engagement, shouldn’t we feel sorry for Kanye? Maybe he should do a telethon for himself. Or a better idea. How about a porno tape with Kim? She has proven she can swallow quite a bit to get her name out there. It would be racist of Zuckerberg  to not give Kanye $1 billion. He should see it as reparations for Kanye’s slavery to the white man.

Kanye West Says He’s $53 Million in Debt, Asks Mark Zuckerberg to Invest $1 Billion in His Ideas

Aside from promoting his SNL performance and the release of new album The Life of Pablo on Twitter this weekend, Kanye West also said that he is $53 million in debt.

The rapper tweeted about his personal finances just before taking the SNL stage on Saturday (Feb. 13), asking his followers to “pray we overcome.” He then performed “Ultra Light Beams” (with Chance the Rapper, Kirk Franklin, The-Dream, Kelly Price and a gospel choir) and “High Lights” (with Young Thug, The-Dream, Price and El DeBarge).

Following the appearance, he dropped The Life of Pablo on his website and on Tidal. As of Sunday (Feb. 14), however, the album is available only on Tidal. West took to Twitter again on Sunday to plead that his 18 million Twitter followers subscribe to Tidal if they want hear the new release, as he “decided to not sell my album for another week.” Kanye West performs during Kanye West Yeezy Season 3 presentation and The Life of Pablo listening session on Feb. 11, 2016 in New York City.

West also used the social media platform to publicly call out Facebook founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg, asking him to invest $1 billion in his work “after realizing he is the greatest living artist and greatest artist of all time.”

PAPAL DISASTER FOR PHILLY BUSINESSES – IDIOT MAYOR CURSES OUT MEDIA FOR HIS FAILURE

The papal visit to Philly should have been a windfall for businesses, restaurants, and retailers. Mayor Nutter and his band of government morons proceeded to create a war zone atmosphere in the city, scaring people away and creating an economic disaster for the city. This boob isn’t capable of running a lemonade stand, let alone a major city. His response was to blame the media for his miserable failure. I’m surprised he didn’t pull the race card. His reign as mayor has been a fiscal disaster. This is the cherry on the cake. Next up, another clueless democrat who will increase taxes and drive more businesses and people from this dying piece of shit metropolis.

Empty Cash Registers: Businesses Struggle Through Pope Visit

“We set up tables outside with grab-and-go items like sandwiches and snacks. When they didn’t sell, we started giving them to any homeless that would pass by,” shop owner says.

Restaurant owners say the expected crowds for the Papal weekend did not live up to the hype.

With as many as 1.5 million people estimated to have passed through Philadelphia during the week-long World Meeting of Families conference and papal visit, one would expect business was booming.

But all types of businesses, from restaurants and bars to clothing shops and even dollar stores in the city say they found it hard to make a buck during the pope’s visit.

“We have been suffering big time,” said Dollar-o-Mart Plus Dollar Store owner Asghar Ansari. “We stocked an additional $4,000 to $5,000 in product, like chargers, batteries and food items; things we thought people would need. But the only thing selling is the pope stuff.”

Several other business owners along Chestnut, Walnut and Samson Streets say they also stocked additional product in anticipation of large crowds of customers only to see it go to waste.

Mark DeNinno, owner of Chris’ Jazz Cafe at 1421 Samson Street, said he was left with mounds of extra produce that he had to ask his business neighbor The Union League of Philadelphia to store in their refrigerators and freezers when he ran out of space.

“We did maybe 10 percent of the amount of business we would normally do on a weekend,” DeNinno said. “There was a jumbotron right outside of our doors and thousands of people passed by but none of them came in. I think people just had an agenda to get from point A to point B without making stops.”

UNIVERSITY OF DELAWARE PRESIDENT IS A BLITHERING LIBERAL IDIOT

This is the picture of an ultra-liberal shrew who acted like your standard race baiting liberal idiot by declaring a hate crime before she had any facts whatsoever to substantiate her hysterical rantings. These are the kind of ideologues in charge of State universities today. What a worthless, brain dead, pustule on the ass of higher education. Liberal are hopeless, dangerous and a menace to society.

University of Delaware ‘hate crime’ investigation ends on comedic note

An investigation into an alleged hate crime on the campus of the University of Delaware ended yesterday when it was discovered that what was believed to be hangman’s nooses turned out to be leftover decorations.  The “nooses” were found in the general vicinity of a Black Lives Matter protest, leading to hysterical hate crime charges.

And hilarity ensued.

Washington Times:

Campus officials were alerted late Tuesday by students who thought nooses had been left hanging from a tree on campus not far from the location of a recent Black Lives Matter demonstration.

“This hateful display stands in stark contrast to Monday night’s peaceful protest and discussion. We condemn this despicable action and ask everyone in our community to stand together against intolerance and hate,” Nancy M. Targett, the school’s acting president, said in a statement Tuesday.

Within hours, however, officials retracted their concerns after realizing the supposed nooses were actually harmless remnants from a separate event.

“Thanks to tips from students who responded to our earlier call for information and the investigative work of University of Delaware Police, it has been determined that the three noose-like items found outside Mitchell Hall were not instruments of a hate crime, but the remnants of paper lanterns from an event previously held on The Green,” the acting president explained early Wednesday.

“I am confident that we have determined the origin of these items,” weighed in Police Chief Patrick Ogden.

No fewer than eight students had described the lanterns to authorities as resembling nooses before the investigation was halted, Chief Ogden told a local NBC News affiliate.

The “acting president” of the university should be fired for generating hysteria over nothing and for jumping to conclusions.  She put white students in danger with her wild, unsubstantiated charges.  Note that there was no hedging, no caveats – she described the lanterns as a “hate crime.”

And no apologies for ginning up outrage for no reason.

It would be nice if university officials and students would learn a valuable lesson from this, but they won’t.  So we await the next fake “hate crime,” with an overreacting administration and students enslaved to a politically correct reaction.

Bernanke Says “No Large Mispricings In US Securities”; These 5 Charts Say Otherwise

We all know Bennie is a financial guru. His foresight is unquestioned. He saved the world, don’t you know? His wisdom and ability to portend the future is unrivaled. Who could forget his previous market calls?

(October 20, 2005) “House prices have risen by nearly 25 percent over the past two years. Although speculative activity has increased in some areas, at a national level these price increases largely reflect strong economic fundamentals.”

(January 10, 2008) “The Federal Reserve is not currently forecasting a recession.”

(March 28, 2007) “At this juncture, however, the impact on the broader economy and financial markets of the problems in the subprime market seems likely to be contained. In particular, mortgages to prime borrowers and fixed-rate mortgages to all classes of borrowers continue to perform well, with low rates of delinquency.”

(July, 2005) “We’ve never had a decline in house prices on a nationwide basis. So, what I think what is more likely is that house prices will slow, maybe stabilize, might slow consumption spending a bit. I don’t think it’s gonna drive the economy too far from its full employment path, though.”

(February 15, 2007) “Despite the ongoing adjustments in the housing sector, overall economic prospects for households remain good. Household finances appear generally solid, and delinquency rates on most types of consumer loans and residential mortgages remain low.”

(November 15, 2005) “With respect to their safety, derivatives, for the most part, are traded among very sophisticated financial institutions and individuals who have considerable incentive to understand them and to use them properly.”

(January 18, 2008) “[The U.S. economy] has a strong labor force, excellent productivity and technology, and a deep and liquid financial market that is in the process of repairing itself.”

(May 17, 2007) “All that said, given the fundamental factors in place that should support the demand for housing, we believe the effect of the troubles in the subprime sector on the broader housing market will likely be limited, and we do not expect significant spillovers from the subprime market to the rest of the economy or to the financial system. The vast majority of mortgages, including even subprime mortgages, continue to perform well. Past gains in house prices have left most homeowners with significant amounts of home equity, and growth in jobs and incomes should help keep the financial obligations of most households manageable.”

“The GSEs are adequately capitalized. They are in no danger of failing.”

(Two months before Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac collapsed and were nationalized) “They will make it through the storm.”

(June 10, 2008) “The risk that the economy has entered a substantial downturn appears to have diminished over the past month or so.”
