God gave the Irish whiskey to prevent them taking over the world.

Was in a pub in MI last night, catching up with an Irish buddy in town from Philly. He’s a former Marine and works for Temple U.
I had a couple long necks. He had a few Jamesons. Imagine that.

I mention the 30 blocks of squalor. He knew it well.
Common ground.
Six degrees of separation.
Small world.

Looks like a blast for athletic guys skilled at controlling that gizmo.
In younger years, I’d try it.
Nowadays, my attempt would end up as an nKit gif on Friday Fail.

Yea man…every dog has his day…

I use to sky dive…now I sky gaze!

I use to cliff jump…now I stay away from the edge, literally and figuratively.

Shoot, I played hard charging softball for decades. Played shortfield, my nickname and uniform shirt said SCOOP. One of my last games I was in the field at the top of the first inning and I saw my wife walking around the stands with a note pad talking to our friends and writing things down. When I came in and asked her what she was doing, she said she was taking bets on what inning I would injured and either limp off or get carried off the field.

Tried to turn a hot line drive single into a double, one of my bold base running trademarks…groin muscle said: “I’m geting old and not doing this anymore.”

That was my last season.

I was never big, but had 3 things…speed, could hit, and had a howitzer arm to throw in from left center field. I hung up that sport around the age of 50-52.
Couldn’t focus on deep balls up the gap, while trying to chase ’em down.
Weakened eysesight and achy joints did me in. Sigh…skills diminish w/ age, eh?

Oh yea without a doubt, everyone loses athletic skills and resilience that’s normal. My hundred yard dash is down to about 50 yards and shrinking.

OK L…no drinking and Hydro-boarding for us!

Give the Irish their due; Tullamore Dew that is.

With a brew: “A ball o’ malt and a pint of plain. ”

An Irish wake is one of the best parties I’ve ever been to.

Utter nonsense. The Irish had competed and in some cases, exceeded the Brits in numerous vocations until they were outlawed from doing so.
Wholesale importation of Caribbean rum together with the aforementioned oppression was the Emerald Isles ultimate unwinding
