The Fraud Of Democracy

Guest Post by The Zman

One of the features of the current year is the regular reminder that western style democracy is a complete fraud. According to the political class, democracy allows for public policy to reflect the will of the people. The parties put forward candidates offering various policy proposals and the public signals their preferences by voting for one or the other candidates. The winners then set about trying to implement the policies they proposed. That’s how we’re told representative democracy works.

In reality, nothing like this happens. Instead, the parties put on a show for the voters, rarely intending to actually do what they claim. Instead, they manufacture differences between one another, so they can pretend the choice before the voters is stark. Once the election is over, the politicians go back to living their lives of leisure, waiting for instructions from the people who actually run things. The politicians are like robot actors, brought out for elections, then put back in storage.

The obvious example of this is the most recent American presidential election in which Donald Trump scored a stunning upset on the promise to reduce immigration, crackdown in illegal immigration and address the gross inequality resulting from globalization. So far, none of that has been done. Instead, he spent most of his presidency fighting a seditious coup to get him out of office. In fact, Trump’s three years are pretty much what Jeb Bush promised when he was running in the 2016 primary.

Notice that hardly anyone in either political party is terribly conce3rned about the FBI plot to overturn the election. Sure, there are a few lonely voices on the Republican side asking questions and demanding transparency. They have no support from leadership. On the Democrat side, they are actively colluding with the plotters to cover up the affair. One would think the people subject to the voters would care about the integrity of the process, but you would be wrong. The revealed preferences are on full display.

An ugly as the Trump era has been, it is civil and decent compared to what is happening in Europe. The Italians are now watching their political class submarine the will of the people in an egregious series of deceits by the Five Star Movement. The Italians voted for a populist, anti-EU coalition. Instead, the Five Star Movement cut a deal with the internationalist, pro-EU party to sabotage the nationalists. The result is the exact opposite of what the people voted for in their last election.

In Britain, the government put a choice before the people back in 2016, as to whether remain in the EU or become an independent nation again. The public chose nationhood by a respectable margin. In any democracy, getting 52% of the vote, particularly in a highly popular election, is a solid majority. Here we are, more than three years on, and the political class is still debating whether to accept the election results. In other words, the elected officials are deciding whether the election results matter.

To make matters worse, you now have members of one party actively colluding with members of other parties to undermine the orderly process in Parliament. Up until this week, the “remainers” could plausibly claim they are operating within the democratic process, despite thwarting the will of the people. Britain is not a pure democracy, so the pols have some leeway. Now, they are in active revolt against the system that they are sworn to uphold, in an effort to upend the result of the Brexit referendum.

In all of these cases, the question that never gets asked in the media is who is bribing these people to carry on this way. The most likely reason Five Star finked on its voters is the leaders too bribes from Brussels. In Britain, the “remainers” are certainly on the payroll of global enterprise. Those paymasters are most likely foreign. In the United States, of course, both political parties are wholly owned by the donor party. No one in the media bothers looking into it, as they are owned by the oligarchs as well.

The tell is that these shenanigans always work one way. You’ll never see the party of the globalist suddenly have a crisis of conscience and defect to the nationalists. It’s always the other way. There are no “remainers” siding with the Brexiteers in order to respect the will of the people, despite their own misgivings. In Washington, no globalists have switched teams to support Trump. In the charade that is democracy, the fink is always played by the same character in exactly the same way.

The reason we never see a politician break ranks in order to support the popular will against his own side is that western democracy is a fraud. Elections are a beard worn by the oligarchy to fool the public. The public space is filled with drama and outrage, drawing in the public. It is the circus half of the bread and circuses. Meanwhile, the oligarchs, most of whom are now foreign to the people over whom they rule, exercise the real power of the supposedly national governments of the West.

In the United States, both political parties are funded by the same people. For example, anyone questioning the endless wars for Israel gets pilloried, because Israel runs a massive lobbying operation to buy off both political parties. They work this racket in other Western countries as well. The tech giants operate in violation of the laws and civil order, because they own the politicians of both parties. Of course, the commentariat is being paid by the same people to maintain the fraud.

Every society has an elite. This is the natural state of mankind. In a democracy, this reality is concealed from the public. Instead, it is one man, one vote. The people decide public policy. In reality, it is a handful of men and your votes mean nothing. Worse yet, those oligarchs pulling the strings are wholly unaccountable. They don’t have to answer to the public. Instead, they pay flunkies and coat holders to do it. Democracy is a fraud to distract the public, while their society is looted by oligarchs.

The worst part of it is the public, instead of peering behind the charade to see the string pullers, vents its anger on the actors. In 2016 the public voted against the status quo in the form of Donald Trump. Angry at that result, they voted for his opposition party in 2018, as a punishment against his party for their intransigence. In 2020, the public will probably throw Trump out for someone promising something different, but the result will be the same. The result is always the same. Democracy is a fraud.

The establishment is clueless as too how many millions hate them.

The establishment believes they still have civil discourse as a hedge.

Not realizing their heads will be up there at the Tower of London.

Dream on. The “millions” may hate them, but they’re not likely to do anything about it as history has shown again and again.

In the United States, of course, both political parties are wholly owned by the donor party. No one in the media bothers looking into it, as they are owned by the oligarchs as well.

In the United States, both political parties are funded by the same people.

I learned this some time ago. This site The Center For Responsive Politics, tracks the donor money from the donors that set public policy and are the true rulers in Washington. Your vote does not have a single effect on public or foreign policy. If you have a shitload of money that you can lobby bribe congress with, you can get the government that you want. It’s the best democracy money can buy, where every swinging dick politician and bureaucrat will sell their soul for a dollar. It’s a plutocracy.

The The Center For Responsive Politics showed a few years ago how the same members of congress that were saying they were against ACA, i.e. Obamacare were actually recieving money from big pharma and the medical industrial complex to support Obamacare. Fast forward to Trojan Horse, Judas Goat Donald Trump’s American Health Care Act, the replacement for Obamacare, (remember his campaign promise that he would repeal the ACA and not replace it with anything. Trump, a true bait and switch artist), Well, it turns out that most of the same politicians who received donor money for support of ACA also received donor money for support of the American Health Care Act.

In this evidence of democracy being the fraud that it is, creates a new problem in the voting cattle’s minds. Cognitive Dissonance. They can see this article and others that point out these facts with proof and evidence and still believe that voting changes the country, when it clearly has no effect at all. It’s called an agenda. When the rulers, i.e. donors have an agenda, you don’t vote your way out of that, you have to fight your way out of it.

This article could be an introduction pamphlet to a new political party, something we need in this country. I suspect that there eventually will be a third party here in the US, to mimic the illusion of choices they have in the EU.

A new party will attract a lot of voters and money, but, since the game is called politics, it will eventually be taken over by some big moneyed interest, and the results would be the same. Sorry for being so cynical.

What is really going on in the world, is that people are wising up to the game, and they are trying to change the course, but the oligarchs are entrenched, and now they are exposed like never before. 10-20 years ago, nobody talked about Soros or NGOs or how the CIA used twitter and facebook to start the Arab spring.

Now, thanks to independent bloggers and excellent comment sections, we are able to spread the truth to each other, and I think this has the elites scared, and they are getting ready to roll out some serious AI to scour the web and snuff out all the truth, so that it can be replaced with official “narrative compliance” stories, a sort of New World Order propaganda machine, organized by the 5 eyes intel agencies.

I would not be surprised if the west also adopts a social credit score, used to control those of us who refuse to believe their stupid explanations for the obvious false flags and other operations used against their own populations.

They hate us.

Have you even studied the ballot access laws of any state? There will be no 3rd party, the ballot access laws forbid it. For fucks sake! You can’t run as a Green, Libertarian, Socialist or any other party affiliation. All 3rd party candidates have to run as independent. How the fuck are you to know which candidate is which? You can’t. BTW I left out reform in the above list. Here in Tennessee you have to get more than 5% of the popular vote of gubernatorial candidate so your party can get on the ballot on the next election. However, since you can’t put party affiliation on the ballot. Well you see the problem. The demonrats and the refuckuagains have it all tilted their way. No, no 3rd party will win until the ruling establishment is done away with.

My sentiments exactly. People who call voting a waste of time are ignoramuses. I wish it was only that banal. Voters validate a system that oppresses them. It’s self immolation.

Most Western nations like the USA are NOT democracies, but are representative republics. The big difference between the two is the decision making process. In a democracy the parliament makes the bills, but the people, all the voters decide if the bill becomes law.
The closest thing to a true democracy is Switzerland. It has happened many times there that the politicians have tried to create a law but it was ultimately voted down by the people.
The problem with a true democracy is, that it is rather impractical to exercise over a large nation, because of the work necessary for all the votes on bills.
The democracy was invented in ancient Greece and utilized to govern cities.
The Republic comes from ancient Rome, a couple hundred years after ancient Greece. Rome had the first senate.

Currently reading Revilo P. Oliver’s “America’s Decline”. Profoundly sad to finally understand that white Americans are truly no more than cattle, have been for a long time and probably will be forever. Periodically small groups here and there figure it out, but are soon lost in the gears of time. Our rulers run a game measured in hundreds, if not thousands, of years, and most of us can’t see past next week.

We have Mob rule now. We haven’t been a Republic in a while. Mass media, owned by small groups of like minded people is used to drum up fear and hysteria sufficient to give congress and the white house cover to enact laws and regulations not to our benefit. Democracy is mob rule.

Yakking about ‘Democracy’ is pathetic. Words matter. Use the proper fucking terms. This system, as ‘the experienced’ wrote is a Constitutional Republic. It’s a whole different animal. Whether it’s functioning properly or not is immaterial as to what it is.
It makes zero difference what system of governance is in place. It’s not the system, it’s the abuses of that system by people. We could have a benevolent king, but the next could be a tyrant. And so on, with every possible system. There will NEVER be a system that works properly for very long because human nature is horrible.
This was clearly expressed many times in many different ways for the last 2 or 3 millennia. One of the most recent and well-stated is one we’re all familiar with –

Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other. John Adams.

Individually there are many honorable and virtuous people but we, as a corporate body, are neither moral nor religious. Neither here in the US, the Western sphere, or globally.

I won’t tire everyone by adding the hundreds of other applicable quotes from notable individuals throughout recorded history, that address the horrors of Democracy Mob Rule or the intrinsic depravity of the human condition as it applies to governance.
Where we are now should be no surprise to anyone with half an eye open. Warnings abound, from biblical prophecy through the warnings from the Founding Fathers to contemporary voices shouting into the abyss.

If your first premise is wrong, everything that follows must be wrong. If your definition of a subject under discussion is misleading, than how can anyone effectively debate it? That is a defining characteristic of the Prog/Lib/Alinsky/1984 way of doing business; change the narrative, twist words, misdirect, conflate definitions in order to destroy your primary target. We really should avoid such.

Call it what it is, and debate the real problem.

Why would you think I was referencing you specifically, shit-head? Do you even understand what ‘conflate’ means? The system most certainly is a hoax, but that hoaxed setup is NOT a Democracy, ass-hole. That was the whole fucking point. Try getting your head out of your ass and actually try to comprehend the actual words I wrote.
I never proposed a ‘fix’. I was confronting what is a consistent error in these articles and comments.
By all means, apply whatever fix you deem appropriate.
For what it’s worth, I actually agreed with your comment.

Flea – I do not understand. My original comment was to the main article and had nothing whatsoever to do with you. It was not a reply on your comment, so WTF? I don’t know why you would think that it did. Seems a bit hyper-sensitive to me.

What was I supposed to think? Your comment at 5:13 was calm and reasonable. I make a comment not connected to anyone elses and you come out swinging. Your first line and your last six sure seemed directed at me so I counterpunched. If I jumped the gun I apologize. It seemed to fit the mkold here which is why I’m not on here much any more. Instead of telling someone what we think of their comment we throw out cheap insults and trash their character. Just yesterday someone just trashed me out of the blue so I hit back. It seems that the practitioners take silence as weakness. I’ll assume guilt and apologize because you don’t have a track record of that tactic.
And you are right about incorrect premises. Finance for instance. Arguments and solutions are based on how to better manage Fiat instead of honest money.
Again my apologies.

Hey, Flea…

I read some of these comments and the back of my neck gets hot, and the way TS comment fell right under yours…….but as I drifted down through this column, I upvoted your ‘Mob rule’ then read TS comment, and I did not get a sense that his comment was in your direction because of your reference to a Republic. The mention of “the horrors of Democracy Mob Rule’ even came across to me as being in support of what you said……….

just my two cents

annuit coeptis novus ordo seclorum <<<<——it's some of those 'founding fathers' that came up with this.

TS- I agree about being a stickler for calling it what it is……on any subject. In reference to your Adams quote, the definitions of 'moral' and 'religious' can be quite broad, as you know……and the 'insinuated' meanings that gave the open path for paganism to found, root, and grow in this country. The result of which, is the fully matured beast of masonic theocracy that circumvented out Republic…IMHO

TS-
I probably started typing my response about the same time as your 8:11 post cause it wasn’t there when I responded to Flea…it takes me twenty minutes to type much more than a copy n paste.

I’ve only been around here for a short minute compared to many, including Flea (maybe you). One thing I know is the man shares a kindred spirit with me, so to speak….I just told him what I heard as I read it.

annuit coeptis novus ordo seclorum <<<<<——that phrase, brought to you by freemasons, is a blaring warning sign

The idea of a constitutional republic, conceived by freemasons with great influence from the Black Coat Regiment, was beautiful in design, but constructed to bring its' own demise, IMHO

Spot on, Mr Z!

I live in Argentina, the country that acts as a dress rehearsal for what’s coming your way in the USA. Our “pro-market” prez is toast, now sidelined as the leftist has dialogues with the IMF and the Portuguese prez the IMF likes. The money-lenders are firmly in charge and the voters in our “republic” will put in office a confirmed leftist butt-boy and his handler Cristina Fernández de Kirchner along with the Elvis-sideburned little black-suited rabbi who will ensure a foreign financial oligarchy that will crush all individual initiative that might well take this irreparable mess of a “nation” into near-slavery to the non-productive financial “wizards” who will bleed this country dry while taking command of its vast resources. The same will happen to the USA slowly but surely.

I once had high hopes for this country as a “last frontier” for the West, but those hopes diminish by the day. Were I still in the USA, I’d feel the same. Y’all have been outsmarted, just as have been the less shrewd folks down here. It’s a genuine shame, but so it goes. Uglier and uglier by the day.

I see lots of folks here write how the big battle is coming, but unless it begins tomorrow, it won’t begin at all, because y’all (and we down here as well) have been outmaneuvered big-time. Talikin’ time is over. Word.
