I’ve started travelling to central valley CA to the middle of farming and agriculture industry. Driving through the ‘valley’ I am shocked at the homelessness. (I am no where near SF and LA). It hasn’t rained, so it is advantageous to live on the streets. Of course trash is terrible along the side the roads and highways.
People I meet are very nice and friendly, clearly different than the coastal elites you see in the media.
Yes, Newsom has the restaurants locked down, can only eat outside.

yep. visited CA (san fran area) for business a few weeks ago and thought the same thing. the sheer amount of garbage along the roadways was the first thing i immediately noticed as i left the airport. i’ve traveled all over the USA and i’ve never seen anything that approaches what i saw in CA. i know there are beautiful parts of the state, but i don’t understand how anyone could live within 50-100 miles of any of the major CA cities.
Nobody has explained why we don’t have millions of homeless people dead from CONvid.

Yeah, there were people living in open air shacks with corrugated steel roofs and no plumbing. I didn’t see trash all over the streets. Nothing like what you are seeing in LA, now. I don’t know what Teguc looks like now but I bet it still looks better than LA

We still have homeless tent encampments here in Minneapolis. Nothing on the scale of CA – because we have winter. Homeless shelters have been at half capacity this summer because of the Chinese virus, so our commie government just let the bums camp out in the parks. We’re getting an early snow today. They’re saying it could be 3-5″. Maybe they’ll find a place for them, or maybe we could just truck them out to the Golden State.
