Just look at society since the TV showed the proles how to get “Inked”. Tattoos for everybody, not a fan BTW. I found the movie “Blade Runner” highly predictive, we could go down the list. No doubt they imprint the future on impressionable minds.
I have not been to the movies in 23 years, and I have no idea what popular TV shows are on cable. Ditched cable 17 years ago, never missed it. Perhaps that is key to avoiding some of the imprinting and participation in the shit show.
I watch Gunsmoke, Rifleman, Bonanza, all the westerns plus Any Griffith show, Waltons, Little House…can’t stand new shows.
