Journalist Who Attacked Top Tennis Player For Refusing COVID Vaccine Dies Suddenly

Via ZeroHedge

Events have been so frenetic over the past few years that it may be difficult for some to remember, but at the height of the covid panic there was a massive media campaign to destroy the image of any celebrity that publicly refused to take the vaccine.  They could be TV or film celebrities, famous scientists, politicians or even sports figures; it didn’t matter.  Anyone with a “platform” and an audience was expected to toe the line on the government covid narrative, or suffer the consequences.

One could argue that the mandates and vaccines were more a loyalty test than an effort to save lives:  Those who complied were considered devout collectivists or at least people who could be controllable, and those who refused to comply immediately stood out as a potential threat.  This is how a world-class tennis player from Serbia, Novak Djokovic, was treated when it was revealed that he was not vaccinated when he entered the Australian Open in early 2022.

This Week in the New Normal

Via Off-Guardian

Our successor to This Week in the Guardian, This Week in the New Normal is our weekly chart of the progress of autocracy, authoritarianism and economic restructuring around the world. Somewhat delayed and curtailed this week, but you can blame 9/11 for that (along with so much else).

1. “Seriously guys, climate change is a public health issue”

For a while now OffG has been highlighting how the language used around “climate change” is trying to change it from a an environmental issue into a public health issue.

We’ve explained the reasoning before – if climate change is a public health threat, then you can use the Covid precedent to institute “climate lockdowns”.

Yet another example appeared in the news this week, with the Guardian reporting:

Climate crisis poses greatest risk to people with respiratory illnesses, experts warn

If the title isn’t quite on-the-nose enough for you, well here’s the subhead:

Call for EU to match WHO’s air pollution regulatory limits as impact of climate emergency interlinks with human health

They’re going to keep pushing this, until “climate change=public health” is ingrained in the public subconscious.

A Year After Being Deported, Novak Djokovic Makes History Winning Australian Open as Bill Gates Looks On

Guest Post by Michael Nevradakis, Ph.D.

One year after he was deported for refusing the COVID-19 vaccine — precluding him from playing in the 2022 Australian Open — tennis star Novak Djokovic on Sunday made history when he returned to Australia to win his 10th Australian Open and 22nd Grand Slam title.

One year after he was deported for refusing the COVID-19 vaccine — precluding him from playing in the 2022 Australian Open — tennis star Novak Djokovic on Sunday made history when he returned to Australia to win his 10th Australian Open and 22nd Grand Slam title.

With Bill Gates in attendance, Djokovic defeated Greece’s Stefanos Tsitsipas, becoming only the second player to win a men’s Grand Slam competition 10 or more times. He also tied the record, held by Rafael Nadal, for Grand Slam wins.

Following his victory, Djokovic visibly teared up, hiding his face in a towel while sitting on the sidelines awaiting the trophy presentation. Afterward, he told reporters:

Political Purges Emerge Through the Compliance of Those Following Orders

It is difficult to get a man to understand something when his salary depends on his not understanding it.

Supposedly, a mid-nineteenth-century American Medical Association pamphlet quoted Vladimir Lenin as saying:  “Socialized medicine is the keystone to the arch of a socialized state.”  Although online fact-checkers claim there is no “credible source”  proving Lenin actually made that claim, it does appear to be an accurate observation.

After all, before becoming President of the United States, Ronald Reagan identified “medicine”  as a traditional method of “imposing statism or socialism” on people.  In the same 1961 speech, Reagan claimed that it is “very easy to disguise a medical program as a humanitarian project” but, once the precedent is established, government would, in turn, form a dictatorship over the healthcare system prior to the “short step” to “all the rest of socialism” encroaching throughout society.

Four years after Reagan’s warning to America, Medicare began in 1965 as a federal health insurance program under the auspices of the Security Administration (SSA). And, today, the program is administered by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).

Tennis champion Novak Djokovic, who last weekend won his fourth straight title at Wimbledon, said he has no plans to get vaccinated in order to bypass restrictions to enter the U.S. for the U.S. Open in August.

“I’m not vaccinated and I’m not planning to get vaccinated,” Djokovic said at the Wimbledon Championship, “so the only good news I can have is them removing the mandate green vaccine card — or whatever you call it to enter the United States — or exemption.”

KARMA IS A BITCH

Rafael Nadal’s words from a couple months ago have proven to be so profound. DECISIONS HAVE CONSEQUENCES. Maybe a little myocarditis will change his stance on Novak Djokovic not injecting himself with an experimental Big Pharma concoction because he has a zero percent chance of dying from Covid. Karma really is a bitch.

“If you don’t want to get the vaccine, you’re going to have some troubles. I think if he wanted, he would be playing here in Australia [at the Australian Open] without a problem. He made his own decisions, and everybody is free to take their own decisions, but then there are some consequences.” – Rafael Nadal

No Joke Novak: Banned From Australian Open For Vax Status, Djokovic Tells His Story

Via Blue State Conservative

On February 15th, the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) televised and posted an interview of top-ranked men’s tennis professional, Novak Djokovic. The interview focused on Djokovic’s decision to remain unvaccinated from COVID-19. He was denied entrance into last month’s Australian Open tournament because of his vaccine status and has delayed publicly giving his reason for declining the vaccination because “I had the right to keep that private and discreet.”

Novak Djokovic winning the 2021 Australian Open

Tennis star Novak Djokovic is being deported from Australia, after losing his final appeal the WTA’s top-ranked player will not be allowed to defend his Australian Open title.

It was reported this morning that an Australian court had refused Djokovic’s appeal against the cancellation of his visa, and as such he’s being put on a plane and flown out of the country.

To be clear: This is all because he’s not “vaccinated” against Covid19, and vocally speaks out against the practice. The government have clearly and publicly admitted as much…but we’ll get to that.

The rejection of Djokovic’s medical exemption and subsequent deportation has been accompanied by a wave of vitriol in the press the likes of which we have rarely seen.

One Australian sports presenter was “accidentally” recorded calling him a “lying, sneaky arsehole” in a video that was later “leaked” to the press.

The Spectator has one piece which is nothing more than a slew of ad hominem and mockery, against not just Djokovic but all “anti-vaxxers” and “conspiracy theorists”, calling the Serbian a “conspiracy super-spreader”. They have another blaming his “arrogance for his downfall”.

The Daily Mail ran a story headlined: “Welcome to the Wacky World of Novak Djokovic… and meet his equally wacky wife!”, and two more opinion pieces claiming his arrogance has “trashed his reputation” and calling him “a loser”.

The Guardian‘s Australian Political Correspondent Sarah Martin defends the decision and jokingly refers to it as a “no dickheads” immigration policy, attacking Djokovic’s “anti-science god complex” and calling him an “all-round jerk”.

The childish name-calling just doesn’t end. Even his fellow players are sticking the boot in.

Stefanos Tsitsipas attacked Djokovic for attempting to “play by his own rules”, adding “A very small minority chose to follow their own way. It makes the majority look like they are all fools”, which is at least true, but not in the way he means it.

Australia’s Government Is From the Dark Ages

Via Sovereign Man

On July 27, 1656, senior leaders of the Jewish community in Amsterdam issued a writ of cherem— the Hebrew term for expulsion and excommunication.

Their target was a young, 23-year old Dutch/Portuguese intellectual named Baruch Spinoza, himself a Jew, whose dangerous crime was questioning the unquestionable teachings of the faith.

The Jewish elders proclaimed that “The Lord will rage against this man and… blot out his name from under heaven” and ordered that no Jew should communicate with him, offer him shelter, give him money, or read any of his writings.

A few years later, the Catholic Church followed suit and added all of Spinoza’s works to its Index of Banned Books. This makes Baruch Spinoza one of the few people in history to be banished from both the Jewish and Catholic religions.

His philosophy was widely misunderstood at the time. Everyone accused him of being an atheist, which was one of the worst things you could call someone in the 1600s.

But he wasn’t actually an atheist. Spinoza’s works were an attempt for him to reconcile his faith with certain religious teachings that were illogical, self-contradictory, or refuted by science.

The Monumental Sacrifice of Novak Djokovic

Via Brownstone Institute

Defending Australian Open Champion Novak Djokovic was deported from Australia, the day before commencement of 2022 tournament play. He entered the country on a visa including a medical exemption based on recent Covid infection. Due to public outry over “special treatment,” his visa was revoked upon arrival in the country, only to be reinstated by a court. It was later revoked by an immigration minister, whose decision was upheld by another court, sending Djokovic packing — potentially for three years.

This draconian act puts Djokovic at a serious disadvantage in his Grand Slam rivalry with Rafael Nadal, who is competing in Australia this year after vocally supporting vaccines. Both champions, along with Roger Federer, currently hold 20 Grand Slam titles. Djokovic was favored to be the first to reach 21, but his decision to remain unvaccinated leaves Nadal alone with that opportunity for now. (Federer is out recovering from surgery.)

Djokovic was technically deported for not being vaccinated, but the decision lacks even a superficial “health and safety” justification. Djokovic already had Covid twice, once in early 2020 and again in December 2021. At the time of his deportation, he had been in Australia for ten days, and tested negative. He’s as healthy as a human being can be — you don’t earn “GOAT’ status in the difficult sport of tennis any other way.

Further proof that Djokovic poses no disease threat to anyone is the fact that this tournament was safely played in January 2021, before vaccines were available for any player or guest. Even if Djokovic had taken the vaccine, he’d be no “safer” in terms of his ability to transmit the virus, as the 100,000 daily cases in highly-vaccinated Australia attest.

Watch Australia Closely

Guest Post by Alex Berenson

It is what happens when Omicron hits a highly vaccinated population with little preexisting natural immunity; the early returns are not promising

Australia has deported Novak Djokovic for the crime of being unvaccinated.

Sending the world’s top tennis player home may make the Karens of the South feel better. Too bad it won’t solve their Omicron crisis.

Australia now averages more than 100,000 new Covid cases per day – equal to about 1.5 million in the United States. One fine day last week, it reported 175,000, the equivalent of about 2.5 million, maybe the highest per-capita total any country has ever reported.

Not even six months ago, Australia was still chasing zero Covid and patting itself on the back for “Doughnut Days” – with no new Covid infections. (Because a doughnut is shaped like a zero, see?)

Yeah, about that:

By the way, Australia is among the world’s most Covid vaccinated counties.

Novak Djokovic: Athlete, Rebel, Hero

Guest Post by Jordan Schachtel

I wanted to take a moment to recognize Novak Djokovic and his heroic defiance of the COVID regime, lending his enormous platform and status to the millions of people around the world who have been denied their unalienable rights in the name of a virus.

You would never know it by his disposition, but “Djoker” has an amazing rags to richer story, and he’s well aware of how governments can cause great human suffering. Growing up in war-torn Belgrade, Djokovic had to learn to play tennis in between bombing raids. Far from a silver spooned prodigy, he had to defy incredible odds to just achieve a modicum of success, and yet he has become one of the greatest athletes of all time.
