NPR. It’s not that it’s fake, it’s the spin. They always present an issue with 50/50 time for both sides: the conservative position first, followed by the liberal side “explaining” why the conservative side is wrong and only taken by idiots.
Yup, NPR. I listen to them mostly to hear what the latest scripted buzz words are. “Hmmm… last week, everything Trump did was “dark”. Sounds like the big word for this week is “chaos!”” It is also fun to count how many errors of logic, fact, and just plain common sense they throw out into the luminiferous ether.
The funniest thing about NPR of late is their newly found (and fake) respect for and admiration of the Constitution. Note that I do not say “their understanding of” the Constitution. They have spent the last quarter century slowly moving toward complete and total hate for anything Constitutional but suddenly, amazingly, they wrap their every thought with the mantle of “does it abide by the strictest Constitutional standards?”
I wish it were not so, but the Constitution is a dead letter and NPR is one of the gang raping, axe wielding, murderers who killed it. Now they think they can demonstrate how much they love it? Nope….

Most of the answers are easy. The one I turn off now that I at one time was loyal to was the Blaze.
I followed them at the beginning of the Tea Party and always trusted them in presenting the real news. Then something funny happened, Trump. Since he entered the race, there seemed to be a growing animosity towards him that grew more heated as the race dragged on. At about the same time the commentary from The Blaze began sounding strangely like CNN, the Washington Post, The New York Times, etc. My problem has been in listening to the radio show, where at one time I was a devoted listener, now I can go for 5 or 10 minutes before I cringe and change the station. But I’m getting better, I have lost the compulsion now and spend my time in more useful pursuits.
This seemed like a good opportunity to put this out there and see if others have had my experience.
My experience with Beck mirrors your own; I haven’t listened regularly in well over a year now, and cannot stand even a few minutes. Sadly, Pat, Stu and that big fella whose name escapes me are seriously under his spell. It’s like a cult. Of course, Pat and Glenn are Mormons…
I am certain that Lenin was not the first to figure it out, but he is quoted as saying “the best way to control the opposition is to BE the opposition.”
The Progressive movement and the Conservative movement have been to a large extent, two wings controlled by the same masters. Now that Trump has come along we can see who is REALLY in favor of dismantling the fake government scam, and who was just conservative-in-name-only, fake opposition.

I think the better question is which “news” program gets the biggest laughs. For me it’s the “Powerhouse Roundtable” on ABC’s This Week. Especially when Donna Buffalo and Matthew Dowdly Doright is on. Is he ever right about anything? That buttplug couldn’t pick the winner of a race between a cheetah and Michael Moore.

I would venture to say 100% of their political reporting, at best, reveal only select facts for “spin” purposes; and, at worst, deliver blatant falsehoods to the Sheeple. Yet, these are the resources that factcheckers like Snopes and Politifact depend upon to identify “fake news” for online monoliths such as Google and Facebook.
In the card game of life, the deck is stacked and the devil is in the details. It’s a rigged outcome because hot air rises and bullshit sticks. Plus, the Sheeple are stupid, lazy and apathetic. The British stuff is crazy awful, they don’t even attempt to make it appear as if it is news anymore. You click on link that seems to be about something relevant and you look at the side bar and it’s about 90% “celebrities” in their underwear and an occasional story about some horrific murder. Reminds me of the kind of true crime rags they used to publish in the 60’s.
NPR is my personal favorite because they are so plugged into the hive mind they don’t even realize that other people are listening to them and their bizarre world view. I find it way funnier than The Onion.

Plus it seem this piece of shit is in every hotel, motel, and fruitcake house passed out for free reading. I use it for back up toilet paper and for the bottom of the bird cage.
