Concerns Over Egg Shortages Grow

By Allan Stein of The Epoch Times

Concerns over potential shortages of eggs nationwide are growing due to inflation and supply chain issues made worse by avian flu.

“Like many sectors of the economy, egg farming is impacted by inflation and experiencing some limited supply chain challenges due to a variety of factors,” the American Egg Board (AEB) said in a May 24 statement in response to an Epoch Times inquiry.

Chickens gather around a feeder at a farm in Osage, Iowa

The AEB was created by an act of Congress in 1976 at the request of egg farmers as a way to pool resources for national-level marketing.

As researchers seek answers to why in recent months more than 500 previously healthy children worldwide have developed sudden-onset, severe hepatitis, two leading hypotheses have emerged linking the outbreak to adenovirus and coronavirus.

In a May 18 update, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) said it is investigating 180 cases of hepatitis in children, up 71 from the 109 cases the agency reported on May 5.

The cases occurred in 36 states and territories over the past seven months.

The CDC reported on May 5 that 90% of the children were hospitalized, and 5 deaths were under investigation.

According to the May 18 update, no deaths were reported since February, and the proportion of patients requiring liver transplants decreased since May 5 from 15% to 9%.

Pfizer Document Dump Shows Doctor With Ties to Gates Foundation Deleted Trial Participant’s Vaccine Injury

An 80,000-page cache of Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine documents released by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration sheds light on Pfizer’s extensive vaccine trials in Argentina, including the unusually large size of the trials and the story of a trial participant whose vaccine reaction was deleted.

An 80,000-page cache of Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine documents released by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) sheds light on Pfizer’s extensive vaccine trials in Argentina, including the unusually large size of the trials and the story of a trial participant whose vaccine reaction was “disappeared.”

The case of Augusto Roux in Argentina suggests that in at least one instance, a trial participant whose symptoms were determined to be connected to the COVID-19 vaccine was later listed, in official records, as having experienced adverse events that were not related to the vaccination.

Vaccine trials in Argentina also appear to have glossed over adverse events suffered by other trial participants, and the potential connection between the adverse events and the vaccine.

Red-Hot Inflation Burning Up Budgets, Plans and Futures, Too…

From Peter Reagan

At this point, it has almost become cliché to say that “inflation is accelerating,” and that it’s taking a bite out of retirement savers income. But just how big is that bite?

According to this Moody’s analysis, that bite amounts to hundreds of dollars a month consumed by the tax nobody voted for:

Prices are rising on everything from energy to food to shelter, costing the average American household an additional $327 per month.

To put this into perspective, that’s the equivalent of a new car payment — except you don’t get to drive a new car. The latest release from the Bureau of Labor Statistics puts inflation at 8.3% annually, or the approximate equivalent of one month’s pay just to meet rising expenses.

Paychecks aren’t keeping up, either…

Real average hourly earnings decreased 2.6 percent, seasonally adjusted, from April 2021 to April 2022.

This is reality for millions of working families who are living through “Inflation Nation” right now.

Fighting inflation… with price controls. It’s genius!

Via Sovereign Man

One of the most repeated lessons we see over and over again throughout human history is that bumbling politicians almost invariably try to ‘fix’ inflation with price controls.

Emperor Diocletian famously imposed strict price controls across the Roman Empire in 301 AD to fight off inflation that had resulted from a massive debasement of the Roman currency.

Naturally, Diocletian’s price controls weren’t successful. They’re never successful. But that dismal record of failure hasn’t stopped politicians from thinking that they can do it better.

From Hammurabi to modern day Argentina, from ancient Egypt to Richard Nixon (who “ordered a freeze on all wages and prices in the United States” in 1971), price controls have literally never worked, ever.

But I’m suuuuuuure Elizabeth Warren’s price controls will succeed.

DeSantis Torches Administration And Dems, Suggests Biden Has Violated Oath Of Office

Via The Blue State Conservative

The more we listen to and watch Republican Florida Governor Ron DeSantis speak, the more impressive he is. His skill set, which was partially developed at both Harvard and Yale, is beyond anything we’ve seen from a Democrat in years.

DeSantis’ manner of speaking is commanding but calm. He’s assertive without being overly abrasive. He almost always cites facts and data when making his points, something Democrats almost never do, and as a result, he’s persuasive. DeSantis has a gift. But one of the most impressive aspects of DeSantis’ public speaking skills is his ability to move to and from various topics without coming across as scatterbrained.

What Really Happened in Uvalde?

Submitted by Brewer55

Guest Post by CannCon

Before I begin, if you believe Uvalde, Parkland, or any of the other school shootings didn’t happen, stop readin

As we all try our best to make sense of another mass killing in the United States, we’re learning more and more about the situation and getting a better picture of what did (and didn’t) happen. It is of the utmost importance to make sense of these events and learn from them. So much so that if we had done exactly that on February 14, 2018, we may have a different situation today. I am going to outline the series of events as stated by law enforcement officials in Uvalde, TX regarding the shooting, followed by some questions that I feel are incredibly relevant and need answers.

But before we start the timeline, we must first ask an extremely important question: How did an 18 year old man, with no known employment, whom was living with his grandmother because of an addict mother, afford:

-Two expensive firearms made by Daniel Defense ($2,000 each)

-an EOTech optic ($400-$700)

-1,657 rounds of .223 ammo ($800-1000 depending on how they were purchased)

-body armor ($500-1000)

-and over 60 magazines ($10-20 each)

for a total of approximately $6300 to $8,000? Most established adult Americans, especially after the last two years and the current economy, can’t afford a fraction of that. But this young 18 year old was able to do so with no known job and all on a debit (not credit!) card? In a border town reportedly overrun by the worst of the worst from the US Border…I’ll let you make your own assumptions.
