That’s the thing….you CAN’T “go green” unless you have plenty of fossil fuels. Nobody seems to be willing to point this out to any of these shitheads (not directed at you). You can’t build solar panels without fossil fuels, nor windmills, nor even nuclear plants (not that they want them) without fossil fuels. And you can’t charge EVs without them at the moment. I don’t favor the environmentally-unfriendly “alternative fuel” industry, but at least if you are going to execute a changeover, you MUST plan for how it is actually achievable…and it is NOT if you have NO OIL, NO nat gas, NO coal, NO plastics (from oil), NO metals (all mined using fossil fuels for the equipment), and so, so, so much more. Its like they know they only have a couple of years before everyone is going to be coming to kill them, so they have to work quickly. Of course, it is what they are doing that will be the motivation for everyone with the pitchforks and torches, but they never seem to understand that either.

Trivia question #2: How much concrete is needed per mW for fossil fuel plants or for nuclear, versus concrete per mW for “renewables”?
