That is bad but the sweeteners worry me as much. I used to chew gum decades ago but then they changed to artificial sweeteners in ALL gum I could find. So I stopped.
The odd thing is that the natural sweeteners were still there but they added several artificial ones as well. Aspartame, Sorbitol, Mannitol, Xylitol, etc.
I have heard it was to reduce calories in the product but does anyone buy that? Do the dozen or so calories in a sugar only stick of gum make any real difference?
