Gladness and Silence amid Chaos and Violence

By Doug “Uncola” Lynn via TheBurningPlatform.com

The line separating good and evil passes not through states, nor between classes, nor between political parties either — but right through every human heart — and through all human hearts.

― Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn, The Gulag Archipelago 1918–1956

Come, I will show you the punishment of the great prostitute, who sits by many waters.  With her the kings of the earth committed adultery, and the inhabitants of the earth were intoxicated with the wine of her adulteries.

… The woman was dressed in purple and scarlet, and was glittering with gold, precious stones and pearls. She held a golden cup in her hand, filled with abominable things and the filth of her adulteries. The name written on her forehead was a mystery: Babylon the Great, the mother of prostitutes, and of the abominations of the earth.

 – Revelation 17:1-5

I had been emotionally involved a few times with women with enough of a record of promiscuity to make me vaguely uneasy. It is difficult to put much value on something the lady has distributed all too generously. I have the feeling there is some mysterious quota, which varies with each woman.  And whether she gives herself or sells herself, once she reaches her own number, once X pairs of hungry hands have been clamped rightly upon her rounded undersides, she suffers a sea change wherein her juices alter from honey to acid, her eyes change to glass, her heart becomes a stone, and her mouth a windy cave from whence, with each moisturous gasping, comes a tiny stink of death.

― MacDonald, John D. (1966). “Darker Than Amber”, Travis McGee series, Random House LLC, 2013, pgs 56-57

We live in an age of wizards and whores where souls are sold in the pursuit of material pleasures. Time-honored principles have been traded for profit and power as lawlessness intensifies.

The word “mystery” is defined as “something not understood or beyond understanding” or, in a religious sense:  “truth that one can know only by revelation and cannot fully understand”.   This would imply more than simply not knowing. A mystery can be that which exceeds human understanding.

There is a saying I’ve heard over and over in my life that has… for the most part… been stated by older men with whom I’ve been related and/or acquainted:  “The older I get, the less I know”.

A World Without Truth is a Game Without Rules

By Doug “Uncola” Lynn via TheBurningPlatform.com

While recovering from an injury years ago I had some time on my hands.  Between various books and chapters, I watched several episodes of the HBO television series “Game of Thrones”  (GoT). The show ran eight seasons from 2011 to 2019 and I found the series to be very well-produced with an impressive cast of actors and intriguing plotlines.

There are elements of fantasy in GoT as in Tolkien’s “Lord of the Rings” paired with echoes of epic storytelling from medieval legends like Robin Hood or King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table. But what appealed to me the most in the early seasons of GoT were the gritty politics and the realistic human consequences of actions, alliances, and betrayals.

7 Facts Fauci Knew But Hid From the Public

Guest Post by James Lyons-Weiler, PH.D.

Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) this week listed seven key facts about the COVID-19 pandemic and the government’s response to it that, according to Jordan, Dr. Anthony Fauci knew but didn’t tell the public.

Editor’s note: House Republicans on Monday commissioned a special investigative panel focused on the coronavirus pandemic during which they hope to press scientists and federal officials, including Dr. Anthony Fauci, about the origin of the public health crisis and the government’s response to it.

The following is a paraphrase of the opening round — the warning shot — by U.S. Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) Tuesday in which he used his time to outline seven facts that Dr. Anthony Fauci knew, and, more importantly, what Fauci did, and did not do, when he was made aware of these facts. Expect Fauci to retire this year

Guest post by Alex Berenson

America’s (most political) Doctor knows which way the wind is blowing

If Dr. Anthony Fauci is good at one thing… it’s finding vaccines to cure deadly diseases.

I’m funning you, people! I’m just so excited that Albert Bourla DVM is finally getting the recognition he deserves I can’t control myself.

No, if Tony Fauci is good at one thing… it’s reading the room. And the polls.

And the polls are screaming red. The biggest question at this point is whether Biden’s net approval rating is closer to negative 10 points or negative 20.

Yes, November is a long way off, but what’s going to change?

Inflation, like lasagna, takes a long time to cook and a long time to eat – and that tasty reality would hold even if the Federal Reserve were inclined to fight it hard instead of being too afraid to upset Wall Street to try.

Everything Uncle Joe tried with Covid has failed, everyone knows the vaccines don’t work (because everyone knows someone, or many someones, who is vaccinated and/or boosted and/or quadruple boosted and quintuple masked and has Omicron).

And every time a woman is pushed in front of a subway in New York City or stabbed to death at work in Los Angeles, voters are faced with the ugly reality that the left’s efforts to hinder police and prosecutors have worked only too well.

So, barring nuclear war, the Republicans are going to be running the House in 2023.

You Can’t Stop a Tidal Wave So You Might As Well Try

By Doug “Uncola” Lynn via TheBurningPlatform.com

The surest way to work up a crusade in favor of some good cause is to promise people they will have a chance of maltreating someone.  To be able to destroy with good conscience, to be able to behave badly and call your bad behavior ‘righteous indignation’ – this is the height of psychological luxury, the most delicious of moral treats.

…. This entire pandemic scheme has been designed as a divide and conquer undertaking… We are in the midst of this struggle for the future of our country and the world.

– Jim Quinn (11/28/2021), “THE WALL WAS TOO HIGH, AS YOU CAN SEE”

The Omicron® virus has arrived right on schedule and, of course, quite propitiously for those promoting The Great Reset®.   Fortunately, for them, each new wave has its own trademarked classification designed for maximum advertising impact within the ever-expanding COVID® brand.  Accordingly, the Omicron® campaign comes just in time for kids getting jabbed and will potentially distract from the spate of gift-wrapped Faucigate books lovingly laid under living room trees this Christmas.  Furthermore, Omicron®, will likely be used to conceal Covid vaccine failure and convince the Double-Jabbed to take that third swing.

As I’ve stated before, the Elite won’t turn back now. They are completely committed. This is because the Covid offensive either ends up with them lined up against walls or the We the Plebeians in digital chains.

Random Musings at The End of Life as We Knew It

By Doug “Uncola” Lynn via TheBurningPlatform.com

For me, the proverbial glass is either half empty or half full contingent upon where I’m looking. When I watch the news, I get angry. And every day, as I experience the strange surreality of post-America, I have to pinch myself just to make sure I’m not dreaming like Rip Van Winkle waking up in a Tim Burton film.

For my own mental state, therefore, I have to look away at times and step into the brilliant day. It truly is a beautiful time of year. Even so, whilst out in the lush emerald environs, and under the warm sun, it’s hard to shake the sense of doom; as this may be the last good summer.

—-The Stage is Set

Society is wide open here currently and masks, for the most part, have been relegated to the lowly relevance of a bad memory.

It’s a trap, of course, that will likely spring shut this fall and winter. But, in the meantime, the people are celebrating their freedom-via-Big Pharma, and perfectly timed with good weather. It could not have been planned any better. This is because the Covid vaccinations have, apparently, “culturally misappropriated” the power of Vitamin D in the summer sun. Or stated another way: Big Pharma is stealing the immune system’s valor.
