ROCKY MOUNTAIN VIDEO-GRAM

While on “vacation” in Colorado I spent about 10 hours driving approximately 700 miles in a new-fangled SUV with so many buttons and switches, I could barely figure out how to start the damn thing. I’m used to my 2012 Civic with about 4 dials. Avalon would tell you how beautiful and scenic it was, but I was too occupied trying not to drive off a cliff on the treacherous winding roads. She took numerous short videos of our drives. Here are a few:

ROCKY MOUNTAIN COVIDIOCY

“In reading The History of Nations, we find that, like individuals, they have their whims and their peculiarities, their seasons of excitement and recklessness, when they care not what they do. We find that whole communities suddenly fix their minds upon one object and go mad in its pursuit; that millions of people become simultaneously impressed with one delusion, and run after it, till their attention is caught by some new folly more captivating than the first.” Charles MacKay,  Extraordinary Popular Delusions and the Madness of Crowds

Once again, our country and most of the people, have fixed upon the delusion of dying from a non-lethal flu, while simultaneously allowing their liberties and freedoms to be crushed by totalitarian politicians, conspiring with Big Pharma, Big Media and billionaire oligarchs. Time for another story of the covidiocy engulfing our nation of obedient sheep as we enter year two of this descent into madness. I’ve previously documented the pathetic mentally deficient state of the ignorant fearful masses on trips to Cape May Lighthouse State Park and Valley Forge National Park. The sad part is the picture below isn’t actually a joke. We’ve all seen freaks like this driving with a mask and/or face shield alone in their car. These people are mentally unstable and shouldn’t be allowed in public.

MEANWHILE….IN ESTES PARK

This happened in Estes Park while we were there yesterday. Idiots taking pictures of wild animals from five feet away deserve to be eliminated from the gene pool.

ESTES PARK, Colo. — Videos show a bull elk charging at a crowd and damaging a pickup truck in Estes Park Thursday morning.

In the first of two videos filmed by Karen Harrison, the elk can be seen charging at a crowd next to the visitor center. Many people flee. According to witnesses, one man was injured when he tripped while trying to run away.

RAMBLINGS FROM THE ROCKIES

“Climb the mountains and get their good tidings. Nature’s peace will flow into you as sunshine flows into trees. The winds will blow their own freshness into you, and the storms their energy, while cares will drop away from you like the leaves of Autumn.” ― John Muir

We just got back from a family vacation in Colorado visiting my oldest son, who graduated college last year and immediately moved to Colorado to start his life. The trip was fun, enlightening, exhausting, and a lesson in how the easy money policies of the Fed result in mal-investment and the impoverishment of the middle class.

I don’t want to be a downer, as our week in Colorado was a fantastic journey where we witnessed some of the most stunning panoramas and beautiful awe inspiring vistas of our lives. My son is in the perfect place, as he loves mountain biking, hiking, snow boarding, camping, and hockey. After a week in Colorado, you realize why it is the least obese state in the union. It’s a perfect setting for those who enjoy the outdoors, as Colorado has 300 days of sunshine per year, along with the most snow per year.

I’ve only flown twice in the last eight years, so I wasn’t looking forward to getting molested by some obese low IQ TSA thug. Our flight was early on Wednesday morning and to my surprise the TSA line was non-existent. Getting a body scan still creeps me out. I hope my body scan grossed them out. This massive over-reaction to terrorism has stopped no attacks and cost citizens hundreds of billions and the loss of freedoms and liberties.
