Members of the Scottish Parliament must have overindulged at this year’s Christmas party after deciding to change the name of gingerbread men to a gingerbread person in their on-sight cafe so they didn’t cause offence.
The move comes as a strategy aimed at stamping out sexual harassment and sexism was introduced at Holyrood this week after a survey found 30 per cent of women working there believed they had been sexually harassed.
The change of direction hasn’t gone down well with some, however, with Scottish Conservative equalities spokesman Annie Wells saying:
“Surely the Scottish Parliament has got better things to do than worry about what to call gingerbread men? This is an utterly pointless gesture which simply trivialises the real issues of gender equality.”
Sugar levels must have been through the roof as the coffee shop decided to alter the name of the sweet treat in favour of political correctness which has clearly gone absolutely mad north of the border.

The long, end of summer holiday weekend is over and that means the circus has returned to the Imperial Capital. Congress is back in town after a month back home lying to the public. They kick off this week with the much anticipated confirmation hearings on justice Brett Kavanaugh. Given that the Democrats have had all summer to prepare, everyone thinks they will be in peak form. These confirmation hearings are like catnip to the freaks and weirdos that now constitute the Democrat Party. It promises to be a riot.
A call from the head of the California Democratic Party to boycott In-N-Out Burger over its $25,000 donation to the GOP, appears to have backfired rather spectacularly according to the Los Angeles Times. Take Anthony Grigore, a true-blue Democrat. But as he waited Thursday at an In-N-Out Burger in El Segundo for his meal, Grigore made it clear party loyalty would only go so far.
Just hours earlier, the head of the California Democratic Party called for a boycott of the famed burger chain after a public filing revealed that the company had recently donated $25,000 to the state’s Republican Party.
“Eating at In-N-Out is such a standard thing to do across California,” Grigore told the LA Times dismissing the boycott idea as a bit silly.
On Wednesday, Journalist Gabe Schneider tweeted a filing from the burger joint showing the $25,000 donation (while failing to note the $80,000 In-N-Out has donated to a liberal PAC over two years).

Actress Nina Nelson and other celebrities made a video claiming that plastic straws kill sea life: “In the USA alone, over 500 million straws are being used every single day, most of which are going into our oceans.”
“I will stop sucking,” vowed the celebrities.
In obedient response, Seattle banned plastic straws, and other places plan to follow. Starbucks, Hyatt and Hilton are all abandoning straws.
A YouTube show that challenges contestants to eat increasingly spicy chicken wings has raised the ire of a Tulsa media-studies professor.
According to a professor of media studies at the University of Tulsa, the YouTube show Hot Ones is problematic because it “manipulates inequitable gender hierarchies.”
In case you aren’t familiar with Hot Ones, it’s a show where the host challenges his guests to eat increasingly spicy chicken wings. Seems pretty harmless, right? An innocent chicken-eating show couldn’t possibly be something that’s actually hurting women, could it?

If it’s worth fighting, it’s worth winning – decisively. And that’s what we need to do about the Supreme Court and everything else in our battle with progressive tyranny. We’re in a mortal struggle against the left – if you doubt it, just get on social media and they’ll tell you it’s a mortal struggle. They will also tell you that it’s open season on you if you dare resist. So, it behooves us to win, and there’s no reason we can’t immensely enjoy it while we do.
