It appears that Judge Amy Coney Barrett has gone from a “cult member” for being a devout Catholic to a possible “white colonizer” for adopting two Haitian children. Where most of us saw a loving interracial family at the White House ceremony on Saturday, Ibram X. Kendi, the new director of the Center for Antiracist Research at Boston University, saw a possible case of effective baby snatching by “White colonizers.”

Black Lives Matter protests led many people to want to do something useful to reduce racial injustice. Now racial justice groups are being flooded with money, and big companies have made multimillion-dollar donations.

“It is condescending … and not helpful. I urge white people to chill. Stop helping us, because you’re making things worse.”
Making things worse, he says, because it supports the activists’ claim that “blacks are victims of racism. [But] if racism were in America’s DNA, Obama never could have got elected. Racism has never been more insignificant a factor in one’s success than right now.”
In Part One of this article I laid out the argument Huxley’s dystopian vision of the future had played out over many decades, but now I observe Orwell’s darker vision in motion since the start of this century.
All the “solutions” being imposed by those in power don’t solve anything, because they aren’t designed to solve anything. These are nothing but short-term emergency sustaining maneuvers to keep the dying patient alive, while the criminals ransack his house, extracting whatever wealth he has saved. Throwing $1,200 bones and $600 a week bribes to what they consider the Main Street riff raff, while funneling trillions into the pockets of Too Big To Trust Wall Street banks, billionaire oligarchs, connected mega-corporations, and pliable corrupt politicians, is just what the doctor ordered for the ruling class.
Their weak-kneed toadies at the Federal Reserve have dutifully fulfilled their mandate of no banker or hedge fund left behind. While Main Street is beset with potholes, boarded up small business storefronts (if they haven’t been looted and burned), homeless drug addicts, and the unemployed lining up at local food banks, Wall Street is being paved in gold, with its inhabitants eating caviar, drinking champagne, and celebrating their brilliance in owning a central bank, guaranteed to enrich them.

The worst racists in the world are the US print and TV media, NPR, and university administrations. Their racism is directed entirely at white people. Although Ron Unz is correct that Harvard University discriminates against Asians and limits their enrollment as Harvard once limited Jewish enrollment, it is white people who are accused by white media and white political leaders of both parties of the racial suppression of black peoples. Even Trump’s vice president has taken the side of black looters against looted whites, as has the Republican majority leader in the US Senate.
A middle-age woman has been arrested for beating an elderly man with a brick.
The assault happened in South Los Angeles on July 4th, after 92-year-old Rodolfo Rodriguez was said to have bumped into a young girl who was walking with 30-year-old Laquisha Jones at around 8pm.
Rodriguez fell unconscious when Jones reportedly struck him from behind with a piece of concrete.
A neighbor of Rodriguez, Misbel Borjas, was driving by when she says she saw Jones push him down and start beating him.
Borjas claims she heard Jones tell Rodriguez, “Go back to your country,” or, “Go back to Mexico.”
“It was racist,” Borjas described.
A Portland, Oregon, nonprofit has launched a “Reparations Happy Hour” that offers black, brown and indigenous attendees $10 at the door — with the cash primarily coming from white donors, organizers said.
The first happy hour on Monday evening drew 40 black, brown and indigenous locals to the bar Backyard Social, where organizers gave out a corresponding $400, according to Cameron Whitten, the 27-year-old who hosted the event through the nonprofit Brown Hope.
“If folks say they want diversity in this community, they need to invest in it,” Whitten said. “These spaces are critical, and these spaces need to be paid for by white people.”
