QUOTES OF THE DAY

“Remember, my brothers and sisters, that few of you were wise in the world’s eyes or powerful or wealthy when God called you. God chooses those that the world considers foolish in order to shame those who think they are wise. And He chooses those that are powerless to shame those who are powerful.

God has chosen things despised by the world, small things counted as nothing at all, and has used them to bring to nothing what the world considers important. As a result, no one can ever presume to boast in the presence of God.”

1 Corinthians 1:26-29

“Not everyone who calls out to me, ‘Lord, Lord’, will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only those who obey the will of my Father. On the last day many will say, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ And I will say to them, ‘Depart. I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.’”

Matt 7:21-26

“Do not consider his appearance or his height, for I have rejected him. The Lord does not look at the things people look at. People judge by outward appearance, but the Lord looks into the heart.”

1 Samuel 16:7

“We have been called to heal wounds, to unite what has fallen apart, and to bring home those who have lost their way.”

Francis of Assisi, Fioretti di San Francesco

QUOTES OF THE DAY

“I tremble for my country when I reflect that God is just: that his justice cannot sleep for ever: that considering numbers, nature and natural means only, a revolution of the wheel of fortune, an exchange of situation, is among possible events: that it may become probable by supernatural interference.”

Thomas Jefferson, Notes On the State of Virginia

“Do not be deceived, for God is not mocked. What a man sows, so shall he reap.”

Gal 6:7

“‘Why is it that you have contrived this deed in your heart? You have not lied to man, but to God.’ When Ananias heard these words, he fell down and breathed his last. And a great fear came upon all who heard of this. Some young men came forward, wrapped up his body, carried him out, and buried him.”

Acts 5:4-6

“Christ has no body now but yours. No hands, no feet on earth but yours. Yours are the eyes through which he looks compassion on this world. Yours are the feet with which he walks to do good. Yours are the hands through which he blesses all the world.”

Teresa d’Ávila

Pew: Majority of Americans Still Believe in God

Via Townhall

A new poll published by Pew on Wednesday provides many revelations about views on God in the United States.

The poll says that previous surveys have shown the number of people who absolutely believe in God has declined in recent years, while the number of those who have doubts of God’s existence or don’t believe in it at all is rising. But despite the trends of the numbers, the results of the latest poll show that there is still ample reason to believe that God is still a major force in American life.

When U.S. adults were asked whether or not they believe in God, four-in-five (80 percent) said that they do. More specifically, 56 percent of adults surveyed said that they believe in God “as described in the Bible.”

FAITH: A Light in a Dark Fun-House of Mirrors

Last week I experienced a loss which represented a part of my existence for the last fifteen years. The loss doesn’t matter now as much as the sadness and grief currently experienced. A door has been closed. Others will open someday, but that can’t be adequately processed right now.  Sadness and grief are inherent to the human endeavor. This too, shall pass.

In my own experience, transitions are valleys and mountain-tops; hallways and doors. I don’t understand – and yet I realize every experience I ever had, and every choice I ever made, put me right here in this place.  What does one do when they don’t know what to do?  Sit and stew? React? Find peace?  Some words come to mind that are a minor variation from a poem I once wrote during a transition of long ago:

…Do you see and hear, then use your reason?

For everything, a time and a season

Do you fight with your might and exercise your will?

Or stay quiet and peaceful and just be still?

All of these contain blessings and each one’s a curse

And if time were money they’ll empty your purse…..

Destiny Looms: Choose Your Way or it Drags You

By Doug “Uncola” Lynn via TheBurningPlatform.com

But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come:

– 2 Timothy 3:3

– Fate leads the willing and drags along the reluctant.

Posting articles online, especially for readers of high intelligence, can be quite a balancing act.  In fact, with certain topics, it is like walking a tightrope while wearing ice-skates in a crosswind.  At times, the tightrope represents the delicate balance between the cerebral hemispheres.  According to Left- Brain Right-Brain Theory, the left-brained technicians incline towards logic, analysis, and objectivity, and the right-brained artisans are intuitive, subjective, and romantic.

Although I can play either side, I personally favor the creative aspects of artistic, conceptual visualization. This may be why left-brained people rarely get my jokes. For instance, if I wrote how mechanical engineers design weapons and civil engineers design targets, there would be comments in the ensuing thread informing me that both types of engineers design FAR more than just those two categories.  Even more importantly, extreme caution must be applied to never get the science wrong, ever.  Make one mistake and medieval heretics burned at the stake will gaze up from hell and say:  “There but for the grace of God, go we” as the left-brainers, with smoking pens in melted shirt pocket-protectors, dance upon my ashes.

So it’s a fine line.

Pictorial Sermon: — “Lord, help thou my unbelief!”

The quote in the title is attributed to the Apostle Thomas, aka Doubting Thomas, because he didn’t believe Jesus actually rose from the dead.  At least Jesus gave him the opportunity to assuage his doubt when Jesus said to Thomas — “Reach your finger here, and look at My hands; and reach your hand here, and put it into My side. Do not be unbelieving, but believing.”

Why doesn’t God do that for people today??  Why allow people to not believe, when he darn well CAN  provide proofs for us doubters and/or unbelievers? It would be so easy since, well, you know … GOD!  But, noooo, rather than provide some quick and easy proof, what what we get is <Poof!!>, go straight to hell, do not collect $200.

Of course, a Christian will tell you that God has already provided all the proof you’ll ever need. Here are the Biggies:

QUOTES OF THE DAY

“And can the liberties of a nation be thought secure when we have removed their only firm basis, a conviction in the minds of the people that these liberties are the gift of God? That they are not to be violated but with his wrath? Indeed I tremble for my country when I reflect that God is just: that his justice cannot sleep for ever.”

Thomas Jefferson, Notes on the State of Virginia

“We all want progress. But progress means getting nearer to the place where you want to be. And if you have taken a wrong turning, then to go forward does not get you any nearer. If you are on the wrong road, progress means doing an about-turn and walking back to the right road; and in that case the man who turns back soonest is the most progressive man.”

C.S. Lewis, Mere Christianity

Stucky QOTD: Brain Zapping

Brand new scientific  Findings

1. Stimulating someone’s brain with magnetic pulses is enough to change their taste in music, according to new research.

2. Not only did the treatment alter the way participants rated music, it even affected the amount of money they were willing to spend on it.

3. This is the first time anyone has manipulated brain circuitry to change the way people think.

Believers and non-believers, ponder the picture below while considering the above three new findings.

The Dead Soul of Stephen Paddock

Guest Post by Patrick J. Buchanan

What was his motive? Why did he do it?

Why did Stephen Paddock, 64, rent rooms at the Mandalay Bay hotel, sneak in an arsenal of guns, a dozen of them converted to fully automatic, and rain down death on a country music concert?

“We will never know,” writes columnist Eugene Robinson.

“There can be no rational argument for mass murder … nothing can really explain the decision to spray thousands of concert-goers with automatic weapons fire, killing at least 59 and injuring hundreds more.”

But while there can be no justification for mass murder, there is an explanation. And like Edgar Allan Poe’s “Purloined Letter,” it is right there in front of us, in plain sight.

Thank God for Israel!!! Really.

This is for all the Joo bashers — led by the Trinity Of Evil (TOE). It is for bb,  getting his crappy heart fixed … probably by a Joo doctor. For Yojimbo, a Christian who’s heart is filled with so much hate.  For Zara,  a Persian wannabe who loves the false gods, Zorro and Tonto,  and who will spend eternity in hell unless he comes home to YHWH.

For all those ‘on the fence’ … whom the stinky TOE has tried to influence … let the terrific article below be your education.  Just remember these basic facts that we, the Righteous Ones, having been trying to teach you …

—1) God blesses those who bless Israel!

—2) Israel is a great nation, our only reliable friend in the ME.

—3) God bless America. God bless Israel. It is a match made in heaven!

Shalom!

Stucky QOTD: Is God Sick Of Black People?

Before you answer, please watch as much of this as you can.

My answer,  which is based upon many years of Biblical study, as well as fact-checking God’s prophet, Dr. Manning (PBUH) is;  Yes, indeed! God is sick and tired of your shit, so stop it, lest you fry in hell!!

Stucky QOTD: GOD Is Back In Town!

Today, I believe, is the most pivotal time in all of America’s history.

So, here’s your question:

Image result for god chooses donald trump

Before you answer, briefly consider these four things;

1)- ” … there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God.” — Rom 13:1

2)- “In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last Trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.” ——- 1 Cor 15:52

3)- “For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the Trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first”  ——- 1 Thess 4:16

4)- Some (many?) people believe we are living in the End Times. If so, the book of Revelation tell us that there will be worldwide death, destruction, and disasters as never before experienced by humanity. There are only three countries who can inflict such utter destruction; USA, Russia, and China (all mentioned in the Bible) ….. and a fourth country which can/will be the spark that lights the fuse (Israel).

=====

Here’s what I think is a reasonable proposition. Just like Obama was Satan’s Chosen One …. based on the above four items, it certainly seems reasonable to believe that Trump is God’s Chosen One.

Wow. God is back in town … makin’ America great again!

What If God Is Actually A Chicken?

Image result for god is a chicken

When Yankel Morgenstern died and went to heaven, he was surprised to find that God was a large chicken. The chicken was about 30 feet tall and spoke perfect English. He stood before a glimmering, eternal coop made of chicken wire of shimmering gold. And behold, inside, a nest of diamonds. “No freaking way,” said Morgenstern. “You know,” said Chicken, “that’s the first thing everyone says when they meet me. ‘No freaking way.’ How does that make me feel?”
.
Morgenstern threw himself at Chicken’s feet, kissing his enormous, holy claws. “Hear O Israel, the Lord is your God, the Lord is one,” Morgenstern cried out. Chicken stepped back and shrugged. “Eh,” he said, bobbing his enormous head. “What?” Asked Morgenstern. “I don’t know. What’s that supposed to do for me? Hear O Israel?” he asked. “How’s it go again?” “It’s Shema,” Morgenstern said with hesitation, “The prayer. We say it twice a day.”

If God Is Dead…

Guest Post by Patrick J. Buchanan

In a recent column Dennis Prager made an acute observation.

“The vast majority of leading conservative writers … have a secular outlook on life. … They are unaware of the disaster that godlessness in the West has led to.”

These secular conservatives may think that “America can survive the death of God and religion,” writes Prager, but they are wrong.
And, indeed, the last half-century seems to bear him out.

A people’s religion, their faith, creates their culture, and their culture creates their civilization. And when faith dies, the culture dies, the civilization dies, and the people begin to die.

Is this not the recent history of the West?

Today, no great Western nation has a birthrate that will prevent the extinction of its native-born. By century’s end, other peoples and other cultures will have largely repopulated the Old Continent.

European Man seems destined to end like the 10 lost tribes of Israel — overrun, assimilated and disappeared.
