Improvise, Adapt, Overcome: Pt. 1

What America Must Do

Red, White, and Blue are nice colors for a flag.  It is easy to feel ownership of that particular palette as an American, but I remember thinking that the colors rightly stood for Liberté, Égalité, Fraternité; the French set of concepts adopted for their Revolution.  Thank goodness there is Wiki, that deep well of facts run by the Truth Ministry, to remind me that our American colors represent Valor, Purity, and Vigilance.  The Netherlands was the first to use these colors apparently, changing the original orange to red to show separation from the House of Orange.  They were becoming a Republic.  The French and Russians were thus inspired, adopting similar designs as the monarchies started to fall.  Freedom was breaking out all over, and today a whopping number of the world’s flags using these same tricolors.

Building Roads While the World Wilts

By Doug “Uncola” Lynn via TheBurningPlatform.com

As mentioned in an article last month, I have been helping out friends by driving a 10-speed triaxle dump truck (6AM to 6PM) 2 to 3 days a week this summer.

Using older but well-maintained dump trucks and newer state-of-the-art excavation equipment, six guys working full-time, plus me helping out part-time, are removing the concrete on a stretch of road and several streets in a small town located in an adjacent county. Additionally, we are coordinating with two road engineers, and conferring with local utility employees overseeing the project.  Our crew is handling the overall excavation, installation of underground drainage infrastructure, dumping the old concrete in designated land areas, hauling away dirt to two other locations, and hauling in rock from two separate quarries. All of this is being done in advance of a paving company’s final pouring of the concrete.

Where there is no vision, the people perish

– Proverbs 29:18

My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge

– Hosea 4:6

Just days ago I attended the funeral of an elderly person who was related to my wife. The week before the service, my bride had received a text informing us of the death. The message was a forwarded screenshot from someone who had angrily affirmed the deceased had received their second Covid vaccine injection just two weeks prior. The funeral was held in a country church located smack in the middle of rural nowhere; and, in a field next to the church’s adjacent cemetery, horses were grazing just yards away from the open grave.

After a traditional service featuring the old familiar hymns, and following the committal ceremony at the gravesite, a meal was served in the church basement.  As far as I knew that day, neither Covid nor the vaccines were mentioned in relation to the deceased. Instead, the service was a celebration of a Christian life; and with the joys and sorrows shared in poignant ways.

A Short History Of Christmas In America

What is wrong with the picture below? Everything.

Jesus wasn’t born on Dec.25th … or, even in December.  He wasn’t visited by three Kings. Christmas trees had nothing to do with it. He wasn’t born in a barn/stable surrounded by farm animals. He wasn’t laid on a wooden manger.  There was no literal star, or other celestial body, hovering over Bethlehem.  Two gospels conflict whether or not Jesus was even born in Bethlehem.  We don’t know if angels were present at the manger. And until  about 400 A.D., the early church knew absolutely nothing about celebrating Jesus’ birth.

What Will Be the New American Cause?

Guest Post by Pat Buchanan

What Will Be the New American Cause?

If Trump wins, borders will be tightened. The U.S. withdrawal from the Mideast will continue. U.S. manufacturing will begin to be repatriated. Transnational institutions will be downgraded, ignored and superseded. The watchword will be what it has lately been: “America First.”

After the Great Pandemic has passed and we emerge from Great Depression II, what will be America’s mission in the world?

What will be America’s cause?

We have been at such a turning point before.

I despair for America

Guest Post by Thaisleeze

So it is Sunday in America, a country facing one of the biggest crises in its history. Two areas of the country are in need of help.

The financial markets have taken a hit, a harsh one for sure, but this is what markets do. No matter, by Monday morning the Federal Reserve, to whom Congress has delegated all power over such matters, has announced a bailout, unlimited in its amount and extent, all backed by the American taxpayer. All taken care of by a group of unelected academics living in their ivory towers.

Thanks to diligent work by Wallstreetonparade.com and others, we know that in the last crisis the Federal Reserve secretly shoveled $29 trillion to banks, foreign as well as domestic. The total for the butcher’s bill this time will once again be a closely guarded secret but is hardly likely to be lower this time around, but rest assured, not a single dollar will make it as far as main street.

Time To Put Americans Back In Charge Of America

Submitted by David Erickson

Members of the “right” and “alt-right” love to use terms such as “the establishment,” “Deep State,” “globalists,” etc., in describing freedom’s political enemies. And, yes, I often use those terms too. For the sake of brevity, I will refer to the above as simply “the ruling class.”

Seldom, however, do conservatives identify who actually comprises the ruling class. Typically when using those terms, conservatives are attacking Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton and liberal Democrats in general.

While it is doubtlessly true that many liberal Democrats are pawns of the ruling class, so are many conservative Republicans. The ruling class monopolizes the philosophies, priorities and policies of both major parties in Washington, D.C.

Ten Insane, Completely Irrational Things Millions Of Americans Believe As We Enter The 2020s

Authored by Mike Adams via NaturalNews.com,

The 2020s may one day be called the “decade of insanity,” given all the insane things believed by a surprisingly large number of people. The frantic beliefs of these people are, of course, driving them to the brink of insanity. We see this with Greta Thunberg and the climate change lunatics, who are all convinced the world will literally be destroyed in 10 years if we don’t stop using fossil fuels (that’s item #3, see below).

When the masses can be convinced that they are all going to die, they tend to become rather crazed and irrational. And that’s where we are today in America, no longer the “land of the free” but rather the “cesspool of the insane,” led by psycho-terrorism organizations known as CNN, the Washington Post and the New York Times. They’ve all abandoned journalism and now prioritize carrying out acts of psychological terrorism (or what I’ve called “journo-terrorism”) against the American people.

How America Has Changed

Guest Post by Steve Candidus (Steve C)

LLPOH wrote a most interesting article about how Europe has changed so much in his most recent visit to the way it was years ago that it got me to thinking about how America has changed. Specifically, what would happen if I were able to visit the America that I grew up in, in the 1950s and 1960s.

I was perusing some old videos on YouTube and came upon a set of videos about the New York World’s Fair of 1964 and 1965. I was twelve years old and living on Long Island at the time and I visited the fair at least a dozen or more times in its two years of existence.

America’s Well-Documented Decline Amid Wars in the Air

By Doug “Uncola” Lynn via TheBurningPlatform.com

In 1976, some of the families sharing older ancestral lineages in my hometown were asked to march together in our bicentennial parade.  Although I was at an age where I found it somewhat embarrassing, I did enjoy waving at my friends and schoolmates along the way. Especially the girls.

Although the Saccharine Seventies manifested as a tarnishing patina on the silver platter of Norman Rockwell’s America, much of the shine still remained then in my hometown; even in the years before Ronald Reagan’s repolishing as the table was set again for his 1984 “Morning in America” commercial.

ACLU Complains: “Trump Used the Word ‘America’ More Than 80 Times”

(CNSNews.com) – The American Civil Liberties Union — note the word “American” in its title — complained Tuesday night about President Trump’s repeated use of the word “America” in his State of the Union speech.

In a written response to Trump’s speech, Faiz Shakir, the ACLU’s national political director, said:

Tonight, President Trump said the word ‘America’ more than 80 times in his speech. Yet, after a divisive first year, we hear and feel how exclusionary that ‘America’ is, with policies that have harmed so many vulnerable American communities. The ACLU stands ready to protect these communities, both in the courts and at the polls.

In particular, the immigration plan put forth by Trump would hold Dreamers hostage to his demands for a harmful border wall and an even larger mass deportation force. We are at this crossroads because of the President’s deeply destructive ideas fomented by his nativist allies and divisive rhetoric. We will continue to stand up for these young immigrants and ensure they continue to contribute to our country. We cannot let America’s Dreamers be deported.

Firing the Pre-Pubertal Arquebus: A Sociological Treatise

Guest Post by Fred Reed

Today we will ponder America, a country, even a civilization, that existed long ago where the United States is today, but bore little resemblance to it. It will be like studying cave drawings, or Sargon of Akkad. Pay attention. The is original source material of historical importance.

I was there, in America: Athens, Alabama, at age twelve.

Athens was small and Southern, drowsy in summer, kind of comfortable feeling, not much concerned with the outside world. It left the world alone and the world left it alone. In those days, people in a lot of places figured this was pretty workable.

Kids went barefoot. So help me. After about two weeks in spring your feet got tough and you could walk on anything, except maybe gravelly black asphalt that got hotter than the hinges. Parents let you do it. Today I guess it would be a hate crime, and you’d get an ambulance, three squad cars and Child Protective Services all honking and blowing and being important. We didn’t know we  needed protecting. Maybe we didn’t.

Pictorial: American Animosity Ambling Amuck

This Russia Collusion thing has been going on for one year now. I’m not interested in debating whether or not Trump colluded. I am interested in examining the massive hypocrisy emanating from our government, and on display daily in living color from MSM  whores, prostitutes, traitors, teleprompter readers. Who among us Dirt People isn’t amazed that our politicians can feign their fake indignant shock that such a thing could happen …. for, surely, America would never do such a thing!

The fact is that we  treat the world like a giant outhouse, a place where we shit upon any nation we choose, at the time of our choosing, and then pretend outrage when they return the favor. Not that there’s anything wrong with this. Because, there isn’t, right? It’s how the world works.

How Helen of Troy Got Away With Murder

Just a terrific little story comparing events from the Helen of Troy era with America today, how our Legion Of Psychopaths get away with shit  …. and somehow tying events thousands of years apart in a seamless narrative. I thought it was a great read.

If you only want to read about the Troy comparison, that section is between the = signs.

If you want to get away with anything, you need only one skill: distraction.

Stucky Sunday QOTD: Witches. Trump. Christianity.

Normally, when I add text to a QOTD, it is just to support my own answers or, to show why the question is interesting. Today is different.  You really need to read the article (only 1,100 words) before answering the question. So solly.

If you are a Holy Roller, try not to bust a vein, puke, pray to Jeebus for my damned soul, or faint.  For once in your little lives of closed-loop thinking, try to see things with an open mind, and from the perspective of the “other”.  It won’t kill you if you do that for 5 minutes, I promise. If not possible, read it anyway, then maybe you can quick go find a Safe Space.
