The Recognition Of Reality Destroys The Dystopian Dreams Of The Borg

By Doug “Uncola” Lynn via TheBurningPlatform.com

– The Borg are an alien group that appear as recurring antagonists in the Star Trek franchise. The Borg are cybernetic organisms linked in a hive mind called “the Collective”. The Borg co-opt the technology and knowledge of other alien species to the Collective through the process of “assimilation”: forcibly transforming individual beings into “drones” by injecting nanoprobes into their bodies and surgically augmenting them with cybernetic components. The Borg’s ultimate goal is “achieving perfection”…

You will be assimilated.  Resistance is futile.

In an article last month, I mentioned virus expert Geert Vanden Bossche and his prediction of mass deaths soon going “exponential” in highly Covid-vaccinated countries.

Since posting that article, I’ve learned through one of my part-time jobs that two younger-aged people died within a day of each other.  One was age 37 and the other was in their low forties.  The younger of the two died of a heart attack and the 40ish person’s death was, supposedly, according to the doctor, the result of a previously unknown congenital heart defect.

I don’t know if either, or both, of the deceased were mRNA-vaxxed, but, given the employers’ health/service-related fields… as well as the Covid-era deception and pervasive fear in the particular urban enclave, I would say the odds favor both of them as having received the shots.

The Metaphysics Underlying The Sunset of the West

By Doug “Uncola” Lynn via TheBurningPlatform.com

There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way of death.

-Proverbs 16:25

The heart is deceitful above all things…

-Jeremiah 17:9

When small men cast big shadows, it means the sun is setting.

– Lin Yutang, Chinese philosopher

Upon the recommendation of a blog commenter, I recently read “The Crisis of Modernity”  by Italian professor and philosopher, Augusto Del Noce (1910 – 1989).  The book was published in 2014 and is a brilliant compilation of twentieth-century essays and speeches by Del Noce.  His philosophical insights are profound and his conclusions and societal predictions, especially regarding Scientism and the Technocracy, are eerily similar to those of English author and theologian C.S. Lewis  – see my previous posts entitled “The Abolition of Man Amid the Consequences of Reality”,  and “Gnostic Parasitism in the Post-Modern Simulacrum”, and “A Postmortem on Postmodernism”.

We Are Being Put In Chains

Guest Post by Paul Craig Roberts

My December 6 address to the European Conference on the Revival of Fascism

The Revival of Fascism in the 21st Century

Center for Geostrategic Studies, Belgrade, December 6-8, 2022

My appreciation to those with the foresight to organize this conference.

I limit my remarks to definitional clarity.  By “fascism” I assume we mean not merely economic corporation between government and private business, but the over-riding of citizens’ values and opinions by powerful groups in control of governing.  We mean by fascism the ignoring and suppression of popular opinion.

They Won’t Awaken for Fear of Losing the Dream

By Doug “Uncola” Lynn via TheBurningPlatform.com

The great citizens of a country are not those who bend the knee before authority but rather those who, against authority if need be, are adamant as to the honor and freedom of that country.

– Albert Camus, Resistance, Rebellion, and Death

The task of men…is not to desert historical struggles nor to serve the cruel and inhuman elements in those struggles. It is rather to remain what they are, to help man against what is oppressing him, to favor freedom against the fatalities that close in upon it.…Man’s greatness…lies in his decision to be greater than his condition. And if his condition is unjust, he has only one way of overcoming it, which is to be just himself.

– Albert Camus, Resistance, Rebellion, and Death

Those familiar with the story of Noah’s Ark will know the ancient patriarch, as described in the Bible’s Book of Genesis, built a ship to ensure his family’s lineage through a great global flood. The mass population of Noah’s day would not survive the coming carnage and the people lived without any knowledge of what was about to happen. Perhaps they even ridiculed Noah and his family for building the ark. Regardless, the Walking Dead lived the dream until their world ended, abruptly, in a deluge that swept them to their respective deaths.

The Year of the New Normal Fascist

Guest Post by CJ Hopkins

And so, as 2021 goose-steps toward its fanatical finish, it is time for my traditional year-end wrap-up. It’s “The Year of the Ox” in the Chinese zodiac, but I’m christening it “The Year of the New Normal Fascist.”

And what a phenomenally fascist year it has been!

I’m not talking amateur fascism. I am talking professional Class-A fascism. Government and corporate sanctified fascism. Bug-eyed, spittle-flecked, hate-drunk fascism. I’m talking mobs of New Normal fascists shrieking hatred and threats at “the Unvaccinated” as they are dragged off “Vaccinated Only” trains, painting Nazi-era messages on their windows of their stores, leaders of government fomenting mass hatred, TV commentators literally quoting sadistic Nazi SS doctors, leftists going full-fascist on Facebook, concentration camps, Goebbelsian propaganda, censorship of dissent … the whole nine yards.

Dear Remnant: The Best Things in Life are Free

By Doug “Uncola” Lynn via TheBurningPlatform.com

An online friend and fellow blogger posted an article on his website last month entitled: “It’s a Fourth Turning, What Did You Expect?”.  Since then, the question has roiled in my mind and my answer remains: “not this”.  Recent events and circumstances are NOT what I expected because, honestly, they are more bizarre than I would have imagined.

Keep in mind the words you’re reading were typed by someone who has been waiting for the bombs to drop since high school. I’ve always had a sense of doom – perhaps due to my curious mind and my innate willingness to apply logic. As a result, I went Galt in the spring of 2011, or about 6 months before Ann Barnhardt, the commodities broker who joined Galt’s Gulch upon typing her epic letter against the corrupt collapse of MF Global.

As a member of Strauss and Howe’s Nomad Generation, my personal alarm bells went off around the time of the Judge Bork non-confirmation and the concurrent Black Monday, in 1987. Next came the stained blue dress, hanging chads, 911, The War on Terror, TARP, and Obamacare. By that time, I figured the jig was up.  Then, it was the Benghazi/YouTube clownshow and by the time the red line in Syria was crossed, I was nestled into my allegorical “bunker” waiting for the TV screens to go static.

Now, Covidism? Nope. Definitely not the Fourth Turning I expected.

The Borg Says: “Assimilate or Starve!”

By Doug “Uncola” Lynn via TheBurningPlatform.com

Communism

: a totalitarian system of government in which a single authoritarian party controls state-owned means of production

Democrat Party Leader, Creepy Joe Biden, on September 9, 2021:

“So tonight, I’m announcing that the Department of Labor is developing an emergency rule to require all employers with 100 or more employees that together employ over 80 million workers to ensure their workforces are fully vaccinated or show a negative test at least once a week.”

Obviously, the billionaires and organizations behind The Great Reset®, in coordination with Big Pharma, have taken control of the CDC and WHO in order to force Covid mandates upon the entire world.

Of course, the billionaires and organizations behind The Great Reset® have also publically professed the need for global “sustainability” and depopulation.

The Goal of Covidism is Communism

By Doug “Uncola” Lynn via TheBurningPlatform.com

Most of us have heard the phrase: “The goal of socialism is communism”.  Perhaps, at its core, the statement is a reference to creeping incrementalism, or, stated another way:  Give Marxism an inch and it takes a mile.

Just like Covidism: it was given an inch and it took a mile.  In only eighteen months America advanced, incrementally, from Flatten the Curve® and lockdowns to mandatory vaccinations:  All because of a virus that mostly endangers the elderly and those with serious health concerns.

From an economic standpoint, Covidism, like socialism, has allowed for some capitalism over the last year and a half: a centralized form of capitalism, to be sure, as some workers and businesses were defined as “essential” and others deemed more equal were financially subsidized by the state.

How Fascism Comes to America

Guest Post by Doug Casey via International Man

fascism

I think there are really only two good reasons for having a significant amount of money: To maintain a high standard of living and to ensure your personal freedom.

There are other, lesser reasons, of course, including: to prove you can do it, to compensate for failings in other things, to impress others, to leave a legacy, to help perpetuate your genes, or maybe because you just can’t think of something better to do with your time.

But I’ll put aside those lesser motives, which I tend to view as psychological foibles.

Basically, money gives you the freedom to do what you’d like – and when, how, and with whom you prefer to do it. Money allows you to have things and do things and can even assist you to be something you want to be. Unfortunately, money is a chimera in today’s world and will wind up savaging billions in the years to come.

QUOTES OF THE DAY

“When Fascism came into power, most people were unprepared, both theoretically and practically. They were unable to believe that man could exhibit such propensities for evil, such lust for power, such disregard for the rights of the weak, or such yearning for submission. Only a few had been aware of the rumbling of the volcano preceding the outbreak.”

Erich Fromm, Escape from Freedom

“I understand why an equality that was founded upon God involved neither contradiction nor disorder. Demagogy enters at the moment when, for want of a common denominator, the principle of equality degenerates into the principle of identity.”

Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, Flight to Arras

“Fascism begins the moment a ruling class, fearing the people may use their political democracy to gain economic democracy, begins to destroy political democracy in order to retain its power of exploitation and special privilege.”

Thomas Clement Douglas

QUOTES OF THE DAY

“Fascism will come to America wrapped in a flag.”

Sinclair Lewis

“Everything that is really great and inspiring is created by the individual who can labor in freedom.”

Albert Einstein

“No one has deputized America to play Wyatt Earp to the world.”

Pat Buchanan

“Whatever power you give politicians and bureaucrats to use against other people will eventually be used by future politicians and bureaucrats against you.”

As the Games Begin: The One about the Jews, the Baby, & the Bathwater

By Doug “Uncola” Lynn via TheBurningPlatform.com

Certainly any one who has the power to make you believe absurdities has the power to make you commit injustices.

– Voltaire. (1765). “Questions sur les Miracles”.

This blogger has posted over 120 original essays since the fall of 2016. With topics ranging from politics to philosophy, I’ve strived to be true for the most part; and, at the very least, accurate.  In so doing, I would attempt to find three separate ways to vet source material – and, in my mind at least, I’ve built some trust with the readers and believe my essays, so far, have stood the test of time.  But if I ever wrote anything blatantly false, everything written henceforth by me, as well as my past articles, should be viewed with greater suspicion by the readers; and for good reason.

Accordingly, we are very fortunate to have the internet; at the very least, for its processing capabilities.  It is in the digital rooms of the interwebic blogosphere where intelligent people face-off in a virtual mixed-martial-arts cage fight where free thought and speech, link attributions, and interactive media, are traded like jabs, uppercuts, body-blows, and roundhouse kicks.  Using the ethernet to test ideas could also be compared to running software at the speed of light, with multiple programming variations, and zero real life consequences; until, that is, we choose to apply the computations. And this is when it becomes risky business.

The State of the Union: These Are Dangerous Times, and the Government Is To Blame

Guest Post by John W. Whitehead

“As I look at America today, I am not afraid to say that I am afraid.”—Bertram Gross, Friendly Fascism: The New Face of Power in America

These are dangerous times.

Mind you, when I say that these are dangerous times, it is not because of violent crime, which remains at an all-time low, or because of terrorism, which is statistically rare, or because our borders are being invaded by armies, which data reports from the Department of Homeland Security refute.

No, the real danger that we face comes from none other than the U.S. government and the powers it has granted to its standing army to steal, cheat, harass, detain, brutalize, terrorize, torture and kill.

“This Is Fascism”: Shocking Footage Of Spanish Police Firing Rubber Bullets, Brutally Beating Peaceful Voters

If you ever wondered whose side the police would take when the shit hits the fan here in the corporate fascist states of America, look no further than Spain for your answer. The police will side with the surveillance state that pays their salary. They are not your friends.
Tyler Durden's picture

In scenes one would expect to see in Turkey, or some token third-world dictatorship, on Sunday morning Spanish riot police violently cracked down on the scheduled Catalan independence referendum, smashing their way into polling stations in Catalonia in a dramatic quest to shut down the banned Catalan independence referendum, as they fired rubber bullets and brutally beat peaceful people trying to vote for or against independence from a Spanish government, which many commentators this morning have called “fascist.”
