WE WENT TO THE MOON – COUNT ON IT

“…If they can get you asking the wrong questions, they don’t have to worry about their answers…” — Thomas Pynchon – American novelist

Recently there was an article published here that we never went to the moon. That it was all a hoax. It not only created a lot of comments supportive of it, but it lead to a whole `nother discussion of ‘The flat Earth’ and some people’s support of that.

That was just too much for me. I have remained silent for some time about this moon landing thing, but no more. So for the record I will say that “Yes, we did go to the moon.”

I will describe why I believe that as I take apart the previous article.

Moon Landing Deniers – Here’s Your Proof

Moon Landing Deniers – Here’s Your Proof

The internet has all the video proof you need. Just a quick search and I found so many videos that absolutely prove we went to the moon. Why keep on about missing stars and dust on the lander when a simple search will give you the answers.

For example, here we see videos of astronauts on the moon. There is no way this could be faked. Not even Quentin Tarantino would have thought of putting a stumble in the frolicking, not just once, but multiple times. And how would you fake that slow-mo jumping? You can’t because the Chinese only invented wire work much later in cinema and they weren’t part of NASA.

Back to the Moon and Beyond – True or False?

Submitted by: aka.attrition

Source: NASA

“Nasa’s mega moon rocket Artemis 1 launches successfully, lifts off to the moon (and beyond). During #Artemis I, Orion will lift off aboard the Space Launch System (SLS) rocket, and travel 280,000 miles (450,000 km) from Earth and 40,000 miles (64,000 km) beyond the far side of the Moon, carrying science and technology payloads to expand our understanding of lunar science, technology developments, and deep space radiation. Through Artemis missions, NASA will land the first woman and the first person of color on the Moon, paving the way for a long-term lunar presence and serving as a stepping stone to send astronauts to Mars. We are going.” – More: https://www.nasa.gov/artemis

THIS DAY IN HISTORY – Kennedy proposes joint mission to the moon – 1963

Via History.com

An optimistic and upbeat President John F. Kennedy suggests that the Soviet Union and the United States cooperate on a mission to mount an expedition to the moon. The proposal caught both the Soviets and many Americans off guard.

Apollo Moon Missions: The Right Stuff and American Know-How

Guest Post by H.A. Furst

July 20 marks 50 years since our nation’s astronauts landed the lunar module on the Moon in what may arguably be the greatest technological achievement of modern time. I remember where I was, as a kid, that 1969 evening watching Neil Armstrong and Edwin “Buzz” Aldrin become the first humans and Americans to walk on the Moon. The relevance of that moment in time, the culmination of untold hours of human resources contributing to its realization, is not lost to me, particularly given the current debate on legal immigration and the recent vote on H.R. 1044, and upcoming vote on S. 386.

THIS DAY IN HISTORY – Neil Armstrong walks on moon – 1969 – Or did he?

Via History.com

At 10:56 p.m. EDT, American astronaut Neil Armstrong, 240,000 miles from Earth, speaks these words to more than a billion people listening at home: “That’s one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind.” Stepping off the lunar landing module Eagle, Armstrong became the first human to walk on the surface of the moon.

President orders NASA to send astronauts back to the moon

I’m sure Hardscrabble Farmer will have an opinion about us going “back” to the moon. I wonder if Ridley Scott is busy.

Trump signed a directive that formally orders NASA to send humans back to the moon. The object of the lunar mission will then be to build a foundation needed to send humans onto Mars. Buzz Aldrin, the second man to walk on the moon, attended the event, as did Apollo astronaut and former senator Jack Schmitt.

Stucky Intervention #1: HF

Hardscrabble Farmer says — “We did not land on the moon.”

This is amazing, and I gave him some shit for it. Kinda like this …..

However, that’s not helpful.

If you like and admire HF, and it seems that most here do, then help him out via this “intervention”.  He seems worth saving. Show him the error of his ways.

Note:  — Ignore any attempts by HF to halt this intervention. He  might say “I don’t need it!“,  or “I don’t care!”, or sundry other excuses.  This is what these people do.  The Road To Denial leads to destruction. So, help him out, regardless. Lead him to The Road Of Sanity.

As a side benefit, you’ll probably be helping out Bea Lever also — as he loves every and all conspiracies.

Several others here need interventions as well.  I’ll get to you in due time.

If you don’t like the idea of an “intervention”, then think of it as a Question Of The Day —- “Did we land on the fucken’ moon, or not?”
