Cliché Series # 5: Perceiving Profiles Confined Within Certain Configurations

By Doug “Uncola” Lynn via TheBurningPlatform.com

Whenever anyone uses the term conspiracy theory or calls someone a conspiracy theorist in any debate, they are, in most instances, revealing their own contempt prior to investigation.  This is, in fact, an exemplification of prejudice even by those claiming their minds are open.  In truth, they are not willing to consider any evidence that might challenge what they have previously decided to be untrue, or unproven; these, of course, being two very separate prospects.

If people were intellectually honest they would acknowledge, at the very least, the POSSIBILITY of SOME truth behind what they designate as “conspiracy”. Or, should they wish to engage in the discussion, they would debate using opposing facts; or any additional contravening corroboration behind their perspectives and ideological positioning.

Stabbing With Their Steely Knives, They Just Can’t Kill the Beast

By Doug “Uncola” Lynn via TheBurningPlatform.com

You were blameless in your ways from the day you were created till wickedness was found in you. Through your widespread trade you were filled with violence, and you sinned. So I drove you in disgrace from the mount of God, and I expelled you, guardian cherub, from among the fiery stones. Your heart became proud on account of your beauty, and you corrupted your wisdom because of your splendor…

– Ezekiel 28: 15-17

In horror stories originating from the times of the first songs there have always been common enemies.  Creatures of sinister intelligence, blind violence, disingenuity, clever crafters of schemes, or often containing the capacity for all of these; lurking in the dark, or hidden in plain sight, but always waiting and watching.  Little Red Riding Hood and the Three Little Pigs suffered through the antics of wily wolves. Rapunzel and Hansel and Gretel agonized before the wicked wills of warted witches; and with Jack of Beanstalk fame it was jeering giants who longed to grind his bones for bread, alive or dead.  Star Wars had Darth Vader and the Lords of the Sith, whereas it was the evil eye of Sauron that ruled over J.R.R Tolkien’s shadowy land of Mordor.  And for most of the world’s religions today it remains Lucifer, the morning star, who fell from heaven by the weight of a prideful heart and now reigns as the Prince and Power of the Air; tempting, taunting, and tantalizing, all of mankind.

Cliché Series # 3: Dissimulators Dispersing Disingenuous Dangers

By Doug “Uncola” Lynn via TheBurningPlatform.com

The 2016 Presidential Election was quite the spectacle. During the primaries we watched Donald Trump go politically-incorrect Rambo on sixteen milquetoast republicans whose names I can’t recall right now.  During the Democratic Primaries, Bernie “Santa Claus” Sanders kept winning state after state; yet the superdelegates all fell into Hillary’s column.  In fact, after Sanders won eight out of nine primary contests by double digits, Clinton received more superdelegates in an electioneering process that even the Democratic National Committee (DNC) chair, Debbie Wasserman Shultz, admitted was rigged for the politically elite against “grassroots” candidates.  What a con.

They Live: Choose Before You Die

By Doug “Uncola” Lynn via TheBurningPlatform.com

Sometimes, during the summers, I like to stay up late.  When not reading or writing, I will usually resort to watching a series on television.  I enjoy series because the character development and storylines are far more in-depth than what is viewed in a mere two-hour movie; although I do watch them as well.  On HBO, I have experienced The Sopranos, The Wire, Boardwalk Empire, Deadwood, True Blood, and a few others.  On AMC, it was Breaking Bad and I still watch The Walking Dead. What I like about Netflix, however, is the ability to access a virtual cornucopia of diverse programming on any device; at home, on the road, and easily “un-paused” with the flick-of-a-finger anytime, anywhere, within the matrix.

An Inquiry into Values: Men and the Art of Life-Cycle Governance

By Doug “Uncola” Lynn via TheBurningPlatform.com

Society is a wave. The wave moves onward, but the water of which it is composed does not. The same particle does not rise from the valley to the ridge. Its unity is only phenomenal.  The persons who make up a nation today, next year die, and their experience dies with them.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, “Self-Reliance”, paragraph 48.

Our current modes of rationality are not moving society forward into a better world. They are taking it further and further from that better world.

Robert M. Pirsig, “Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance”, Chapter 10

A MAN’S JOURNEY

On April 24th, 2017, an author and philosopher by the name of Robert M. Pirsig passed from this world.  Pirsig, born in 1928, was best known for his 1974 book “Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance” which is a semi-autographical account of his personal philosophical exploration into the concept of “quality”.

At the age of 9, Pirsig’s IQ measured at 170 and, at the age of 15, he enrolled at the University of Minnesota to study biochemistry.  After becoming disillusioned with the validity of the Scientific Method’s ability to genuinely reduce seemingly unlimited numbers of hypotheses, Pirsig’s attention diverted from his studies and, within two years, he was expelled for poor academic performance.  At the age of 18, Pirsig joined the Army and developed an interest in Eastern culture and philosophy while stationed in South Korea.  He eventually returned to college and obtained degrees in chemistry, philosophy, and journalism.  He also studied Oriental philosophy at Benares Hindu University in India.

THE HORROR! THE HORROR! (PART THREE)

In Part One and Part Two of this article I detailed the decades of propaganda, false flags, and misinformation campaigns used by the Deep State to gain power and control over the U.S. government. When war or a financial crisis is necessary to keep the profits flowing, events will be steered to such an outcome. With the latest financial plundering operation running out of steam, the Deep State is pushing the world toward global conflict.

If at first you don’t succeed with a false flag gas attack, try try again. Knowing a vast swath of the American populace is incapable of critical thinking or able to discern between fake news and factual events, the Deep State and their media lackeys unquestioningly promoted the story of children being killed by a sarin gas attack by Assad. The photos of rescue workers helping victims without gloves immediately invalidated the narrative, as the rescue workers would be dead if they handled sarin gas victims without protective gear.

The faux journalists, pretending to be neutral observers, did not question this blatant lie. They did not ponder why Assad would commit such an idiotic atrocity when he was clearly in control of the battlefield and on the verge of defeating his American funded rebel enemies.

Prisons of Pleasure or Pain: Huxley’s “Brave New World” vs. Orwell’s “1984”

by Uncola via TheBurningPlatform.com

Definition of UTOPIA

1:  an imaginary and indefinitely remote place

2:  a place of ideal perfection especially in laws, government, and social conditions

3:   an impractical scheme for social improvement

Definition of DYSTOPIA

1:  an imaginary place where people lead dehumanized and often fearful lives

2:  literature:  anti-utopia

Merriam-Webster.com

Many Americans today would quite possibly consider Aldous Huxley’s “Brave New World” to be a utopia of sorts with its limitless drugs, guilt-free sex, perpetual entertainment and a genetically engineered society designed for maximum economic efficiency and social harmony.  Conversely, most free people today would view Orwell’s “1984” as a dystopian nightmare, and shudder to contemplate the terrifying existence under the iron fist of “Big Brother”; the ubiquitous figurehead of a perfectly totalitarian government.

Although both men were of British descent, Huxley was nine years older than Orwell and published Brave New World in 1932, seventeen years before 1984 was released in 1949.  Both books are widely considered classics and are included in the Modern Library’s top ten great novels of the twentieth century.

Breakfast Club: Dining with Friends

by Uncola via TheBurningPlatform.com

There is a group of us who meet on Saturday mornings for breakfast.  We are four white men; college educated professionals who know each other through a shared involvement and patronage of a community organization.  Our group is comprised of one in their mid-thirties, two in their forties and me as the sole quinquagenarian of the group.

During our weekend morning meal encounters, I will usually try to steer clear from political conversations. However, more often than not, it seems our discussions do drift into politics.  The thirty-something and one of the fortyish gentlemen identify as liberal and the other quadragenarian claims to be a Republican, yet he seemed to favor Hillary Clinton in the last election.  All of them hate Donald Trump, so, this leaves me as the lone racist, fear-motivated, close-minded, privileged, conspiracy-oriented, and deplorably conservative Caucasian at our table.

The following is a condensed summary of my recollection of our conversation from this previous Saturday and it is predominately paraphrased.   As a final qualifier, and as a matter of course, I will admit the ensuing review is recapitulated through the lens of my personal perspective.  This means, although my breakfast companions would likely reject my forthcoming conclusion(s) below, at the same time, I believe they would agree that the subsequent dialogue is narrated accurately, and with the topics arranged (for the most part) in the correct consecutive order of our actual conversation.

How to Woo a Moonbatted Snowflake

by Uncola via TheBurningPlatform.com

Headlines were made last week when the results of an experiment by two New York University professors went viral.  The study was designed to demonstrate gender bias by reenacting the 2016 presidential debates between Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton, except the gender for each was reversed.  In other words, a woman recited the statements of Trump and a male reenacted Hillary Clinton’s original comments made during the debates.

The goal of the ‘Her Opponent’ project was to prove that people would not have accepted Trump’s aggressive behavior had it come from a woman, and that Hillary’s debate style would be much more likable if she were a man.

Ironically, the exact opposite happened.

The professors and audiences of the mock debates, however, were ‘unsettled’ to discover that the opposite was true –  Trump became more likable as a woman and Hillary became even less likable as a man.

At last. Although it took a scientific observation to remove the prejudice against Trump’s gender, these people could FINALLY see what the tolerant, open-minded “Deplorable” voters saw all along.

Agents of Deception, Stewards of Deceit.

by Uncola via TheBurningPlatform.com

What a week it has been since President Donald Trump addressed congress, just eight days ago.  Within hours of his attempt to unify the nation with a heartfelt speech that was widely praised by his supporters and opponents alike, Democratic Party leaders and their collaborators in the mainstream media once again doubled down on their fabricated Russian election hacking ruse.  Within days, their combined efforts compelled Trump’s newly appointed Attorney General, Jeff Sessions, to recuse himself from any 2016 Presidential Campaign investigations.

On Friday, according to CNN and their White House Spy Cam, a “frustrated and angry” President Trump had a “fiery meeting” in the Oval Office with his advisors Steve Bannon, Jared Kushner, Sean Spicer, and Reince Priebus over the “fumbling” of the “situation with Sessions”.

By Saturday, March 4th, 2017, Trump evidently decided it was time to once more push back against those who wish to derail his administration.  In a series of early-morning Tweets, Trump accused Former President Barack Obama of wire-tapping his phones at Trump Tower in New York City during the 2016 presidential campaign and made comparisons to Nixon, Watergate, and McCarthyism.

WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON?

“The older I grow, the more I distrust the familiar doctrine that age brings wisdom.” –  H.L. Mencken

“The older I get the less I listen to what people say and the more I look at what they do.”Andrew Carnegie

I’m 53 years old. The older I get the less sure I am about things I was sure about when I was 25 years old. I believed stocks for the long run was an unquestioned truth. I believed our economy was based on free market capitalism. I believed stock prices were based upon profits and cash flows. I believed a home was a place to live – not an investment. I believed the Catholic Church was run by good men doing good things. I believed journalists and the media were watchdogs working on behalf of the public. I believed our military was protecting our interests. I believed politicians legislated on behalf of the people. I believed the main purpose of bankers was to loan money to businesses and consumers in order to support economic growth. Boy, was I dumbass.

My skeptical nature, reliance on data I’ve personally vetted, and judging our leaders based on what they have done versus what they say, has allowed me to escape the Matrix. I wasn’t truly awakened until I watched Bush, Cheney, Powell, the rest of the neo-con prevaricators and fake news mainstream media utilize propaganda to railroad Americans into a $6 trillion unnecessary war, resulting in 36,000 American casualties, the destruction of a country and the creation of thousands of new Muslim terrorists.

Lost in Space. Out of Time.

by Uncola via TheBurningPlatform.com

The craft sat floating, alone on a dark sea, drifting away from a billion suns, the nearest reflecting its light around the ship’s outer perimeter. In the shape of a sphere, the craft turned on an axis unseen, in silence, as lights flickered over its surface like synapses firing upon a living brain enveloped in the still tranquility of black ether.

Within the craft, chaos reigned and the atmosphere smelled of sweat, smoke, blood and fear.  In the technology room that housed the ship’s communications and computing centers, there stood ten figures wearing black, hooded robes.  The faces beneath each hood could not be seen inside the dark room, but occasionally, the whites of their eyes would flash beneath their hoods like the flicker of knives in moonlight.

The Overlords were troubled.

Anti-Donald Trump: War Propaganda

I saw this first at LewRockwell.com and it was originally posted in French at Voltairenet.org.

Our previous articles concerning President Trump have caused some fierce reactions from our readers. Some of them have been wondering about the naïvety apparently displayed by Thierry Meyssan despite the warnings issued by the international Press and the accumulation of negative signals. Here is his response, well-reasoned as always.

by Thierry Meyssan

Two weeks after his investiture, the Altantist Press continues with its work of disinformation and agitation against the new President of the United States of America. Trump and his new collaborators are multiplying declarations and gestures which are apparently contradictory, so that it is difficult to understand what is going on in Washington.

The anti-Trump campaign

The bad faith of the Atlantist Press can be verified for each of these four main themes.

In Real Life, Sportsball Doesn’t Matter

by Uncola via TheBurningPlatform.com

I received a text from my kid at college today that said:

Reading the morning the paper and see that since Jan 26, George Orwell’s 1984 book has become the # 1 best seller on Amazon due to Kellyanne Conway coining the term “Alternative Facts” which they say is Orwellian. I still remember doing an analysis on that book.  Crazy how it’s making a comeback.

Indeed.  It is definitely crazy how it is making a comeback

Anyone who doesn’t have their head inverted way up into their rectum knows that Kellyanne was referring to the bias of the mainstream corporate media and the facts they choose NOT to tell; which is a form of censorship. Fortunately, I no longer have to worry about this kid who, in high school, did start to drift a little toward the land of snowflakes.  It took a lot of effort to open the eyes of my young ones through the years, but today, they understand how a mere six corporations, and a little over 200 media executives, control 95% of all news and entertainment.

Know Your Enemy

by Uncola via TheBurningPlatform.com

In his inaugural address on January 20, 2017, President Donald J. Trump, once again, threw down the gauntlet before his political opponents.  In a declaration of war against a globalist establishment, he reiterated his love of country and his support for common Americans.  Just as during his presidential campaign, Trump promised to put America first on the way to making America great again:

We the citizens of America are now joined in a great national effort to rebuild our country and restore its promise for all of our people. Together we will determine the course of America, and the world, for many, many years to come. We will face challenges. We will confront hardships, but we will get the job done.

For me, it was reminiscent of the same scorched earth strategy he exhibited during his speech at the Alfred E. Smith Memorial Foundation Dinner on October 20, 2016.  It appears Trump meant what he said during the campaign and, at this time, he is not acting as a typical politician who lied to get votes only then to change positions once elected into office.

From the very beginning of his speech, Trump identified the demarcation line; or the red line in the sand, that has separated the political establishment from average Americans over the past several decades:

Frenetic Freaks & Flakes Flirting With Fire

by Uncola via TheBurningPlatform.com

There is no doubt those who oppose Donald Trump are experiencing a great and collective cognitive dissonance as the 45th president begins his first term. In fact, in the days leading up to Trump’s inauguration on January 20, 2017, the agitation was palpable as the haters mourned their crushed worldviews with a sense of abject finality as the inevitable day approached.

Thousands and thousands of Never Trumpers will soon retreat from Washington D.C. and return to their garrisons, ramparts, caves and citadel’s to strategize and perfect new ways of disrupting the body politic over the next four years. As they sharpen their spears and prepare for war, it would be beneficial for them to completely comprehend the depth of their bias and belief. Unfortunately, it won’t happen.
